We are where we are, not because we are "excellent" or "brilliant throughout the game", or that we didn't get a penalty. We are where we are because we are consistently sh!te. The table doesn't lie.6 points

I get the impression that we should just be grateful that someone of his renown had decided to come up to our backwater. Poor results are just a minor inconvenience.3 points

I don't think he has a clue re where we are this season. His priorities are so obviously different to ours? What on earth made him come over like that. Got pretty unpleasant as he seemed to gesture we lost due to be 10 men? Em no we didn't....2 points

Not long home. Where to start.... Most of 1st half we were better team. Heading towards 0-0 at half time when Samuel quite clearly manhandled to ground. Beaton says no pen....really? To add insult to injury Partick go up other end and score. Looked suspiciously offside to us but given. Never really got going after that. Could have played till midnight and not scored. No idea re Kerr first yellow but second was just madness. Dunc seems clueless. Looks like board were starstruck and we are stuck with him. Feel sorry for the players as they put in a shift but we really are a poor team and fully deserve to be in 9th sadly. Not sure I can face a home game next week....2 points

Went back through the thread to see what my thoughts were on Ferguson coming in. Can't help but feel we need to empty him now to have any chance of avoiding relegation. He's absolutely clueless.2 points

Yes. They were tasked with keeping us in the Championship and those who appointed him will be claiming it as job well done and a successful season.1 point

Given the state of our match videos these days I wouldn't be holding my breath on that.1 point

When Christie resigned in 2007 he said it was due to pressure of the job and the impact it was having on him and his family. He also made it clear last year when he took the job alongside Robbo on an interim basis that he was not interested in it permanently. The club is an absolute shitshow at the moment, and regardless of how this season ends, there's going to be a lot of pressure on the club and team next season. Either to bounce back from League 1, or to be challenging in the Championship. That's going to be beyond anything he experienced in 2007 and the last thing we want is a manager walking away if we get off to a slow start because they can't hack the pressure. As for him finishing out this season. Why would he put himself in that position? In fact, why would anyone put themselves in that position? Even if we could afford to get rid of Ferguson. Like it or not we are stuck with Ferguson and we have to hope he walks or there's a relegation clause that allows us to dump him at the end of the season should the worst happen. If we are relegated then who's managing the team will be the least of our worries. Even if we avoid relegation there's every chance it will still be the least of our worries.1 point

That was my impression. Also seemed like a carbon copy of last week’s interview at Tannadeechay.1 point

WTF. What a bizarre load of tripe. Must be getting interview tips from Richie Foran.1 point

I’m finding it hard to shake off the feeling that it wouldn’t have mattered if we’d kept Dodds or brought anybody else in. Same feeling goes for ditching him now, wouldn’t make any difference, the problems go far deeper than whoever fills the manager role and it’s dragging us ever downwards1 point

Surely there'll be a relegation clause in his contract? Not that it matters a jot if the same individual is responsible for hiring any replacement!1 point

If we scrape into 8th place or survive the relegation playoffs, do we think DF and GB will still be here next season ?0 points

Far too late now to make any difference. With hindsight Dunc should have been gone round about the QPFC home defeat on 3rd Feb. Charlie and possibly Robbo could maybe have salvaged something.0 points

Approximate diary dates based on last season: Following the Morton game, we’ll face an away trip, possibly Tues 7th, to club 4, say Montrose or Cove. Then at home on the Sunday afternoon. If we survive that, it’s rinse and repeat the following week against the winners of the other tie, say Alloa or Hamilton, away first.0 points

Didn’t make it to Firhill today, but two mates did. When he came over and heard some dissent his attitude changed immediately. He couldn’t believe fans would be disgruntled. He is absolutely detached from the reality of where we are. This is dire .0 points
