Interesting to read in today's press and journal that John Hughes fears he won't have time to replace Mckay.

Anybody worried about this sort of talk. I really fear for our European hopes if we don't get anybody in in time. Any names being mentioned regarding potential signings or we all in the dark

They seem to rate him quite highly but I suppose that's not saying much.  Maybe if he comes to us as part of a cultured playing side he will start to shine.

Why is their so much talk of former county players? Surely to Christ we can attract better than that! Drawing with that lot was bad...being linked with their former players is not only an insult to our players but an embarrassment too!!!

Blackburn have cancelled Jordan Slews Contract by mutual consent

One thing that is very clear is that the chairmans statement re contingency plans was a complete load of county. I don't think any of us expected anything different tbh which is disappointing..

I see Wigan have signed Wolves striker Leon Clarke on loan.  Looks as though Billy could be spending a fair bit of time on the bench.  Maybe we could get him on a loan deal
