Championship 2018/19

So now we know, four new teams in next year's league, with Partick Thistle joining County, Ayr and Alloa.

We are hopefully in good shape to get off to a fast start, as realistically eight teams will feel they are in contention to win the league: us, Partick, County, Dundee United, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Morton and Queen of the South.

On top of that, Ayr or Alloa could surprise some of those teams too.

It looks like it should be a competitive, interesting season.

I can't wait!

Different if he was sent on trial to Raith Rovers. I presume Hearts were interested and asked if he could go down for a week during the winter break. I see that as the club not standing in his way on

The Championship looks as if it's going to be a very competitive league next seaso. I think all teams will be able to beat any other team on their day, so it's crucial that ICT get off to a good start

  • It will be a tough league but if we can have a decent start ,unlike last season where we had a terrible run early season, then I can see us challenging for the title.

9 points from the first three games would be my initial wish - Falkirk away then Ayr and Alloa at the Dump. Very do-able ?

That final quarter run in just sums up what a difficult and competitive league this will be next season - away games at QotS, Partick, Ayr, Morton and Alloa with home games against County, Falkirk, the Arabs and Pars - if we are in a position to clinch the title on the last day of the season we will have done very well indeed!

Yes but if you can't dream at the beginning of the season when can you ?

I'll do my dreaming once we get the first quarter under our belt.

No more nightmares then ?

At home to Dunfermline on the last day of the season. Now wouldn't that be a nice way to clinch the title in front of six thousand fans in the May sunshine.

I'd much prefer to have won it before then if I'm being honest ?

Nah. Prefer a bit of drama and a helicopter arriving just like the game against St Johnstone when Robbo last led us to promotion.

we'll be adding them to our calendar here (so typing them in for everyone) and there is an 'events' feed you would be able to subscribe to.

I can only see 4 friendlies on the calendar. I take it they've still to be entered and not just me being thick ?

In fact, would it help if I entered them?

if you are volunteering .... no objections from me ! I have added them to our fixture list and had started adding them to the calendar but real life is busy ...

Maybe everybody should do this once just to let them see what a slog it is for you ?

Anyway that’s the fixtures in (sans mistakes insh allah) but missing a few venues, and no fancy photos like you did for the friendlies.

Going head to head with Coronation Street will only end in tears.

I'll toss the coin to see which one I'll watch live!!!
