  1. Given the amount he has earned in his career and the fact that we paid him for a season where he was hardly fit to play, I thought that he might have felt an obligation to give us a season in return for a modest Championship salary. Disappointing.
  2. If that is true then its about time the club showed fans a bit of decency - many have purchased season tickets by now and we still have ne knowledge of whether senior players have been released or not. This lack of communication just shows that since last season nothing has changed. If players finished last season still under contract we have every right to expect then to be here, if they are let go due to cost cutting then we should be told - I renewed my ST and accepted the pricing farce based on expecting to have a team capable of challenging to win the league, however the more I read the less likely I think its going to be the case.
  3. Don't think anyone could have foreseen the injury he sustained early in the season as not one he suffered before. When he came back at the end of the season, doubtful if he was fully fit but never let the team down in any game I saw him play.
  4. Hardly - I don't buy my season ticket on the basis of transfer dealings, I buy it to support the team, whoever is in it
  5. That is too harsh. He did not choose to sustain a serious injury.
  6. Bear in mind Robbo asked the squad to come in for pre-season a week early. It's not unreasonable for some to be still on holiday.
  7. Think Brad Mckay is contracted until next summer.
  8. For me draper is the key. I will be amazed if st johnstone dont poach him. If we keep him he could lead this team out of the league on his shoulders and with young legs around him. If we lose him it will be extremely difficult. I will be nervous until the window closes.
  9. try now. I have set an over-ride on your permissions to allow you to edit past the default 300 minutes. I will leave the default in place but anyone else who is maintaining a thread like this can also have the same over-ride applied ... just let me know.
  10. That is too polite! The original comment about Kevin McNaughton is complete and unconsidered nonsense, as Kingsmills points out in the second part of his own.
  11. Mcnaughton is a nice guy and gave 100% but for me I'm quite glad he's left. Age has caught up with him and he's a bit short of pace for a full back. He's also a bit small to be a centre back in Scotland. Maybe in the championship he might have looked better as he does have a good football Brain and bags of experience. But I wish him well and hope he finds another club soon.
  12. Be warned that my Brother-in-law drinks (& lives) in Brechin !
  13. Surely if messrs; Warren, Raven, Boden, Fon-Williams, Mulraney and McNaughton are not back training today we can assume they are not part of Robertson's plans. I don't buy any suggestion that they were "still on holiday" - they had a full month to have their holiday and senior players should not be missing the first week of pre-season training given the season we've just experienced. Looking at the 17 players in the training pic which was circulating last week we have a very limited group to choose from and need reinforcements urgently.
  14. Cannae wait to see ye all at EEP! Missed ye aw something terrible. Buff x
  15. A replay of your last ICTFC match? Try to make it to a Dunfermline match away. The Bridies are the highlight of the Championship.
  16. I'm happy to have Baird - could be any reason for Falkirk releasing him, doesn' necessarily mean he isn't any good. Said this before but some players 'fit' better at some clubs thsn others, maybe he just fancied something different? Anyway, anybody who scores an extra time winning goal against sevco - whoops, rangers - in a cup final (challenge cup, for Raith Rovers) is ok with me!
  17. Perhaps your correct and i was slightly harsh in my original posting so i apologise for that, but he didnt actually offer us anything and came with a history of injury problems if you look at his previous 3 seasons, 11 appearances in 3 years, it was never going to end well was it? 2014–2015 → Bolton Wanderers (loan) 9 2015–2016 Wigan Athletic 2
  18. Wage thief, gave us nothing.
