  1. Surprising. We're usually so well informed about what's happening at the club.
  2. Why are some fans so hell-bent on dwelling on negatives? Quickest way to depression. Please dwell on the great days, the Caley Ballistic days, the 9 Men v Hearts, the Scottish Cup semi and final, the recent quarter final v Dundee Utd. I go to all games in hope rather than expectation - and savour these great times. Please let the semi, and maybe final, help the Clubs finances and be positive of the future - PLEASE.
  3. Folks moaning about times & locations. Its known that Glasgow & Hampden is the location for cup semi finals and has been for years so really don't see all the fuss. As for times, the game has to be outwith the 3pm scheduled games so its either a 12.15KO or 5.30 - if the later time was chosen then I'm sure there would be more complaints its too late in the day and folks will travel home in the dark and maybe even have to miss their dinner. On a Sunday public transport is more limited - put us on an early Sunday time and fans might not make it at all and on late they will complain as they have work the next day or that its interfering with the Sabbath. We have had about 5 Hampden visits in 25 years so hardly worth getting all upset about - plenty other clubs & fans would love to be in a cup semi - lets focus on the prize rather than the inconvenience of having to get up at 6am on a weekend on one occasion!!!!
  4. Aye a lot more if we get to the final
  5. Jeezo Don, I said it was a ball park figure! I thought I was agreeing with you ? FWIW, I think Hearts will bring upwards of 20000, considering it’s their first Scottish Cup semi for 7 years and first trip to Hampden for 6. Not sure how many giraffes though ?
  6. £100K is not to be sniffed at and it will probably be more.
  7. Can't blame the board for everything tough job they've got can't see a load of people wanting to dip in to there savings to help us! The previous board shafted us with there poor management choice relegation really fcked us must've lost us a fortune zero tv money zero big travelling supports !

Which is still plenty of time. The main thing is that we know the venue, date and time. Getting as many tickets as anyone wants will not be an issue.
  9. Got to agree with Mantis here. I'm expecting Hearts to take a pretty heft support through. Maybe not the full 20k but not too far short.
  10. Hope for the best....expect something a bit less. News from AGM last night is that we're still haemorrhaging money, so every penny counts and I'd love for it to be nearer your estimation than mine.

I don't see what the fuss is about regarding whether there are tickets available yet or not. We know when and where the game is and there will be more than enough available. At the moment not being in Administration and having enough staff left to keep the ship afloat by the time we actually play seems to be more of an issue to concern ourselves

To be fair, the SFA, have no influence over the cost of travel and food. The semi final is sensibly priced and, for those not able to travel for whatever reason, it is live on free to air TV. I suggest a little less whinging and much more revelling in the fact that we are, against all expectations, in another semi final with half a chance of progressing further against a Hearts side that are not in anything like the form in which they began the season.
  13. Hell Yes ! who would have thought earlier in the season with all that draws we would get a day out at Hampden so lets be proud of the boys for getting this far and turn up and cheer them on Hearts can be beaten i'm sure of it

I wouldn’t respond to that either tbh
  15. Can we not, for once, give credit for a sensible decision made in good time thus minimising inconvenience and expense for everyone ? We have often been critical, often rightly so, of little consideration being given to fans. Here we have a decision that does give us consideration and still some folk carp and complain.
  16. Slammed when they make a late decision and slammed when they make an early decision....the proverbial "can't win" scenario. The fact that they called an inspection so early would indicate that there was no chance of the game going ahead tonight...which is unsurprising given the amount of rain that's fallen the last few days and continues to fall today. Still, moaning about this is a welcome break for people moaning about the semi final ?

What do we care what the 'English game' thinks? The fact is that the SFA have no choice about kick off time it's either then or 5.15pm. Can't understand why it's a problem for a Jambo who'll be travelling less time than my daily commute. Missing out on a Scottish Cup semi-final is your choice. I'll certainly be there with my 2 kids, these occasions don't come along often. I haven't seen the prices as yet but I'm not surprised that they're likely a disgrace.
  18. Surely your wife will understand that you will have many more wedding anniversaries than Scottish Cup semi-finals?
  19. Unfortunately, I'll be in Malaysia onthat weekend visiting a daughter...but with Palace playing Man City on the Sunday, I would have been hostage to the SFA TV scheduling Gods...in the same way that I would have been watching Caley away at Partick later this month with 3 members of my family until the match was moved to the Friday!
  20. I'm going no matter what
