  1. It was a clear red card. A kick out against an opponent, lightweight or not, is still violent conduct. Brown was going to be booked until the referee saw the wee kick he had at Neymar. Yes the Brazilian over reacted but that doesn't disguise the fact that it was a red card offence and Brown was rightly ordered off.
  2. Tuned into Radio Scotland for the slot usually occupied by Sportsound and caught the Scott Brown show. Listened to the end but there was no indication whether it was a one off or whether it will become a regular Wednesday feature.
  3. Agree that it was a red card. Remember the card was not for the original tackle but for the sneaky cynical wee kick he had at the player while he was on the ground. It is not relevant that the kick was a light one or that Neymar made the most of it, it was violent conduct and left the referee with little option. For Celtic's captain and most experienced player to be so irresponsible at a time when eleven man Celtic were doing such a decent job in frustrating and containing their illustrious opponents ought to result in his manager being furious not with the officials but with the players but I had an idea how he would react as Lennon, himself, was precisely that sort of player. The bottom line is that Brown, as club captain, let himself down, let his fellow players down and let the fans down by his actions and Lennon has as well by his entirely predictable reaction.
  4. Believe this--I had a mini dream the other night of Caley Thistle being in the Champions League.
  5. Packed lunches required - vodka filled oranges and a sandwich full of miniatures and hidden with lettuce ?
  6. It was a straight red. Doesn,t matter about Naymar's reaction. Brown was an absolute idiot, and got caught doing what he habitually does week in week out. As for Neymar, and this agruement about a tap, or minimal contact, or no contact, or he was just running in his usual stride (haha),when Neymar is initially fouled, he slides quite a distance, 3 or 4 strides for Brown to get to him. He is sliding away from Brown in a different direction as he was going across Brown's path, and continues to slide facing the Celtic goal, not looking at Brown. Somehow Brown has turned to follow his slide, knows the whistle has gone, yet makes sure he runs into Naymar's path, and lifts his foot higher to make contact. Naymar did not know where he was, as he was facing the opposite direction, yet he immediately reacted to hold the part of his back that Brown appeared to kick going by the TV cameras. Strange he would know he had been kicked there if there was no contact! Brown was an absolute disgrace and idiot for letting Celtic down, as he does not need to do that. As for Lennon defending his actions and slagging off an opponent, he should be charged by UEFA. As you mention in the first place, many off us were at Pittodrie on sunny day, when Neil Lennon did the same thing when there was no contact, and no attempt of contact. Feel like taking over the BBC and reminding Lennon of his own over reacrtions (cheating) back then. And why oh why do the interviewers afterwards never call it straight and go for the jugular. How can you justify defending your player after such a blatantly stupid action that probably cost you the chance of another massive result. What TV pictures did you watch that no one else has seen, as everyone else watching saw the kick! they have no guts to ask the questions
  7. No. Just thought someone from the club would have posted a comment for all to see.
  8. I'd just like to add that in case of violent conduct like with some other offences the attempt is enough for punishment, in this case a red card. From the TV pictures it looked like more than an attempt.
  9. 1-0 to us at the moment as far as I can gather. Devine scoring after 13 mins. Game at East End Park. ICT team v DAFC: R Esson, J Cheyne, M Cooper, D Devine, J Gorman, D Williams, A Sutherland, C Pepper, A Evans, R Christie, M Watkins 2-0 up corner knocked in at the back post by Marley Watkins! 3-0 great attacking move and finished by Ferguson Full Time 0-3 for Inverness
  10. How dare you speak about the S.P, like that. IHE?

Yeah great news - the wee ******* has stolen ma feckin room.
  12. I wouldn't mind if it were Septic either...
  13. CapitalCaley and I have been saying lately (over a pint of course!) that we think we are very soon going to give some team a proper, embarrassing, kicking. A real scoreline that won't be forgotten in a hurry. If Billy finally converts all the chances he gets, or even 50% of them that could quite easily happen. (please let it be C*unty, please let it be C*unty, please...)

I've looked through the previous seasons results and indeed, you're right - it's the first time we've won 4 home games in a row! (in the top tier). I was pleasantly surprised that we'd won 3 in a row on a number of occasions. But never 4! Looking back, our best run of top flight results at home was probably this: December 2006 - Inverness 2-1 Rangers (last gasp goal from Rankin eluded Alan McGregor - great Xmas present!) January 2007 - Inverness 2-1 St. Mirren (Bayne and Wyness notch for us) January 2007 - Inverness 3-0 Hibernian (I remember being hung-over at this in the North stand...might have been a Sunday game!) January 2007 - Inverness 1-2 Celtic (venegoor of Hesselink grabbed a last minute winner as Celtic rob us!) March 2007 Inverness 1-0 Dundee United (Barry Wilson goal) Great memories typing that but we're even better placed now!
  15. The way things are going at present we could even get international media acclaim by the end of the season. We are forcing these so called pundits to talk about us and the words from them are just beginning to sound a little less patronising. Fear is creeping into their realisation that the south and the OF is no longer monopolising the Scottish game, something confusing is coming into their lives. Something called Inverness Caledonian Thistle is becoming a threat and a force to be reckoned with. How on earth are they going to cope with such a tragedy??????
  16. He actually, allegedly, said "I want to Rob-'earts of their place in final, the cheatin feckers" and the rest is history, allegedly.
  17. Just seen the highlights on the Beeb online...Billy's 2nd goal was a cracker, good to hear Greenhalgh had a decent run out, we need plenty of players to step up to the mark over a long season. My gut feeling is that Vincent has been a great addition... He seems to sit in Tudor Jones position but has better distribution?
  18. Just saw the highlights. From the position of Raven's head and the direction he looked his header to Brill was absolutely intentional
  19. I'm in, (pending permission from the boss aka the wife)
