  2. Maybe it’s just me but CTO seems extremely quiet? This could well be down to the way ICT are playing presently I guess and the lack of direction from the board or indeed the silence from the Supporters trust or a combination of all three. Have ICT fans left CTO for Pie and Bovril I sincerely hope this is not the case I used to enjoy P&B but now it seems to have attracted the moronic fringe of our support. You would be lucky to scrape a brain cell if you merged SandyCromarty and Sophia there really is wiser eating grass! Im thinking of some of the great posters of yore that you dont see anymore, yer Scarlet Pimple, Dalneigh Caley, sneckboy, top six etc even CaleyD Thats only a few I can think of off the top of my head but feel free to add any names you would like to see post again there will be a large number I reckon. We need them back!! Best wishes and a happy new year to all or most ICT fans out there from myself Dougal

  4. Well today I’m just glad to have got through a Saturday afternoon without ICT getting beat. Happy new year when it comes!

  5. Sadly the most effective protest is happening right now - consistently poor performances on the pitch lead to falling attendances in the stands. Less income for the club - insufficient funds to keep good players. It seems to me the solution is a more entertaining match-day experience, a few wins for example, and a team that is entertaining to watch. That'll draw the punters in! The thing is, we have some very good players, with great individual skills . . . . . . . !

  6. I agree. If we had the finances to make a change, I’d fully support a protest. However, I will be focussed on encouraging the players as much as possible. I don’t see that a loan signing and the return of youngsters loaned out makes a difference. Yes, it gives us a few more to choose from, and we may need Nicolson as a starter at left back depending on whether Devine is fit to pair up with Ram at the back or whether Harper is fit, allowing Delaney to move to centre half if Devine is not fit. I’ve no idea if the youngest brought in from St Mirren will add anything. Time will tell. I just wish we had a meaningful update on all our injured players. Allardice and MacGregor have had very little game time in the last 18 months due to injuries. We’ve hardly seen Samuels this season. We anticipated seeing Sutherland and Walsh in the new year: it starts tomorrow so an update on them would be good. We are heading into a relegation battle if we lose tomorrow and at Arbroath next week. Now is the time for the players to step up and show what they can do. If that means ignoring the game plan, so be it.

  7. I really can't see a protest doing any good to be fair. At the end of the day we haven't got the finances to start sacking people or buying quality players. Yes, it would indeed highlight the feelings of our supporters, but they already know that - don't they

  8. Dodds is a dud and out of his depth tactically and technically and clearly those around him are struggling to step up and support. Expect more disjointed performances and excuses lined up again whether it's old or new faces. The inherent ability of a full strength team last year showed that it can perform at the expense of poor tactics, this year we are not so fortunate. We should be positive and expectant of a comfortable home win against Cove however we are all uncertain and wouldn't be shocked by a defeat. This demonstrates how far things have fallen in the last few seasons in terms of fan positivity and club performances. Uncomfortable afternoon expected with a very tight game and single goal advantage scraping a win for either team. Won't be a classic thats for sure.

  10. Believe they have been recalled now. Elgin announced he had gone back to us.

  11. Did a search and found this: https://ictfc.com/john-robertson-extends-contract-until-2022-23 If his managerial contract terms still apply it is also up in June.

  12. Good to see someone take a stand against players going down easily and conning referees. VAR in the world cup stopped this to a large extent but back in domestic games it will continue. The law should be changed so that dives at one end should be given to the opponent at the other end. Very difficult for referees to judge though.

  13. If rumours are to be believed we can't afford to sack Dodds we just gotta hope we survive both on and off the pitch this season and then hope the board won't renew his contract. I just can't see him resigning or coming to a mutual agreement with the board to terminate his contract. We're unfortunately stuck with him

  14. I think the far more important question is; Has there ever been an ICT manager that you haven’t called to be sacked?? Lolz Who do you think should replace Dodds then is there any yokels or bumpkins in Caithness that could do a turn? From my experience Pentand Utd were always a well run outfit that has professional aspirations. Dougal

  15. Totally. As it stands I don't feel like going to the Cove game. Sad when I'm a long standing season ticker holder.

  16. So is the calls for a protest binned now we signed an unknown and a few youths back? Everyone good that this buys a few more months of excuses again about bedding in and familiarisation ignoring the lack of any cohesion or coherent playing style and shape?
