  1. Keep going from strength to strength. This team now does have some depth and options so hopefully we can keep this going excellant win and although i would liked to have had more we sounded comfortable and should have given them a doing had we converted most of our chances

  3. Excellent outcome and well deserved by all accounts. The stats tell the story - let's start converting these chances (starting next week). Joint top after the first round of matches is just outstanding. Well played lads!

  4. It's clear for all to see how good a footballer Vincent is when he is played in the right position. He was MOM today

  5. I'm happy with that. Yes, a few more goals would be nice, but at least we're not conceding many. Another 3 points and second place. Can't ask for much more than that. Well done lads!

  6. Goalless draw - but in the First Round proper draw. Never heard the crowd but must have been close to 3000.

  7. Thats some round trip, was the £5 entry fee just too tempting?

  9. Another great win. Clean sheet, no yellows, 58% possession, 10 corners, 20 attempts on goal. Great stuff. Just imagine where we'd be this season with a goalscoring striker!

  10. I also noticed that the last match day thread 'ended' at a grand total of 2 pages. An away win, no less and with a sending-off, a penalty and countless bookings! Although to be fair, home games should attract more comments, with folk being more likely to post their observations if they've been in attendance at a game.

  11. Is this the pre match thread then? Not having a go but is the fact we don't even seem to have a 'proper' build up thread an indication of how interest is falling away? Seems to be barely any match build up these days.

  12. So far then players who have played at the Caley Stadium have come from - Scotland, England, Wales, France, Spain, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Germany, Israel, Republic of Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, America, Canada, Martinique, Comoros, Poland, Cameroon, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Finland, South Korea, Barbados, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, Venezuela, Paraguay, Macedonia, Latvia, Montserrat, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Croatia, Ghana, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Guadeloupe, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Bulgaria, Guinea, Tunisia, Gabon, Georgia, Kenya, Uganda, Reunion, Estonia, Sierra Leone, Antigua and Barbuda, Lithuania, Curacao and Angola. Unless I've missed one, that's 76 different countries! I've not included people who expressed an interest to play for a certain country or were born somewhere and represented somewhere else or countries that no longer exist. Interestingly so far, there we've never had a Chilean, Russian or Belarusian. We've not had a Serbian yet either, but probably will when Celtic come next as Stefan Scepovic is from there.

  14. At the moment it is all about getting a crowd into the stadium to give our lads the backing they deserve. It is a good initiative.
