Oh no, I'm a feckless and a bigot! Hang on, it was said by a complete numpty so I don't need to worry. That is the worst statement or defence I have read in a long time. Can someone not call a vet and put them out of their misery?3 points

If there is one player we should be breaking the bank for it's little Jonny. He is our only flair player and the way forward in attack, therefore after letting Rossco slip away, we should be doing our utmost to hang onto Jonathon.2 points

I dont know the numbers for what he was offered or what he wanted - and in some ways I dont really want to as that is private - but I do not believe RT was 'greedy'. If he was a greedy player he would not have spent 16 years at one club.2 points

You think? It would be a nice one if they had acknowledged that Rangers had shafted all the other the SPL cubs for years and won leagues and trophies by cheating. If they had accepted that what happened was solely Rangers fault, and nobody else's, not ICT's or any other SPL club over the decade or so, then maybe the reaction would have been different...but the rank arrogance displayed by the majority of Rangers fans who are heard in the media and online makes me want to kick the crap out of them.....with specially engineered steel toe-capped boots. But they didn't....and it is reminiscent of the posts I have read on many forums from Rangers fans. It is everybody to blame but Rangers for their plight. All the rest of the SPL are vindictive, hate them, want to see them brought low because they are jealous of Ranger's success etc. They actually believe their own press as propounded by the Daily Ranger. Imo, if they could buy Bury, and bugger off into England, where they'd have gone, if wanted, years ago, without giving a toss about the "good" of Scottish football...they'd have been off so fast you'd not have seen them for superheated dust...and what price Scottish Football, the SPL and the SFA then? You know....that letter is exactly the reason that I, for one, would really like to see Rangers and their fans out of Scottish football forever....because they are an additional sodding embarrassment we really don't need when we already have an SFA who are as much good to Scottish football as a chocolate teapot on an open fire is to masking tea.2 points

The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American history. Who said 'Give me Liberty, or give me Death'?" She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Little Hodaiki a bright foreign exchange student from Japan, who had his hand up: 'Patrick Henry, 1775', he said. 'Very good!' Who said, 'Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?' Again, no response except from Little Hodaiki: 'Abraham Lincoln, 1863'. 'Excellent!' said the teacher continuing, 'let's try one a bit more difficult...' Who said, 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country?' Once again, Hodaiki's was the only hand in the air and he said: 'John F. Kennedy, 1961'. The teacher snapped at the class, 'Class, you should be ashamed of yourselves, Little Hodaiki isn't from this country and he knows more about our history than you do.' She heard a loud whisper: 'F . . k the Japs,' 'Who said that? I want to know right now!' she angrily demanded. Little Hodaiki put his hand up, 'General MacArthur, 1945.' At that point, a student in the back said, 'I'm gonna puke.' The teacher glared around and asks, 'All right! Now who said that!?' Again, Little Hodaiki said, 'George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991.' Now furious, another student yelled, 'Oh yeah? Suck this!' Little Hodaiki jumped out of his chair waving his hand and shouted to the teacher, 'Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!' Now with almost mob hysteria someone said, 'You little ****. If you say anything else, I'll kill you.' Little Hodaiki frantically yelled at the top of his voice, "Michael Jackson to the child witness testifying against him, 2004.' The teacher fainted. As the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said, 'that`s it, we're fecked!' Little Hodaiki said quietly, ‘Ally McCoist, 2012.2 points

And readers who don't know you know that how? The odd <sarcasm> or a would indicate a different meaning to your comment, and would make responses to it more appropriate. An exclamation mark indicates more surprise than disbelief, from the perception of someone who left school 46 years ago. Apologies if I have interpreted your post erroneously. As an aside.....what principles of the Olympic Flame? The principles which allow people guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs to compete in 2012? Can you explain the difference in mindset between those Olympic principles and the current Scottish Football debacle....one has let proven cheats, after minimal punishment, back in to prosper.......and the other is trying very hard to do the same.1 point

Wish I could suss how they arrive at their figures. TV monies and league sponsorship monies are in place for coming season. There has been no move to change any of that. They may lose out on a few bums on seats but so will every club. Fact is, and its a well known fact, that the people of Motherwell and indeed those who run the FC also have sympathies for the west of Glasgow and a tendency to join them in July festivities each year.1 point

So is it a message expressing an opinion based on incomplete evidence or is it a piece of information with a mixture of truth and untruth, passed around verbally ? I say tomato and you say tomatoe. Scotty - can we add a feckin Supposition Forum please :lol:1 point

Maybe they should do what some other clubs have to do and cut their cloth to fit. Move out high earners. We have to do it. Hearts are doing it. Maybe then we'll all get to a situation where all teams can compete on fairly even terms.1 point

McCabe is believed to be keen on a move to England - believed by who ? And how the feck can a mere rumour passed on to me by one of my "moles" be deemed to be a fishing trip ? What or who is ever going to be bothered about a rumour ? I am only responsible for what I say and write , not responsible for what you hear or interpret.1 point

Well if that is the case he could at least give the club the closure they need and state whether or not he is coming back and allow them to pursue other targets.1 point

It's fair on him though. He's entitled to get the right offer he feels he deserves and take his time with it.1 point

Karma's a b***h. After the way Rangers have behaved all these years they have no right to be surprised if other clubs are vindictive towards them.1 point

Beaver Song I’m a beaver, you’re a beaver, we are beavers all, And when we get together, we do the beaver call. Aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, Aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh, aruh. GO BEAVERS! GO BEAVERS!...1 point

'Nice one' was a sarcastic comment. We are witnessing the greatest fan pressure that I can recall towards an alienation that has had to be tolerated. I have posted elsewhere that all clubs should come out now and support the principles behind the Olympic Flame. Propaganda from Rangers Media is basically what was linked.1 point

Exactly, no player ever has, is, or will be bigger than this club, the sooner he announces he'll be leaving and stops treating us like dirt the better1 point

Is it only me, but I am sick and tired of the whole Hayes "where will he go " saga. I just wish he would make his mind up and feck off, wherever its to, if he doesn't want to stay with us.1 point

Kenny Gillet not likely to stay his missus is preggy and wants to move nearer if not to France, so only way he will be staying is if his hunt for a club down south is fruitless. We are also needing to replace Golobart, Williams Tokeley and Proctor, and there is no guarantee that Hogg will be fit and ready for the new season as he is only just starting to so very light training and muscle building. Hope these signing targets turn up next week or we are going to be a wafer thin squad.1 point

Open Letter from ICT Suppporters Trust to Kenny Shiels - http://ictsupporterstrust.co.uk/news/trust-news/241-open-letter-to-kenny-shiels1 point

These statements are always open to interpretation and reading between the lines. On this occasion you have come to the wrong conclusions. As Don has clarified the meeting was not a yes v no meeting, it was a discussion about both scenarios. It was a worthwhile meeting and I for one am very pleased that Kenny took the time to meet with us at such length. Right now he is busy working with Terry to put a team on the park and get us ready for the season ahead. The extra man hours this Rangers situation has caused him is incredible, but he still to the time to speak to us as he felt it was important to do so.1 point

Just wanted to make a point about the meeting between the Club Chairman and the Supporters Trust. It was not a meeting where we had the Supporters Trust on one side arguing for a "No" vote and Kenny Cameron on the other arguing for a "Yes" vote. It was one where we took all the information available and discussed how it fitted in to the overall picture and what the potential effects were of that within various scenarios. I can assure you that we are definitely not in an "us and them" situation. It is also not an argument pitting finances against sporting integrity, it's an argument about being in a situation whereby ICT (and others) can survive and give fans a club to support....get that wrong and nothing else matters. It's an impossible situation, but we also need to remember it is not a situation of our making. The blueprint for this disaster was put in place when the SPL was formed and so much power and influence was placed in the hands of just two clubs. I think I am right in saying that ICT and C*unty aside, all the other current SPL teams are founder members....take from that what you will, but when it comes to being pissed off and angry about this whole sorry mess then it is not ICT who deserve to carry the burden or the blame, yet here we are and we need to be careful of what we wish for.1 point

Well, hell...welcome to "The Neverending Story #4" http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4385444/These-guys-can-take-Rangers-forward.html OK.it's the Sun.....but even they couldn't make it up! Could they? JOHN BROWN needed only two words to sum up part one of his vision for Rangers to his £11million backers: Get Walter. Steve McKenna and Allan Stewart say they will today lodge their proof of funds with the Charles Green regime as their firm Aleftav bid to tempt the Yorkshireman into a deal. Legendary defender Brown, a hero to Ibrox fans throughout 278 appearances in a Light Blue jersey, will shrug off any fears over the business past of two friends he trusts implicitly. I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the Rangers fans.1 point
