  1. Would rather have Ray Reardon....
  2. I suspect the standard will go down even further with the departure of the rather good and intelligent Jim Spence. What's the betting he'll be replaced by yet another inarticulate Weegie with some connection to one or other of the Ugly Sisters ?
  3. bit harsh on those trying to create something as a poster said not everyone could afford or was able to go abroad Maybe so. If I had not added "you rocket" at the end nobody would have looked twice. I suppose it's uncalled for. Best of luck with the venture. I think the ten hour car drive home from London and the fact I have seen a ton of these threads in the last 10 years left me cheekily optimistic. I personally couldn't afford to go either but I begged, borrowed and stole so I would not miss the game. To the OP. Best of luck with what your trying to do and sorry you couldn't make the game.
  4. Bring back the BENI....!!!
  5. Exactly my point, if its not ideally where someone believes or wants to be they will work hard to prove that and elevate to their percieved level (whether we agree thats where they should be or not) If it means we can get a higher quality of player then we would normally be able to afford because they have had to downsize expectations - then yes. Isnt this the exact same approach we take when we have signed risks who have failed to make the grade elsewhere or had a history of injuries - we are the highest level offering an option?
  6. A man without ambition is a poor man. An ambitious man will work for low pay if he knows he can prove himself and improve his wage given the chance.
  7. A washed up never-was trouble making waste of space. No chance.
  8. sad attitude towards someone trying to create a bit more noise at the games.good on you ellio
  9. 2-0 Friendly defeat for Kirkie Rob Roy v Airdrie last weekend. Brian Prunty scored the first Airdrie goal. Far from a legend but will always be remembered for the sclaffed shot that went in to equalise at Ibrox. His brother Jamie (a defender) played at Rob Roy for several seasons.
  10. bit harsh on those trying to create something as a poster said not everyone could afford or was able to go abroad
  11. If a section are really going for it and want to create a really vocal support then,Bridge End Ultras. Or just call it what ever the majority of you want to call it.
  12. Feel bad for Greenhalgh, always thought he looked a decent player. Could definitely do a job for a bottom 6 SPL team IMO.
  13. Filipe Morais seriously injured Bradford City's Filipe Morais has been ruled out for up to nine months with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. The 29-year-old former Oldham and Stevenage man suffered the injury during pre-season training on Monday.
