  1. Andy Barrowman - Swede
  2. He had a fitness test for the Hibs game and appears to be fine http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/News/Miss-Glasgow-proves-a-hit-with-Inverness-Caley-Thistle-players-27072011.htm
  3. There are other charges still outstanding for assault. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-13883757 You win some - that's three cases, ?450 of fines from two and one dropped - but some times you lose some. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-13979701
  4. Agree that this is a great boost but also that we need to clone Rossco but make number two Rossco a bit faster and a little slimmer. Two more good defenders and we can start with confidence. Leicester City feeder club to ICT has a nice ring about it. Notice though that the four players are 5' 7", 5' 8",5' 9" and 5' 10". If we can get a defender linked to them hopefully they will be 5'11"!
  5. http://www.ictfc.co.uk/articles/stuart-duff-inverness-ct_2208837_22200 He is still showing as a player. Last year he was without a club at the beginning of the season and then we signed him from exile. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/198196/Duff-returns-for-a-second-stint-at-Caley
  6. Sanchez added variety to our play plus skill. Wellington is a great city so here's to him being a great success. With high winds he will be the guy to keep the ball on the deck. Noticed also that Eric has moved to Turkey. Which reminds me where did our big French defender go?
  7. Two current court cases against him pending - if found guilty of both and sent to Barlinnie it could be worth 10 years.
  8. He probably realised he would have been out of his depth in the SPL.
  9. We all need to wish Adam the very best of luck. An absolutely decent guy who worked very hard for the club and now has a good reward. An example that others can follow in terms of being a role model.
  10. I saw what looked like Adam's car today............
  11. They were happy taking our cash when we used their ground for home fixtures and each game was down the goat track. Presumably we would have been happy travelling to Pitodrie had the fixture been reversed. Let's hope Father Christmas cares for those who do not whinge but just get on with things. Mind you, Celtic would finish bottom on that assumption.
  12. I had hoped Charlie Bannerman would have pointed that out within the constraints of any embargo! What chance ICT at Dunfermline and Barrowman scoring the winner?
  13. http://www.highland-news.co.uk/Sport/Football/French-full-back-agrees-Caley-Thistle-contract-14062011.htm Great re-signing.
  14. http://www.scotprem.com/content/ Assuming Dunfermline host Rangers on the opening day I presume we will end up somewhere like Hearts for our opening fixture.
  15. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/adam-rooney/profil/spieler_37773.html 30 June 2011 if this is correct.
  16. Coincidentally, I recall speaking to Martin Bavidge on the subject of career first and football second. I imagine it has worked for him. That said, I think Rory could if he trained harder become a top player with plumbing career to fall back on. Just ask our Director of Football.
  17. County already believe they are Champions in SFL1 2011/12. Long may that continue. Agent Christie will inflate the balloon.....
  18. Butcher should meat him.
  19. Barrowman and the donkey by a mile! It would be fantastic if the Courier could lift that one. Does anyone recall the graffiti on a sign into Aberdeenshire Keep Grampian Beautiful - sell Davie Dodds
  20. What is galling is that in 2008/09 we were relegated with 37 points and a goal difference of -21. If you look at the current table, three teams will finish with less than 37 points this season. Hibs play Aberdeen so both can reach 37 but Hibs goal difference would have to be -21 if Aberdeen won. If Hamilton beat ICT - Terry will go absolutely ape if they do - they will reach just 29 points. As a reminder St Mirren were also on 37 points the year we were relegated but even if they squeeze a win against St Johnstone this weekend they will only reach 35. Last year they managed 34 points but were save by Kilmarnock on 33 and Falkirk on 31.
  21. Well I have renewed mine so hopefully am one of the first to do so. I guess I am currently lucky in being able to afford this but now we are back in the SPL it is a privilege to watch football at this level. I miss games so I wonder whether there is demand say for a 13 ticket season ticket? I am not advocating that for myself but possibly for those living away or restricted by work. In the main stand it could be priced at say ?240 and could be used as and when required except when the old firm played when pre-booking could be required. This prices games at ?18.46 each which is good value for money. The club clearly needs as many season ticket holders as possible and therefore perhaps 50 of these could be made available in both stands possibly for different groups.
  22. May be the Directors are swaying things in Grant's favour if he gives it one final push against the Accies.
  23. Two games, two clean sheets. Magnificent.
  24. Just a small point, Jonny 'I have been incredibly patient but have not lost my amazing enthusiasm' Tuffey made his SPL debut last Saturday and started with a clean sheet. Your smile, enthusiasm, work rate and International call ups, has probably pushed Ryan to great heights this season but your professionalism has been first class. Well done.
  25. Unfortunately Russell's career has been plagued by occasional immaturity. Both he and Mair were born in Aberdeen in late 1980 so probably know one another well. I cannot defend his immaturity but he was far from violent. In this season of whinging by Lennon and other issues surrounding respect for referees, it would be great if either Russell's red card was rescinded or Mair convicted by TV evidence of childishly getting a fellow professional sent off. It would be an amazing act of humility if Inverness gambled ?1,000 for an appeal on a player who is not critical for the last two games but who has been a great servant to the club. That and the offer of a new contract for Grant would put Inverness on the map as a truly fair and decent club. That image could increase the attractiveness of players and future support staff choosing ICT as a trustworthy and fair employer.
