  1. To the person's who boo'd ICT player today you should be ashamed of yourselves ! A total disgrace & uncalled for ! What do you think that will do for a,players confidence ? ... Well done to the TRUE FANS who stood up & shut them down ,

  2. Unfortunately the said player would maybe have heard the boos but not the folk that supported him. I know you pay your money and all that but I would never boo one of our own personally. Team confidence needs building after the last few games and this will definately not help at all.

  4. Some people need reminding that ICT have been a revelation this season, they have played magnificently and so has the management. Still second in the league they have made a lot of people sit up and take notice. Rome wasn't built in a day neither is a football team, this side have been and still are on a learning curve that was obvious today by the nervousness in the front line and the many chances missed. They out played Celtic in many spells in the game and only apprehension stopped them from giving Celtic a real hiding, this can and will be overcome as the season progresses I feel certain of that. Just take a long look at the excellent football they were playing, it has got better and better each match. I for one was proud of the whole team, management again included. So we don't have our local lads playing all the time but come on, we are very much a premier league side striving for the top six and even the chance of playing in Europe so we need to fit the right blend into the side, not at all an easy task but one that is being undertaken by TB in a very professional and yes successfull way. We have lost some very important games, yes, disappointing yes but the rest of the season is equally important and ICT can recover from the results of these last few games and get back the winning form of the first half of the season. As for the boo boys all I can say is they haven't got the inteligence of brain damaged rats and know little about football. An angry bughtmaster

  7. Total disgrace. He is an overweight **** (in a red jacket today) and has been seen wearing stupid head gear which I gues is good to put his stupid head in A few of us gave him a shouting down. He only appeared this season (in that seat anyway) and has been shouting crap for some time. Seems to have a wee team of moronic pals who go along with his comments. I just hope the guys around him shout him down in future or he might find out what it feels like to be thrown from the top row....

  8. Sorry but we have been tactically sussed out - it was clear too many weeks ago - This has been a GOOD season but it is in danger of falling apart. We have ONE system - we are trying to put replacements in to that system who do not fit - we have not got anything other than Plan A - we are sticking to some players instead of looking at alternatives - we can not adjust to counter the formations and danger men of the opposition - we have become predictable to every other coach in the SPL. We are basically tactically inept.

  10. Like many dissapointed not to have taken a result today. For large chunks of the game we dominated posession but just couldnt turn into goals, Celtic on the other hand were clinical with their chances, apart from picking the ball out of his net Esson didnt really have a great deal to do. Foran was missed today. Aerially, defensively and as a team leader. Doran and Raven got some great crosses into the area but there was no one at the back post and they were easily dealt with, same problem with set pieces. Cant help but think McGeouch would have been marked tighter by Foran as well, he was given too much time on the ball and i think just as an overall presence on the pitch he was missed. There were some positives from the game. Thought Doran was acceptional and he certainly gave his best as did both Shinnies (even though Andy was about 30% fit) and Nick Ross who im glad to see back. Took his goal well and showed one or two moments of promise. Back to back defeats is a bit of a concern but we havent looked bad in the games we have played. Just need to get back to our clinical ways. Hopefully starting next Wednesday. Also agree with the criticism on Thomson. Some of his decisions were baffling today. Blatant bookings ignored, penalty shouts ignored and stopping play for Beram Kayal was ridiculous. There was nothing wrong with him.

  11. Yeah, but still in second place, which means we're doing better than every other team in the league bar the millionaires. That's better than teams that are spending massively more than us. We lost to Celtic - a team that cost millions to assemble, a team in which probably every single player has more talent that his opposite number - and I'm taking into account the reserve nature. Our nearest rivals are losing 2-0 to Kilmarnock. Still reasons to be optimistic here.

  12. Agree with the above about the Ref. Craig Thomson was abysmal. Definitely missed Foran today but i thought Draper and Doran were excellent.

  13. Yip - results going our way - 3pts in the next game though are critical to get us back on track in the run up to the split

  14. 3-1 to Celtic is not a fair reflection of the game. A draw would have been a much fairer result. Our team played some good stuff but didn't get the breaks while Celtic did. There were a lot of good performances - Aaron Doran in particular. The real disappointment for me was the size of the home support (especially after deducting out the Celtic and County fans from the North and Main Stands). The size of our support was pathetic!! This was our first ever top-of-the-table clash - with probably our best ever team - and the size of our support was pitiful. Fair play to those who made the effort to be there - especially those in wheelchairs and their carers. For those who could have been there, who live locally, who were physically able and could afford admission - but chose rather to watch the game on TV - shame on you!!!

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.
