I am sure Mikey's flag doesn't have a label. Only because I remember that as one of my favourite "discussions" with stewards. At perth the steward wanted the flag down because of fire regulations. I only pointed out that my trousers didn't have a fire retardent label and asked if I should take them off. It all went downhill after that!!
  2. On the basis of the last two weekends, just behind Dean Brill.

Get a fire retardant label of a chair in your house and sew it neatly on and you will get it in.

Williams played himself into contention, Polworth played himself out of it.

They would flag it up and try and raise the standard

We've switched from a back four with two defensive midfielders to a back four with no defensive midfielders. Hence, the heavy defeats. It's not an unexplainable loss of form.
  7. To the Caley Thistle faithful, I have a Celtic bar 2 mins walk from the stadium. I am looking to make my bar the official home for your good natured fans come the big day. I will open all day long just for Caley thistle fans, good music and a large selection of drinks. We are called 'Paradise Bar' and are located at 65 tollcross road, Glasgow. Good luck and enjoy the day!

Hi all, Aberdeen supporter here in peace. Have been browsing your forum in the build up to the big game on Sunday. And have been keeping an eye on the results for obvious reasons. A couple of points though as to why I signed up. Firstly, I think it's an excellent sight seeing 2 non-old firm teams in a final. Especially given the resources Celtic have over the rest of us, it pleases me greatly. Secondly, Easy for me to say I guess, but I wouldn't read too much into your last couple of results, a final as you will know is a big occasion and a one off game. Anything can happen. Thirdly, I have been a bit disappointed that a few posters on here are under the impression we feel all we need to do is turn up and win the final. Granted, every set of support will have the odd idiot who will make claims such as the one I just mentioned, but I'd like to point out the majority of us are well aware that this is going to be a very tight game. It really could go either way, we both have players that on their day, will hurt opposition. We need Hayes, Rooney, McGinn and Pawlett to be at their very best whilst keeping tight at the back, whereas, If Doran, Ross & McKay play to their maximum, we will have plenty to worry about. Add to that, I'm a huge fan of Greg Tansey, and from what I can gather, he's been one of the better players since re-signing recently. No-one is just going to turn up and win this final gents(and ladies?) And I for one, am pretty nervous. However, I sincerely hope that the best team wins the cup on the day, and whilst I hope it is ourselves, if not, then ICT will get my congratulations. Anyway, all the best guys, seriously. See you on Sunday :)

Brill Raven Meekings Devine Shinnie Foran Draper Watkins Tansey Williams Mckay Subs: Esson, Tremarco, Vincent, Christie, Ross If Aaron Doran is fit to play then instead of Watkins and drop Watkins to the bench. It may be easy to say start a fresh Marley Watkins but I feel if we bring him on as an impact sub like we did at Ross County it would be good!
  10. Folks, as things stand we have a lot of bookings that have not translated into payment. We really need you to pay these before next sunday or we risk losing money that we can Ill afford. Come and pay at the stadium or on the website through PayPal, but please do pay. If any of you have friends who are not on cto but are going with us to the final, please ask them if they have paid. Thanks for your support.
  11. Christie was good when he came on and Williams looked good at times, as was the defence, while Mckay got no service. Polworth though, just awful.

  13. That was a shockingly bad game. Neither side seemed capable of being able to passing the ball preferring to batter it long all night long. Eye gauging stuff.

If that's the case, I am expecting the likes of Greenhalgh, Pepper, Polworth, Tremarco playing tonight. ICTRoughi - Pretty sure you are right with your assumption and these players will be involved v Hibs.

The starting lineup was as follows: Nick Draper Joe Gorman Jason Brown Hayden Hollinger Calum Howarth Struan McArthur Matthew Cooper Ally Sutherland Jamie Wilson Steven Rennie Chris Blackett 5 x 16 year olds in starting line up.
  16. Above is correct as I was at at 1 off the venues and players informed venue last week they would not be available so nothing to do with result. As a result of the confusion the club have agreed to send players to schools on Thursday. We all know the club is good in the community and nothing has changed.
  17. If I was an Aberdeen fan and all our allocated tickets were up of course id be trying to get into the other end. Watching the game in another end is still better than not watching it at all. I don't blame Aberdeen fans for doing this at all.

  20. I think it's slightly, nay bloody unfortunate that you guys need to play a midweek game before a cup final, but hey, that's typical of the Scottish football blazer mob eh? however, I am a Hibby and hope my team can at least get something out of tonight's game. wish I could be there, but work commitments rule it out.to get a win in the Highlands, for us is a bonus, given the absolute keek that we've performed over the years up there! anyway guys, I only came on here this morning to wish you all a great day for the league cup final, although a good result for us hibees. get tore intae that mob o' sheep at the weekend, and I hope that divin' barsteward they have up front,(Pawlett ?) get's sent aff. go on ICT.
  21. Yeah can't wait to get back to Caley park secure top six v hibs and get the utd monkey off our back. Needing an ICT fix before Sun.
  22. A highland derby on a Saturday at 3pm would be nice for a change. It's bizarre why they hate us so much. Must be wee team syndrome.
  23. Nice try Red Chappie but you blew it by making reference to all your Inverness based fans having used their allocation. There were no such restrictions. For what it's worth, I sympathise and personally believe your fans should have been given more tickets.
  24. Dougal, Ross County play in bloody Dingwall. How is this possibly a better stadium location, than well, ANYWHERE?

Meekings was terrible for those 1st 2 goals. Caught badly out of position for the 1st and put all the pressure on the keeper for the 2nd. True, Brill could have just kicked it out, but so could Meekings, instead of the backpass. He had no chance with the penalty and little with the others. Only really one of 4 goals he can really be blamed for. The same with the Celtic game. But when you're getting peppered with shots with no real protection there's always the chance you might make one mistake. Goalies are in the worst position for blame as 1 mistake can lead to a goal against so easily. But Brill has been, well, brill' this season and 1 or 2 errors do not change this. He has been a great signing considering he was relatively unknown. Even the best make mistakes.

Your grandson's just five???!!! Pull the other one!
  27. So you reckon we can score 5?
  28. Personally, I think it's a great shame that Aberdeen haven't been allocated the upper section as it's very clear now we are not going to need it. When Scottish football needs all the fans it can get there are now going to be thousands of fans who want to attend who are going to miss out at the same time as there being thousands of empty seats. Parkhead would have been all but full with an even better cup final atmosphere and, crucially at a time when the game in general is short of funds and ICT is no exception, we would have pocketed another £50,000 or more.

I'm not here to upset or offend anyone Ten4, just a genuine post before we meet in the final, that is all. If I have offended you, then I apologise.
  30. Get on the Cup Special train at Inverness. Get thrown off at Aviemore by BTP.
  31. Relegated and in administration. Can't stand them.
