Nick Ross injury

Anyone heard anything official about how serious his injury is?

Todays Scottish Sun is saying it was a dislocated shoulder and it will be 2 months out, no idea whether this is the case or not as there is no information coming from the club

With such a small squad we really cant afford to have any injuries. Really need him back playing asap

Sadly 8 weeks was what I heard too.

Despite what's in the P&J today,Nick has dislocated his shoulder and will be out of action for some weeks

I remember Dargo and Wyness both dislocating there shoulder against Celtic

He's out for 8-10 weeks. Feel sorry for nick as grew up with him. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Its a shame. I think we'll miss him. Quality player who I would have starting every week. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Dislocated seems to be our bogey injury, as mentioned above both Wyness and Dargo suffered the injury and i'm sure Hayes and Doran both did it too.

That Andrew Greig had it happen last year as well and I think he'd had it happen more than once.

Very dissapointing, had been a great impact player for us this season so far and we are so low on numbers as it is.

That was some pretty hefty challenge he took when battling for the ball. Did it go beyond the bounds of fairness or is it just a consequence of Ross being too lightweight and easily brushed aside? The ref clearly saw nothing wrong with it and Celtic went on to score. How did others see it?

I'm old school when it comes to this. The harder the better, get the ball and it's fine take the man on the follow through and that's a bonus. Seen nothing in it.

And Brewster as well.

It wsa a fair challenge, one of those things. Hard lines Nick.

News is that Nick needs an op and could be out until January. However, according to the P&J match report today he was still fit enough to be on the bench

Get him in the gym on the bench press, that'll sort 'im out.

After it's healed like.

papers today saying 3 months out at least. Not good. Could really do with him back playing asap

As a friend of nicks. He's gonna be a big miss to the team. He's a great player and his appearance on the pitch will b a big miss too

I am sure every ICT fan wishes Nick all the best, and an asap return to full fitness. We will miss you, Nick, and look forward to your return to your place in the first team. Best regards. Liz S

He has confirmed on twitter that he will be out for months.

@PutifarGolobart your welcome. They're good! It's ok getting an operation on tuesday. Be out for a few months! Need a new hobby, any ideas?

Surely the fact he's all skin and bone means he wont require the muscle to heal around the relocated joint. Back in 2 weeks then. :bullshit:

He had his op on Tuesday and it went well. So I got told yesterday. Be great to see him come back soon. But such a big miss to the team.
