A thoroughly enjoyable game. As my first look at this team, I came away very impressed. Our league position is false. I was expecting a tough game from Livvy, but not in the way they planned it. That

  • Have to disagree with those posters who are blaming Vigurs for us not winning yesterday. There was no way he deserved to be sent off. His first booking may or may not have been justified, it was defin

  • Ian Vigurs should hang his head in shame and learn to keep his mouth shut. Instead of talking about some sublime touches we are once again taking about his immature behaviour. He cost us two points to

Thought that as well but the ICT account is still tweeting about ticket offers (or something) and nothing about a pitch inspection so I'll take that as good news!

The USH is good for a bit of frost. Just can't cope with much rain.

I was just in getting my tickets and speaking to Tommy the groundsman, he was saying ground looking pretty good and unlikely to be affected by any weather between now and 3

2017 was one of those horrible anus thingies with a well deserved relegation followed by a dismal start to the new season. But after we tightened up at the back there was at least a glimmer of light at the end of the annus.

Looking back, I see we won our first fixture of each of the last 3 years, so let’s keep that going and get 2018 off to a good start.

I'll lay out this team just to try and get my head around it. Many surprises:

                           Ridgers

McKay  Donaldson  Warren  Chalmers

                   Trafford    Vigurs

       Mulraney    Polworth    Doran

                            Oakley

I'm guessing it's 3 at the back.

CaleyStan's team makes sense but could also be:

-------------------------------Ridgers----------------------------------

-------------McKay----Donaldson---Warren------------------

Mulraney-------------------------------------------Chalmers-----

----------------Polworth--Vigurs---Trafford--------------------

----------------------Doran-------Oakley-----------------------------

the fact that Raven and Calder are on the bench says to me that we aren't going four at the back.

Don't have a very good feeling about this one tbh.

At least we're well practice in playing with 10....    disappointingly one of Vigurs yellow cards was for mouthing off which is infuriating.

1 - 0 up but down to 10 men

Why did Polworth & Vigurs get booked in the first place? BBC Live Text is its usual effusive self.

Polworth for the foul, Vigurs for mouthing off at the ref for said foul.

As I said on the Brechin thread, discipline seems to be a real problem for us this season. High time Robbo got it sorted before it costs us dearly.

Anyway, lets see if we can see this game through.

Think Vigurs unlucky to be sent off notwithstanding the stupid first yellow.  He tried an overhead kick in Livingston box and was booked for high feet/recklessness.

Scottish ref in bad decision shocker.

Vigurs and stupid yellows seem to go together like peas and carrots. He's learned nothing from St Mirren and has cost us again.

People wonder why Vigurs is given a hard time this is why he just cant keep his mouth shut always mouthing off at the Ref's time he got a bollocking from Robbo

Decent point I guess, but definitely sounds like we've cost ourselves 2 points.

Gripping stuff following that at work, I guess I would have taken the point given the sending off...if we could have just kept 11 on the park!

Still thinking we'll eventually get into the play-offs

Howling refereeing we lost two points to 14 men today absolutley raging at that referreing display.

I would agree discipline is a big problem of Caley at the moment to me if they can sort that out and get a real striker who can score goals often to me Caley could possibly make the play-off stages.
