Jonny Tuffey

Being released by St Johnstone this summer

Shame it didnt work out for him after leaving us. Always thought he had the makings of a great keeper and i'm sure if he had the patience to stay on with us that he would have been first choice within a couple of seasons

Certainly wouldn't mind him being back.  To think he would probably have been first choice with Esson's injuries.

He'd probably be a good signing actually

Had the same thought...

Like others above, I think he would be a decent signing to replace Reguero. He could well push Esson for number 1 spot now.

Yeah....would be a useful addition to the squad.

Would take him back here too - although I'd rather Killie take him and Toni comes back :(

To be honest, Id imagine he wouldn't mind coming back, we don't mind him coming back, so this may materialize! No chance of him going to be first choice at Partick because of Scott Fox

I'm with Caley D on this one.  He's played next to no football over the past 2 or 3 years.  I'm sure he cold still do a good job somewhere just not convinced he's the right fit for us.

no surrender jonny :crazy::hiding::hiding02:

My opening post wasn't really hinting towards Tuffey coming back but such a move has been ruled out anyway by the club:

One player not making a move back to Inverness is goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey.

The 26-year-old Northern Ireland international, who was at ICT from 2010 to 2012, has been freed by St Johnstone, but ICT are not aiming to lure him north again.

He's going to celtic on a free as third choice.

Celtic? Wow, good move for him even if it means third choice. He will learn an awful lot from the likes of Forster if this move has happened

Sorry I meant Stalybridge Celtic.

Should've been more specific.
