How`s he getting on since his move to greener pastures?

Thought we could keep an eye on him & have a good laugh at his expense when opportunity arises.

I cant see him turning them around this season anyway ,if at all.

Likely headlines after the 7th consecutive defeat " Rod Petrie kicks in Butchers new office door! "

In terms of league position our last 2 seasons have been our best 2 seasons ever and we have Terry Butcher to thank for that.  On a very limited budget he and his management team did an excellent job

  • Edinburgh now has more pandas than Premier League clubs.

Butcher done his best to keep the Ebinbra derby going. Sweet justice complete.

:finger:

Well, I suppose he can use his expertise of getting a relegated club promoted.  That's if he's still the manager next season.

Fixture set up to benefit the Edinburgh side, who are then 1 goal up despite being the second best side going into injury time. Stunning injury time equaliser and then a penalties win for the better team. Where have I seen that before this season at Easter Road ?

Looks like it will be back to Lidl's and aldi and forget about Marks and Sparks

PS, much kudos to Hamilton. I thought they were EXCELLENT today...played attractive positive footie and richly deserved their place in SPL.

Butcher proves he is consistant. he got ICT relegated and he has gone and repeated that feat with HIBS lol lots!!

1st he will be sacked in the morning.

2nd Hibs wont bounce straight back up.

Oh at least he has the Edinburgh Derbies to look forward too   and I don't see them coming straight back up   :clapoverhead: :clapoverhead:

Going to be a cracking championship next season. Two places up for grabs in the top flight. Going to be a good play off next year

Hibs manager Terry Butcher lauds Jason Cummings' confidence

Scottish Premiership play-off final second leg

Manager Terry Butcher says he always knew Jason Cummings would come good because of the 18-year-old Hibernian forward's self-confidence.

Cummings' double against Hamilton Academical has put Hibs in control of their Premiership play-off final ahead of Sunday's second leg at Easter Road.

"It's impossible to keep his feet on the ground," said Butcher. "His head is up in the clouds.

Did he get Motherwell relegated?

He finished bottom in his first season, but they weren't relegated because Brockville didn't have enough seats for Falkirk to come up.

did he not save them from the drop

Butcher's Motherwell finished bottom of the SPL and should have been relegated but were given a reprieve due to First Division champions Falkirk not meeting stadium criteria.

Just for the sake of accuracy, this is a reminder ofwhat the bell-end actually said...

"Even the cake served is a sign of how he and his assistant Maurice Malpas have moved on to what they believe could be bigger and better things with the capital side. “I bought the cakes, but I’m sending the bill in to [chairman] Mr Petrie. It was Tesco cakes at Caley Thistle but it’s now Marks & Spencer!”

Aldi might be a bit upmarket now I guess.

With the two T.V companies probably wanting to show more Hearts, Hibs and Rangers away games it should mean more 3pm Saturday kick offs for us. All good as far as I'm concerned.

I wonder what odds you would have got at the start of season for Hibs AND Hearts to get relegated?

Heheh

He must get the sack ! WHAT the Tell has he being doing the last 6 months jolly old poor chap he is now!!

Going to miss there chicken curry pies at half time

Dunno, hopefully we have another semi-final there!

Not a play-off though!

Can somebody please post up that unforgettable photo of Butcher at ER in the dirty old man coat again: the caption should surely read "will the last one out please turn off the lights!". Well done Accies - appearently by far the better team today and thoroughly deserving. So, no war chest for Butcher as promised: will this push Hibs over the edge? They surely won't have budgeted for this and, with the compensation for Fenlon and ICT.....
