  1. Great for Gary Warren to grab one today - a chance for a wee celebration to make up for the final disappointment. Doran and Vincent excellent today. Nick Ross made an impact too. Great to have so much competition for places! The free sombreros and beach balls were a great idea. Well done ICT and thanks for a truly memorable season....and still the big one to come!

It looks likely that we'll be seeded if we enter at the first stage. But, obviously I hope we win the Scottish Cup and make that scenario redundant! Entering at Round 2, my guess is that we'd be un-seeded, potentially giving us a fixture with a 'known' club. I wouldn't normally 'admit' to this, but since Yngwie's revealed he's been dreaming of the Europa League, I confess I did a 'mock draw'. (1st round - as we're guaranteed at least that) We were paired with Welsh outfit Airbus UK Broughton! About 50 miles from Chorley! Oh how I laughed!!! That would be ironic for IHE - first European adventure...and it's an hour away on the bus!
  3. 20 years, but almost 250 years of history.
  4. Saw a guy with United and ICT stuff on the way to the ground and assumed it was maarlon trying to punt some of his shite gear onto Inverness fans.
  5. Will he be reporting back to Peter?
  6. Bizarre first goal. Presumably over the line (as it was given) but at the time I thought it was a handball and a clearly denied goal scoring opportunity so a red card. 3 great saves from Ryan to keep us in the game too so all credit to him! Great to have final win of season 3-0. To be honest we weren't at our best so encouraging to think we can up our play still. A decent result would be great pre cup final but obviously not essential. Seriously an amazing season! Well done all.

It would not be my first European adventure - Hail, Hail. Would be some feckin party in Chorley pre match though.
  8. "it would be awful if a player missed the cup final because he reacted to Scott Brown's likely antics!" That's what Tremarco is for

Had a vivid dream that we were in the Europa League final against German side Bochum. At the end of 90 mins, Bochum celebrated wildly, at having kept us to 0-0. There was then a bit of a hoo-haa when they were insisting that it should go straight to penalties rather than extra time. But common sense prevailed, and Tansey scored in the first period which was had me celebrating so much that unfortunately it woke me up and I'll never know how the game ended.

I'veactually got a family holiday in south-west England in the middle of July which is likely to clash with our "maiden" trip into Europe, but I could always miss part of the holiday. In other words, "Devon Can Wait"
  11. As i have said in the past he controls the game using cards instead of common sense. If he would only speak to players I am sure he would be a better Ref, he is very fit and gets up and down the park well so he is on top of the game, it is not a sign of weakness to get through a game card free. It would normally indicate good man management.
  12. On Kink, I remember very similar things being said on here about Billy Mckay and Adam Rooney in their first season with us. Give the guy a chance. It's encouraging to see we are still talking at this stage to all 7 players and no-one has had a "That's the best we can offer yet" as Butcher liked to tell the press when it was clear someone was leaving.
  13. Hi Guys , Falkirk Bairn here, Ive been reading your posts about ticket sales etc and some of u are right its not a competition to see who sells most its a competition to see how full BETWEEN US we can get Hampden. I appreciate travel is far more difficult for your lot ...we have an easy journey. But you are representing the Highlands and I hope along with the ICT fans other fans will join you in what could be / will be a great day. At the moment Falkirk have sold 14 000 and have requested another 2 000 .....our allocation like yours is 18 000 for the game. Id guess ICT are on about 8-10 000 which is fantastic . Im sure you will sell many more ....remember we are still over 2 weeks away. Lets show these idiots who reckon the "wee teams" cant fill Hampden ..".its going to be the lowest ever Scottish Cup Final etc etc etc" ....Sponsors allocation and neutrals have 10 000 set aside (about 200 for every team in the Scottish leagues) So between us lets aim to fill the remaining 42 000. I predict a crowd in the region of 44 000 and whether we or you have the most fans is ifrrelevant both sets of supporters will raise the roof.....Looking forward to seeing you there. BTW I dont know if ICT are doing this to promote sales but Falkirk FC have been visiting all the schools and industries in the area with the Scottish Cup to drum up sales. Why dont you get local schools to organise buses filled with £5 ticket kids too. Cheers " A Bairn"
  14. It would appear that Raven is indeed still suspended - http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resources/documents/Disciplinary/CurrentSuspensions/Season2014/15/PlayerSuspensions/LOS42%20(7%20MAY)%20VM.pdf You are the best fan at knowing player availability. Well done.
  15. Great idea you could maybe have David Ravens pic in a pet shop, Ross Draper in a curtain fabric shop and Richie and Aarons pic in the police station

Rubbish. They are not being consigned to the dustbin. Despite finishing rock bottom of the SPFL they have the lifeline of a play off. If after that, they are unable to beat the most successful non league team of the season it's only fair that that team takes their place. The Scottish League was for over a century a closed shop and it's not as if Montrose will then be locked out as aspiring Highland clubs were for over a hundred years. They have the opportunity to return the very next season but only if they prove themselves good enough. I believe the term is sporting merit.
