  1. Negative no ! We have a higher mountain to climb than last season with this pile up of games but this time we have a leader who is shrewd, supportive and a lot more clever than some people have given him credit for. Underneath his modest façade he is easily as good as any other manager in the SPFL if not the best. Given time he will be the best. The wonderful thing about the ICT set up is the fact that we have a very enlightened Chairman, excellent board, a football wise Manager, great backroom staff, a highly talented squad of footballers all gelling and working together. to say nothing of the loyal core support assistance and CJT..........all on a very tight budget..............It is no wonder that we are the envy of the Lowlands and why the pundits are very cagey about us. They cannot understand our story.
  2. Highlight of the day so far has been Robbo just saying 'Derek Adams is an absolute fruitcake at times' on open all mics.
  3. I think if we were 1 point behind he would still be saying the same and quite rightly so. Let the Gothenburg greats take the flack, a lot is expected of them this year, including catching Celtic
  4. I agree with Hughes completely. It's a very realistic statement, considering our fixture pileup. I remember Craig Levein saying that every game in the Scotland qualifiers recently is winnable. That went well... I would be delighted if we got anywhere near Aberdeen by the end of the season but if we can cement our top six placement in the next few weeks and take a further step forward in either/both cup games it'll be a brilliant season
  5. FULL TIME! Important win for us today. Level on points with Dundee Utd with a couple of games in hand and with Motherwell losing last night and Aberdeen looking like they have lost today we gain points on both of them. YESSS!
  6. our supporters branch (hibs, in east end of Edinburgh) have had 4 buses to each final, in the last 2 years. we had to source them from Renfrew, to get decent prices. the fact that we wanted 4, as apposed to 1, gave us a bargaining point to keep the prices decent. if a couple of your branches/supporters groups club together, I'm sure bus companies north and a little bit south of you would give a decent price, if you book several from them.. others do try and rip people off though.
  7. I'm really not sure. Maybe before the Dundee United cup game, or right before the split starts, just anything that would give us better preparation for the final really What better preparation for the final than a training session against Hibs.
  8. STATEMENT REGARDING BUS CAPACITY FOR LEAGUE CUP FINAL The Caley Jags Together board will be having an emergency meeting tomorrow afternoon to discuss this issue and look at all the options available. Further information on this will follow the meeting tomorrow. We would like to remind people if they are interested in travelling by bus to put their names (adult/child) and a contact number on the waiting list ASAP by emailing [email protected] Train reservations continue to be taken by texting the travel number on 07951 309 504 or emailing on [email protected] (this email is different than the bus one). Adults £30, U16s £10 Many Thanks.
  9. We have been moved from the main stand and now have the bottom tier behind the goals in the Lisbon lions stand :-)
  10. Mind games? John Hughes? Aye all right then
  11. It's all a game. Look at Jose: Man City playing worst Barcelona team in years; Liverpool to win the league; Wenger specialist in failure. JH may not be JM, but there is no way he'll be saying the same to the lads behind the scenes....
  12. great win for ICT. warren led the line at the back very well and more than coped when iwelmisso came on. team ground out a win and at the end of the day 3pts is what we wanted and what we got.
  13. Great result this- making up ground on Motherwell and Aberdeen and keeping European place still in sight if we can hold our nerve.
  14. Just a wonderful result. Perth is not a happy hunting ground for us so this was a BIG three points. I don't know how the game was won but won it was, so just MAGIC!!
  15. Excellent result happy with that. 3 points and a clean sheet.
  16. Three points well done ICT
  17. what a joke that we have to play a midweek game before arguably the biggest game in our clubs history, another disgraceful decision by the sfa, also te highland derby game has been moved, there are now none this season (if we don't finish the same side of the split) on a saturday at 3pm
  18. 1 point
He's got 5 stars on his - that means he's allowed to do the burgers AND the milkshakes as well as the fries.
  19. Does watching game in the messroom of ship, in the Norwegian Sector of North Sea count as abroad ?
  20. Yogi's influence is amazing. He gets Inverness relegated, we downsize, then come back stronger and more determined, encourage Butcher, Malpass and Tubby to exit, Yogi re-emerges with Russell, and as part of a big all round team effort, takes us to a cup final. In addition he shows enormous respect to Stranraer when Brewster and Butcher would have bodged it, and we then secure another windfall against Dundee United. Credit also the the unsung heroes in the back office up to chairman for their dedication, and even Tommy for preparing the Tuesday pitch ready for practice in case Dingwall becomes a sandpit again next Tuesday. Now we need to overcome our recent poor form in Perth and see what happens next.
  21. Just to make sure we didn't fall foul of any rules, I ran the designs past the SPFL and they've come back with a few alterations that need us to make....
  22. I don't entertain this lack of buses rubbish, if the demand is there buses from all around Scotland can be called on if needed Any smaller club that reaches a final would have to go to more than one bus company and would have to look a lot further than their local outfit Funny how Inverness Reds have managed to source a number of buses going by their website Dougal
