  1. FFS people....who gives a flying F about what crowds other clubs are getting. It's our crowds that are important (home fans especially). If we took all the time and effort people waste on pointless cock measuring competitions between us and other clubs and put it into encouraging more people along to home games then we might just stand a chance of actually doing something constructive and worthwhile.

Gary has signed a new 3 year deal. Well done to both club and player.
  3. Glad to see that even through his baron spell and ultimately most disappointing period in a good while that he's still looked upon to be part of the squad. Great that O'Neill is showing faith, regardless.

There's an air of inevitability about hibs relegation I feel. Has been for a while. I've got lots of ice in the freezer to put in the mahoosive brandy I'm gonna pour when they go down. After I stop laughing. Which will take a while.
  5. Passionate??.....you couldnt find a more reserved, placid support anywhere than at ICT. Makes snooker crowds look like a bunch of rowdies

News today that Ian Fraser of John Fraser & Sons, Funeral Directors and former Provost of Inverness has died. Ian was a huge supporter of our club financially in the early days and at one point was the major shareholder. I'm convinced that it was his backing, and that of one or 2 others, that helped set ICT on the path we are now taking. He certainly has a place in the history of our club. Thinking of his family at this sad time. RIP Ian.

I was very sad to hear of Ian's passing. Maimie was so right in what she says and without his substantial investment in the early life of this club it just would not be here today. The internal politics during the "takeover" really upset Ian and he eventually withdrew his support of the club. Ian loved the idea of a unified football club in Inverness and he put his money where his mouth was. He was a solid supporter in the early years but latterly favoured Ross County, where, in his own words, "he felt wanted". A good man. Thanks for everything you did for us Ian.

  9. Delighted to read that Billy's in Northern Ireland's 22-man squad for their glamour trip to South America. Games against Uruguay and Chile beckon, teams who are preparing for the World Cup on their 'home' continent. He'll hopefully get game time in at least one of the fixtures - maybe even play against Suarez... The only reservation I've got is that the guy really needs a rest! He was the only player to feature in all 46 of our games this season and did look jaded and his sharpness wasn't quite there in the latter part of the campaign - but he's obviously very much part of Northern Irelands plans.
  10. I don't think we equate to any other club. We are unique. We are forever the Pride of the Highlands and no others can match us.
  11. In fact, he struck it the season before
  12. Passionate??.....you couldnt find a more reserved, placid support anywhere than at ICT. Makes snooker crowds look like a bunch of rowdies Away fans are pretty passionate in my opinion. I think to travel down the A9 every second week makes us Caleyaway guys pretty passionate?
  13. You used question marks and full stops? Are you feeling ok? Dropping out of uhi has done me the world of good.
  14. I refuse to bow to the Neil Doncaster regime. It will forever be the Division's 1,2 and 3 for me.

As a Yogi sceptic, may I wholeheartedly echo that sentiment.
  16. Juanjo at Easter Road and his never to be bettered goal celebration at Livingston. Hislop at Clyde and Golabek against Ayr United.

It's a really strong message that players can come here, settle, prosper and enjoy the way-of-life in Inverness. I assume his fiancé must also be happy in the town for Gary to commit to a long-term deal. Great news. Also really encouraging that he's keen to start doing coaching badges - Warren seems the type of character who'd do well in that capacity....who knows, down the line we could have a Foran/Warren management team!
  18. Nobody. We are unique.
