  1. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inverness-offer-stars-new-deals-1424453 According to this we have offered 2 year deals to Andrew Shinne, Graeme Shinnie and Josh Meekings as well as trying to extend Roberts' loan. Great to see the club acting much earlier than normal to try and secure key players way before another club can pick them up on a pre-contract. Also good to see we are offering these guys 2 year deals. Well done ICT.

  2. but this is going to be a sell out, everyone will be spread out, this is the time where the club should be making a section reserved for those who want to STAND together and who do create an atmosphere.

  3. A more sensible question would be who's NOT going.

  4. Great news and shows some forward thinking, I said at the end of last season that this one would define TB as a manager and whether his reign would continue and finally we can see the rewards of everyones hard work as it was hairy for a wee while back there. It shows that the board are buying into his philosophy as I am sure they have been instrumental in the past with regards to what they can and can't offer him as a budget and by offering two year deals it gives us a great back bone to continue working with as opposed to uncertainty esepcially with the squad. It will be good for the boys to have the stability and for TB and MM to know who they have available to them without the worry of losing them on free transfers, it also means should the vultures start looming as inevitably they will we can actually demand good money from them rather than have them wait in the sidelines to pounce for nothing. Yes we have others that we need to secure on deals but I am sure it will come over time, if the boys sign extensions I am sure it'll spur on the rest to stay as well.

  7. With respect, "Forever in Our Shadow" has been used as a put down by countless other clubs over the years. I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments but it's not particularly original. It would be more amusing to plant said banner in the jailend and jupe the redneck farmhands into unfurling it themselves. I recall some wags at Man United did something similar at Liverpool a few years back. Something along these lines perhaps: "Banjo for Sale - Seldom Plucked (Contact RCFC for details)" "Let's Kick Ross-ism out of Football"

  9. When is Draper out of contract? IMO he has been just as impressive as Meekings and the Shinnies

  19. For me, it's not Scotland if the man in charge isn't Scottish, either by blood or by residence. It's a nation, not a club and the manager has to represent that. I don't know how countries get away with something so fundamental to international football. If England had won the World Cup under Capello, the glory would be in an Italian masterminding a victory. Scotland under a non-Scot means as much to me as supporting WBA as they have James Morrison, i.e. nothing.

  20. Wow! how the wind has changed. I used to read stuff like get new players in, get rid of so and so, bring back someone called Tokeley and Munro we cant do withiout them sack the manager. Nowit is refreshing to read things like We dont need any new signings, happy to keep, dont need any, Butcher should be manager of the month Aaahhh sublime .....contentment in the ranks at last...Long may it continue...........
