  1. I'm going to break my own rule and comment straight after I have returned from the match but not about the game but about some of our so called "supporters". I sit in the main stand and have, for the first time ever, turned on a man and woman who were supposed to be ICT fans. My wife was applauding the team off the pitch and these people asked "How can she clap that p!sh and the team are a disgrace." He got it with both barrels and was told in no uncertain terms that I'd rather see us in an empty stadium than have his so called support. People have the right to be disappointed but should not have a go at fans supporting the team. We have driven about a thousand miles in the last fortnight supporting the team ( my wife was the lady on Sportscene before the Stranraer game) and if this is the kind of idiot who are coming to games I for one don't want them. Rant over.

And what was wrong with his performance today? Picked the right team, they were creating countless chances and, on another day, would gave had 3/4 goals. Can't blame Yogi for this one in my view.
  3. very happy with this deal .... from the article ... waves at Terry ..... oops, wrong smiley

Nothing wrong with the style of football or the team selection today. If that's what is to come with Hughes, I'll not be complaining. The guys really had no luck today in front of goal - frustrating as it was, it is hard to find anything to moan about....except failing to get the ball over the line!
  5. Disappointing result, but I've never seen such a 0-0 thrashing! Nothing wrong with the style of football: sometimes it's not your day: 5 off the woodwork and 2 off the line. I'd be more worried if we'd not created.
  6. They had the official cup final scarf above the bar today but it wasn't for sale yet which I thought was very odd. The guy selling the unofficial stuff outside must have been delighted.
  7. A good performance just needed a wee break early in the game. Would like to see Hughes change things earlier in games like this instead of having endless tactical discussions with Latapy. Liked the 'get your cup final scarves' stand outside the ground before kick off.
  8. http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/1202-vincents-new-deal Great news!
  9. With us only having one home game before cup there's not much chance to buy flags, scarves and so on to take to cup final, to make some money would/could club have stall in city centre in build up to game or if a train is put on for supporters, a stall in the station before it sets off in the morning and club shop open for an hour before supporters buses leave. Just an idea, I think a lot would be sold.
  10. Absolutely! me and my pal were talking about this before kick off, opportunity missed
  11. Excellent news, backed up by a tremendous performance today Now Draper.....
  12. 2 wins in 10 in the league for Yogi. Must do better
  13. All fart nae sh*te by the sounds of it.....
  14. Come on, 20 minutes to get a goal or two, otherwise that's just 1 win in 10 matches.
  15. If its just a digital image I quite like the idea of having the semi final heroes in the flag.
  16. How exactly do you "ping" an email?

Not a Lois Lane moment? From what I remember, Superman's girlfriend was always knocking herself out. Must have had severe brain-damage in the end.

I'm not a fan of Yogi, I don't think it was a good appointment and I'm very skeptical that he'll prove a success in the long term. BUT I think our form would've dipped even if we'd appointed a new manager or if Butcher had stayed. We have a very small squad and our start to the season was probably the best we could possibly have hoped for - all our players were fit, in form and new signings slotted together brilliantly. However, when you strip away a few of our experienced players we are relying on players playing out of position (Danny Williams in central midfield) or young lads who lack experience (Polworth from the start, Christie, Evans etc on the bench). There are some things I think Hughes could do better (we've dominated possession in quite a few games under Hughes but can't seem to turn that into goals, we need to play further up the park and be purposefully direct) but I doubt he's come in and destroyed our season. Yet.
