Seemingly Aberdeen have lined up defender Alan Tate from Swansea City on loan until the end of the season and Celtic are after Fletcher from Sunderland for £6-8m.

County also keen on Kiss from Cardiff City - think I saw a photo that showed him in the away dugout at the derby game. They have already brought in one already as we unfortunately know.

Our first choice keeper for long periods last season, but hasn't played a single match yet for Kilmarnock.

The Caley Curse has struck again!

Scottish clubs looking at Adam Rooney so says the sun

Aye, The Sun report that Adam Rooney is wanted by 7 Scottish clubs - Aberdeen (favourites), Hibs, Dundee Utd, Killie, St J, St M and County.

I also noticed while reading my daily copy of the Swindon Advertiser over breakfast that Rooney is still involved in a legal action against Swindon Town.

"Rooney’s representatives came to an agreement with the board of former owner Andrew Black back in August 2012 which ensured the forward’s loan move from Birmingham would lead to a permanent contract last August, only for Town to renege on the deal as they suggested the paperwork was not legitimate."

The Swindon Advertiser, Yngwie!! Over breakfast! As well as the Trinidad and Tobago Gazette!!!

"It was a really strange move to begin with and the inevitable has now happened with keeper Antonio Reguero unable to break into the Kilmarnock team after his move from Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Now Motherwell could be his next port of call, with Stuart McCall preparing a loan bid for the Spaniard."

Taken from the daily record website

Met reguero not long before he went. He said the reason for going was easier travel back to Spain. Seemed a reasonable explanation for an otherwise strange decision?

He went for a bit more money. Wonder if he regrets it now.

We wouldn't have signed Dean Brill if he stayed so we got the better deal out of it all.

How many more strikers to County want?

Would imagine he will either head to whichever team dosent get Greatpenis (Aberdeen or St Johnstone) or TB will be all over this move.

Reguero and Rooney to County would be hard to take!

Looks like Rooney to Aberdeen (BBC Scottish gossip). He's having a medical.

Mihael Kovacevic has left Ross County by mutual consent.

Hamilton have signed Jason Scotland.

Sounds like Hibs out bid for Rooney by Aberdeen .....Things not going according to plan it seems.

Or maybe Rooney just wants to be back with Hayes. Dont think he was that fond of Butcher to be honest.

Butcher never played him much to begin with. He was after all a Brewster signing.

(So now Aberdeen have got themselves a proven `bottom six` striker)

Adam Rooney has signed for Aberdeen.

St Johnstone have signed Chris Iwelumo
