As I think Manny is unavailable I will post the report here: Ok I have slept on it and my “report” will be more considered, less emotive but still very critical. I suspect that after savouring th

Oh, title long gone, Untied are over the hill and far away. Annoying thing today was Practical Bristle were quite clearly not very good but didn't need to be. And, aye, the triple sub; don't

Subs ?

Tremarco, White, Doran OFF

Harper, Toddy, Curry ON

3-1 to Patrick....... not a great day. If it wasn’t for Ridgers, we could have lost more ?

Partick 3-1

Partick are our bogey team. Massive 3 points lost today with results going against us

Can't believe jobby's lot beat us again!!  ????????

Heading hame freezing. Enough to say McCall's half-time talk was better than Robbo's.

Lets be honest who thought we would win that today ? I didn't as Partick are well and truly our bogey team but seriously when your chasing the game all 3 subs done on 85 minutes !! FFS!

Thought we were far the better team overall but defensively poor at crucial times. Also we just don’t have a goalscorer. White had a poor game but didn’t have much to work with. Robbo could have made subs earlier. 3-1 was an absolute travesty, don’t think partick could have complained if it was 2-2. Looked like we were the home team with partick hitting on the break. Sair Yin.

Agree with Mantis that 2-2 would have been a fair result based on pressure and possession. Plastic Whistle set out their store to park the bus, defend deep and in numbers. BUT we just did not have the guile or the finishing touch to punish them. We tried to play like Barcelona but ended up looking like a Sunday League team. That is not the tactics on a frckin freezing, gale force windy, pisssing rain, waterlogged playing surface day. And we NEVER used width or attacked the bye line. The only times that we looked like scoring was from dead balls hoofed into the goalmouth. And Ridgers made 4-5 excellent saves whereas Fox was rarely tested. At Alloa I discarded the Smileys as it was a 3-4 all round performance. I will refrain until the morning !! But put it like this my train has been delayed due to damage to overhead lined. I can be wholly assured that such damage could not have been inflicted by Jordan White but the replacement was as late as Robbo's substitutions.

We should probably be used to disappointment when playing Partick but they still hurt - hard to fathom why we seem to struggle against them so often. I've never been a great believer in bogey teams but they do seem to fit the bill.
