From an outsiders point of view it seems a shame that so much bickering is going on. Can we not come together have a meeting sort out the ground rules and try and move on. At least the football is better to watch which to me is the main concern. I know this might be a simplistic point of view but it would seem more complicated to work out than brexit or who poisoned who its football, jackets for goals and off we go. Another 3 points to night is my concern

These are my personal comments. I've stated this before....but this is not, and should not be or become, a witch hunt. There are people on the CJT board who have skill sets, knowledge and energy which are of value to the society. The call for everyone to step down and a new election is not to get rid of all these people, it's to ensure that everyone on the board is properly elected/appointed and the members get a rightful say in who they want to stay/go/add. Only once that has been done can they look to dealing with any other matters which are there; or may arise as things are brought back on track.

Very disappointing that Morton get a 94th minute winner whilst Utd, after being sh1te for 2 months, suddenly beat the runaway league leaders. Still, all can do is win our own games, and 3 in a row makes this our best run of the season.

I find this all so very sad that friends with common interests and goals should fall out in this way. Unfortunately, rules are rules, and when it comes to company law there can be no grey areas. I just hope this can all be sorted out soon and amicably to the benefit of all concerned and the club in general.

On or off? Search me! Where is it recorded? See CaleyD's post around 11am today. He quotes an email from the board stating that it is "impossible" to hold the meeting within the 28 days. April 18 is 26 clear days on from the original requisition, but only 13 after the day of notice. Farce? That's what I've been trying to say at least since the existence of an anonymous board was posted here on Feb 27 - but this reality check is dismissed by some as unduly harsh on the board members! And in that last connection, I should perhaps add that if their backsides hadn't been held to the fire from the start..... we still wouldn't even know who they are!!

Not his biggest fan but Mulraney changed the game when he came on along with Doran. Suddenly we actually had some width in the side and a bit of pace as well and we tried to get some crosses into the box for Oakley to attack rather than lumping long balls over the Falkirk defence. Looked like an error from Hazard who seemed to let the ball squirm under him when he dived to save it. Still, we'll take it. Smashing save from Ridgers at the end to deny some Falkirk player an equaliser.

A super goal from Mulraney and his fantastic pace was causing Falkirk big problems. Well done to the whole team for getting the job done and in also Ridgers had a wonder save to keep us in front.

Not going to worry about the other teams results much tonight. Another great win for us and what a fine run we are on. The Dumbarton double header is up next and these two games are simply massive. They seemed to have pulled their finger out lately and we will have to be at our best to get points. I hate double header games but if we manage to pick up results against them I don't think there will be enough Guinness in Inverness for when i come over next weekend

Fantastic win! We are obviously looking up now anyway but tonight we are numerically safe from the relegation play-off spot!

It's very reminiscent of the 2003/2004 run in to promotion - Robbo had a great squad for that push and their team spirit helped them enormously. The Irn-Bru cup win seems to have helped gel this squad together, they have shown they've got the ability and although it's a tough task (and most likely a forlorn hope) I wouldn't bet against Robbo pulling off an unbeaten run for a 4th place finish. Given the toughness of this league though, others will drop points along the way so we may not need to win them all to do it. Whatever happens, after where we were back at the start of October, I'm just delighted to see us in a position where it's still possible and we're the masters of our own destiny - go fer it!

I've had a response in relation to the EGM dated 18th April 2018 as follows... Following the objection the meeting is unable to proceed as planned on the 18th and will be rescheduled. We are continuing to work with Supporters Direct and have a board meeting on Thursday so we will respond fully following the meeting. I thought it might be useful to let people know ?

Yes...I was thinking only the other day, watching the latest highlights, how important to us Polworths' efforts are, and how clever he is. Being in the centre of midfield he is bound to get caught up in the odd mistake/loss of the ball. May be not quite as eye-catching as Ryan Christie was but becoming as much or more influential. (I guess RC has a 'special' status, because of his dad) We tend to rave over Daniel Mackay, but also forget that Polworth is also 'one of our own', and really starting to develop. Overall we absolutely must ensure we keep one or both of Polworth/Vigurs next year, preferably both as they make a great pairing in the middle.

In the last few years one thing that’s become quite prevalent is that we seem to have a significant proportion of fans who are desperate for players to fail almost instantly. Polworth, Vigurs, Wedderburn and Tremarco come to mind.

Super win....it helps that we actually have a plan B (and I guess Connor Bell gives us a plan C). Another clean sheet, and just the one booking! And now completely safe from any relegation play-off anxiety. Now comes the two leg battle with Dumbarton, I'll take two narrow 1-0 wins to set up a helluva game against Dunfermline. Whatever happens now we need to keep going with a great run in to emulate what St Mirren did last season and set us up for next.

Would it at all help if someone would say volunteer as if you like a helper for the current Chairperson and Directors since if that's all is needed I could go to Inverness for a few days a week?

Two very difficult games coming up against a resilient Dumbarton team fighting to avoid the play off place. If, and it remains a big If, we can win both of those we can then seriously think of making the play offs but whatever happens now we have demonstrated that, if we avoid the errors we have made this season, we are very well placed to make a real push for it next year.

In some ways, Polwoth is a victim of his own work rate and ambition. His work rate is phenomenal and whilst he is not a great ball winner he chases people down at great speed and is then always looking for the ball and to drive the game forward. The thing is that his mistakes are much more visible than other players both because he gets so much of the ball and because he tries to be more ambitious with it. When his ambition fails we get groans from the stands and it is clear that it is Polworth who has played the ball and it is Polworth who gets the blame. Fans tend not to notice that the failure of the pass to find its target might have been a well anticipated interception by a defender or a failure of a team mate to read the pass. And then when the pass does find it's target and it results in a goal, we all celebrate the scorer and we don't stop and think who played him in or set up the move in the first place. In other words, people notice it much more when what he does goes wrong than when it goes right. The fact is, we're a much better side with Polworth in it. Vigurs is a very different player and it is not really fair to compare the two. Personally I think Vigurs is the more influential player but if we could only retain one of them, I would go for Polworth. It's hard to believe, but the lad's still only 23 and has the potential to be a key player for us for years to come - or the source of substantial transfer income with the right contract.

First things first. It's as well we are on a good run at the moment, not so much from a possible top four position but because of the recent form of Falkirk and Dumbarton. Both have taken 9 points from their last 6 games and without our recent run our next three games against these two sides would be taking on a very different significance. As it is, if we beat Falkirk tonight and Dumbarton fail to beat Morton, then we will be mathematically safe from the relegation play off. That should be a good motivator. And even if we lose to Falkirk, victory against Dumbarton on Saturday would seal their fate. We tend to do better when we are the underdogs, and the final down in Perth showed just what a hard side Dumbarton can be to break down. If we are to have any chance of getting up to 4th, it will be essential not to underestimate the the opposition in our next 3 games.

You see it is that sort of mindless end statement that is annoying so many people. Davie, Caley D and others are sticking to rules and laws and avoiding needless personal digs. You may have missed that a couple of prominent CJT members have experienced significant personal tragedy and trauma recently and if there is an erase to be stuck in a Feckin fire it is anybody's who has to depend on personal insults .

I felt the 4-4-2 diamond we played on Saturday suited us quite well. One thing that has struck in recent weeks is how much solider a unit we look without Mulraney. While he may have pace to burn, others like Doran and Calder offer far more. We don’t have the squad to carry a passenger who looks decent once in a while.

Given the sad and sorry state of affairs that has been revealed over the recent history of CJT, I would have though it is more productive to encourage this meeting to take place, perhaps just by moving the date two or three weeks later. By continually harrying and decrying whoever is currently on the board, whatever their competency or lack of, doesn't really progress anything. If they are out of their depth, as they appear to be, then they could probably do with a bit of help and encouragement, so the whole thing can get sorted.
