Ross County -V- Inverness C.T.
The (very very) small print on the back of the ticket stubs says that we can present them to gain entry to the re-arranged match. If you do not wish or are unable to attend you can appy for a refund within 14 days of the rearranged fixture being announced and presentation of the stub at "the stadium". Not clear if that is our (where I bought my ticket) or their stadium. More insult to injury when we got stuck in a traffic jam in Castle Street for half an hour because the police could not handle the surge of fans leaving along High Street and Station Road. We sat and listened to slippery Roy MacGregor's excuses for the power failure and then more drivel from the pundits on BBC Sportsound. The 16th November is the obvious choice to replay the game before snow and flooding are likely cause problems in December, January and February. A 2pm kick off would also avoid the risk of the lights going out on us again.

Partick Game
Duh. I was thinking it was an away game. Apart from that boob I still think the attendance will be low. Rather be there on the Saturday.

Partick Game
What a waste of time moving that game to the Sunday, just to show it on Sky. Can't see many folk turning up at Firhill or neutrals watching it on tv either. I also fear that as we never play well in games with early kick offs we may lose our momentum from the current run.

Fans in dangerous situation
The traffic lights are the problem. There was no provision made for a crossing phase despite the fact that Transport Scotland knew that cyclists need to negotiate the roundabout. They forced cyclists using the bridge during the road works on to the east side of the bridge but then did not allow a gap in the phasing to them to cross to and from there. The cyling lobby is still pressing Transport Scotland to sort this out. Transport Scotland also failed to realise that during the football season there would be possibly 2000+ crossing the dual carriageway before and after games. Yesterday we again witnessed a Bear employee controlling the lights to attempt to change the traffic flows and let pedestrians cross before the game. However, he was getting abuse from drivers in the queues. No police or traffic wardens were there. Then after the match the Bear guy was still there but then two traffic wardens appeared and took over, which was far better. The traffic lights are mainly designed to handle the rush hour traffic during the week. The traffic flow at weekends and later in an evening is quite different and does not justify keeping them switched on. I say switch them off until the road works on the south-bound carriageway of the bridge commence next February but also switch them off on match days and use wardens. Otherwise we will see pedestrian and cycle casualties.

Helping out Hearts
850 tickets sold for away end and probably a few hundred more intending to pay at the gate. Offering the £5 donation per head to the fighting fund now seems like a good idea for our coffers as well.

Where do the ICT support originate from?
1 Where were you born? Edinburgh - born into a long line of Jambos. My father saw them win everything in the 1950s and used to tell me about, regularly. 2.Where did you spend your childhood? Edinburgh. Went on a run of 6 successive seasons in the 1970s when I attended every Hearts league and cup game, home and away 3 When did you start following football in Inverness? 1989, when I come to work here. Went to a number of Caley and Thistle matches. Was hooked on (I)CT when I watched their first league game v Arbroath in August 1994. Herchie's hatrick in the 5-2 win was class. Been a season ticket holder ever since. 4 What is you current location? Inverness

ICT -V- St Mirren
Great second half. We could have won 5-0. All the players stepped up after half time with first class performances from Vincent and Foran. Apparently there was a communications failure with most media forms. I couldn't get up to date info on my phone after half time. With 5 minutes to go Skysports was still showing 0-0 in our game.

Clach Friendly
A good work out for the boys tonight in a fast flowing game. Doran looked a different class in the first half and caused Clach a lot of problems. I also thought that Devine and Cooper looked comfortable in defence and Christie and Polworth were lively and confident in the middle of the park. Vincent and Tremarco looked a bit off the pace though and a bit more training should get them up to speed. Brill also looked confident and alert when called into action. He may have to step up quickly as I've heard that Ryan is injured again.

Team For Dingwall FC
I think it's time to spice things up with a bit of Pepper running at County through the middle with McKay. I'd also have Devine in ahead of Raven in defence but push Meekings to full back to sort out Vigurs. Taylor should also be in at left back with Graeme Shinnie pushed into midfield. I agree that the pitch won't suit Nick Ross either. So I'd go with: --------------------------------Reguero----------------------------- ----Meekings---------Devine--------Hogg--------Taylor-------- --------Doran ---------------Jones-----------ShinnieG---------- ------------------------------ShinnieA------------------------------- ------------------Pepper---------------McKay---------------------- Subs: Esson, Raven, Ross, Polworth, Sutherland +2 others

Top 6 Fixtures
If it pans out like that then surely it would be the shortest walk in history of the Highland Marchers - Inverness to Dungwall. Unless they go via Wester Ross.

ICT End of Season Ball
For £84 I'd be expecting a free bar. Can't make it though on account of another prior engagement.

A personal invite for you
Seven and a half hours drinking in the pub should be plenty time for us to get mouthy.

Gain 2000+ fans instantly.
As Poles and other Eastern Europeans prefer to send their money home to relatives I can't see them forking out £26+ for a game at the TCS.

Pepper
Groan. Would like to see him spice things up with more than a few touches of Pepper. Roberts just doesn't have it.

ICT v Celtic Match thread
A good effort spoiled by Craig Thomson, plus Septic got lucky. Terry, please stop sending on Roberts like it is the last throw of the dice because he is just not up to it. Pepper and even Sutherland should be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Derby pitch inspection - GAME OFF
A bit of a farce, yes. The only good thing for me is I don't have to try and get out of my sick bed to go and watch it or lose my cash on the two tickets bought. Hopefully I will have stopped coughing by the time the game is rearranged.

Televised Games
Forgive me if this has been raised on another thread. Any word of the Newco v ICT league cup game on Halloween being televised? I don't see it listed on Sky Sports or ESPN schedules.

Police in North Stand
I remember having a run in with an over officious steward about my son's ICT flag blocking a hoarding in the family enclosure of the North Stand on the last day of the season just over 7 years ago. He said that the club had complained about it because it was over an advert but in actual fact it was only blocking the last three letters "URE" of the "KEVIN BISSETT FAMILY ENCLOSURE". The flag had been up there the whole season and someone chose the last day to have it removed. When I challenged the steward he then told me I was being disrespectful to Kevin Bissett. When I raised my complaint with the club they said that they had not complained. All this was going on while the stewards did next to nothing when Dundee United fans invaded the pitch for surviving relegation. Incredible!!!

Arsenal Trialist - Philip Roberts
A welcome addition as is the link with the mighty Gunners but we need more than one striker from them. We also need a decent winger to replace Hayes and two more defenders because we have next to no back up.

Police in North Stand
I know smoking is banned but way, way OTT by the beaks in their treatment of a regular fan, especially by comparison with the behaviour of the away support. The same two stewards asked me if I was carrying any liquids in bottles into the ground on the way in. When I said no and I had no concealed weapons either, unlike the Septic fan who stabbed the other one the last time they were in town, they didn't like it.

Arbroath Smokies & Updates
Obvious but very funny. Thanks for all the bulletins. Looks like they re-focused after the Celtic fiasco. Onward and upward.

ICT squad 2012-13
I see that Butcher has expressed caution about playing Matt Cooper in the first team on a regular basis. However, with injuries to Raven, Warren and King already on top of Hogg's ongoing rehabilitation he will surely have to play.

Sellic game on 25 August - 3pm kick off!
Shock, horror. I've just received the first email of the season from our commercial folk with the hospitality offer for this game. In checking the itinerary I note that it is a 3pm kick off, on a Saturday. Not that I'm complaining as that arrangement always suits me better. Is this the first time we have played Sellic at home at the traditional match time on a Saturday? Normally these are governed by the satellite tv company but it looks like they are not screening that game.

ICT squad 2012-13
After seeing how stretched out small squad was with last night's game I am worried as well. The right back Cooper looks a good prospect though. Is he on trial? Rudi Skacel would be a great signing for us. Could we not use some of the Muirfield money to tempt him north?
