  1. Congratulations to former ICT star Graeme Shinnie! Winning the Scottish cup today for the 2nd time (previously with Inverness). Has now captained Aberdeen to the cup with a victory over Celtic.

From the Inverness Courier, it looks like we can offer existing players contract extensions even though we're still in administration. According to the P&J, Danny Devine is the first to say publicly that he intends to stay.
  3. Two shite teams competing for a place in a shite league.

Always hoped Lewis would get over his injuries and get a regular start for us, probably at least as good as Cammy Harper. First set eyes on him when we reached the semi-final of the Scottish Youth Cup and were narrowly beaten by Hearts. He was a stand-out.

Hopefully he may be able to be involved in football in some capacity if that's his aim. My son's football team over here has a couple of coaches who had to quit the game through injury, one who played in Germany and the other here in Canada. They cannot play competitively but can still do coaching, technique, tactics etc. One has also founded his own academy as a side gig similar to what ex-players sometimes do on both sides of the pond. Also, let's not forget ICT legend Pele Paterson, whose playing career ended through injury too. He went on to be pretty successful as our manager 🙂

Start video at 4:57 for Lewis' stunning goal 👏 Full Name: Lewis Nicolson Born: May 4th, 2004 (Inverness) Height: 178 Position: Left back Signed: June 10th, 2021 First Manager: Billy Dodds Career Stats: 11 appearances, 2 goals Debut (sub): January 29th, 2022 - Kilmarnock 1 - 0 Inverness CT (Championship) Full Debut: July 15th, 2023 - 2 - 1 Bonnyrigg Rose (League Cup - Group E) First Goal: February 19th, 2022 - Inverness CT 1 - 2 Ayr United (Championship) Also Played For: Elgin City Goals Scored Feb 19th, 2022 League (H) vs. Ayr United 1 - 2 (86') Jan 7th, 2023 League (A) vs. Arbroath 4 - 1 (86') The last goal was the icing on the cake when substitute Lewis Nicolson nudged a header back across the six yard box and into an unguarded net. Mckay and then Steven Boyd combined to set up the chance which Lewis executed exquisitely, his second goal for the club. Both his goals were scored in the 86th minute. (lucky number for you Lewis?)

Such a shame. I thought he showed great promise and would have been a first team regular had it not been for those awful injuries..

Never good to see a player have to step away from the game due to injuries. Hopefully it doesn't hinder him in any other aspect of his life and he can go on to have a successful career in something else.

The club can announce that defender Lewis Nicolson has taken the decision to step away from football. Lewis, 21 years-old, has suffered two serious knee injuries during his time with the club and has now decided to pursue career opportunities elsewhere. "“Over the past two years I have struggled to return from injury, but through this period everyone at the club, the fans and my sponsors have been incredibly supportive. It has been such a difficult decision to step away from football but with the scare of this second injury and after three knee operations, I have decided to prioritise long term health. I look forward to being a fan once again by supporting the players and management going into next season.” All the best for the future Lewis from all at CTO. You have put a lot of time and effort into your football career but your long term health is more important. It's disappointing for you but maybe a new beginning is just round the corner.

I cannot blame any of the players like Remi or musa if they find a better contract somewhere else. They have ability above league 1. But if they are settled, if we can match their ambitions with a league 1 win this year and a push the following year then maybe they could stay to enjoy the journey. Especially if we add release clauses that lets them move when great offers come in.

That was nothing more than a carrot dangled to ICT fans giving hope he might stay for a bit longer.

Hopefully has better shooting boots than his father. I seem to remember him taking an eternity to get his first goal for us. Clyde made up for that though!

I do hope the other four will follow on and stay.

Pleasantly surprised to see Longstaff agree a contract until 2027!

The way Musas agent spoke, it sounded like he'd prefer to stay and get games at us then take a big offer and be a backup so fingers crossed. I hope for the other 3 it's more a case of waiting to see what investment goes into the squad once the dust settles but more likely they're waiting to see if anyone else offers better terms

What about Andrew Shinnie? 36 years old this July and out of contract at Livi soon. He only got 12 mins in tonight’s qualifier. Would be a good fit amongst the young team
  17. We also had income of £92,000 from player trading, with no further details provided.
  18. I see we got a £20,000 player development fee from Accrington Stanley. Would that be for Ben Woods?
