  2. Someone with a north accent was on BBC Scotland this evening, he had asked for discount on 25 tickets for the game today for his young football team who were playing in Inverness this morning. The club gave them free tickets! A good gesture
  3. Sergio Mckay and Diego Watkins the dynamic duo. Great team performance. Hamilton are a very good team with three of the league's leading goalscorers at present. Motherwell will be a massive game especially if Aberdeen contain Celtic today. If only more people realised what class football is now being served up here on our doorstep....and over the bridge! In the next week, let's hope Billy gets a chance to register his first international goal and possibly see Shinnie and Watkins get closer to international call ups.
  4. And, I believe, the first time in just over 3 years that we've won a league game after conceding the first goal. The curse is broken!
  5. Another tactical masterclass from Big Yogi and the Team. This has to be some of the most intelligent football ever played by Caley Thistle. Hamilton got the better start, but it didn't take long for us to re-assert ourselves and it was no looking back from then on. Hamilton came to realise early in the second half that they were struggling to cope with what was being thrown at them and, sadly, resorted to dragging our players down...and even holding them down...all over the pitch. Watkins' showed just how strong he can be on the ball, yet again, and given the "attention" he was getting at times I imagine he'll wake up a bit sore and with a bruise or two in the morning. Delighted for Billy as well. Second goal was laid out on a plate, but the first goal he can take plenty of credit for as he still had a bit of work to do on receiving the ball. I don't buy into the theory that his confidence was low, but it'll be great for his spirit to have bagged a brace and hopefully it marks a wee turn in fortune for him. The most exciting thing is.....I still don't believe we've seen the full potential of this squad. They seem to be learning and improving all the time....and long may that continue. Be interesting to see if the SFA take any action against Jason Scotland for his off-the-ball elbow on Gary Warren....which was caught clearly on camera. Bit of a precedent set with the Goodwin incident last week. (P.S. It's Mckay....small "k")
  6. People are frustrated by the inconsistency. That's why there are so many negative comments about his performance I suspect.
  7. There's a happy medium and Collum hasn't found it.
  8. A couple of weeks ago we were all moaning about him giving out too many cards. Now people are complaining that he isn't giving out enough. A tad harsh. I prefer the way he handled things today. Made for a much more fluent, hard fought, high tempo game. Have given Collum pelters in the past, but credit where credit's due. Big improvement.

  10. Just waiting on the paperwork coming back for my new number plate....
  11. Still savouring this great win today. The whole team performed well and the passing and movement was first class. So pleased for Mckay to get back in the goals.
  12. I Know it's a small K, but if it pi55e5 people off, then I will still enjoy typing it, it's all in the Knowledge
  13. Great game to watch, great players, great performance against a good team, well done.
  14. Well Done to the lads (and management). Another excellent result. There must be loads of humble pie being consumed in Inverness these days?
  15. Billy could easily go on a goal scoring run. A quick second half hat trick against Hamilton would get him going again after his solitary SPFL goal against them in the opening game.
