  1. I'm pretty sure we've been getting told the North and South stand transfer is 'nearly complete' for about 2 years now.
  2. Press releases are typically not private! I also never said it was mutual consent. if you read my post you will see I said that phrases such as 'mutual consent' or 'immediate effect' make people wonder ... If we want to go one step further, I would be happy to be proved wrong and eat humble pie but I also don't agree with IHE's assertion that the goal was reached. If he was tasked with guiding the stadium transfer, a process that is not yet complete, then its certainly not job done and one of the lead people resigning before it is complete raises more questions than it answers. As a supporter of the club and a shareholder of the company, that concerns me.
  3. Robbo mentioned it in his post match interview on cjtv. Coll out for 4 weeks. Walsh 6. Two key players. Hopefully we can strengthen with a couple of quality loan signings to keep us going til the end of the season.
  4. Especially with the red diesel ?
  5. I suspect that there will be more to emerge here.
  6. Going to be tough with Coll & Walsh out injured arguably our best players this season and looking like nobody coming in but Cup games have a habit of making surprises so bring it on i do hope it is on TV to make a wee bit money
  7. Hopefully have a new face up top for this 1 if not probs be much the same as last game plenty possession no cutting edge! Would've rathered Auchinleck tbh still could've been a lot worse least wev a chance eh!
  8. Well I for one can't wait, whether it be picked for tv or not a game against our biggest rivals and a derby in the cup is something to look forward to, get excited about and dream of dumping them out. Regardless of how we are playing or they are playing we should all go into this game with optimism and hope.
  9. Easy win really. Thought White had his best game for us. Okay it was against some lowland side but his link up play was good (something I think he's been pretty poor at despite his good return of goals) as he often brought team mates into the game with some nice lay offs. Oakley started brightly but faded as the game went on. Thought Doran had a good game as did Chalmers in the middle. Whilst we had clearly decided not to try that hard after going 3 - 0 up I was surprised we didn't try for more goals and give the team a real boost going into an important few weeks for the club. Maybe I am being too harsh but I was disappointed that we seemed to shut down for most of the second half letting EK have a lot of the ball and create a couple of decent chances for themselves. They were also quite unlucky not to be awarded a penalty after a reckless challenge by Rooney. Disappointing cameo from Austin. He was the opposite of White as he struggled to form any kind of link with the rest of the side and chances often broke down when he got the ball. The chance he spurned from a Doran cross was appalling although the incredible miss from Mckay earlier was even worse.
  10. There's literally no chance East Fife v Partick gets a tv slot. If the highland derby dosent make one of the BBC games I'll eat Alan Simpson's regurgitated toe nail. Us and them are far bigger than East Fife and at least as big as fecking Partick. Just hope it dosent stop the caravan park from being full for the gate receipts cumin our way
  11. Some negative comments on here from the odd person/fan. Look on the bright side chums. This could be a cracker of a match. If it is not on the telly then it will be their loss not ours.-- our real fans will be at the game. If we want to go much further in the tourney then we have to beat them somewhere along the line. Look on the bright side.... this is going to be our day and a big win from our team of young lads who are playing well with good ball possession and passing.
  12. Keeper had probably another four very good saves , totally agree Kingsmills that was a very professional performance yesterday. Great attitude from all the players imo.
  13. If the tie bores you then simply ignore it.
  14. Guy behind me yesterday kept moaning we were shocking all through 2nd half! Im convinced there is no pleasing some of our fans
  15. Had a great day out yesterday. Doran was a good pick for MOTM well deserved he played well and could/should have had more. Fair play to Kilbride they kept plugging away even after the game more or less being over after half an hour, their keeper also pulled off some cracking saves. Hopefully we get a decent draw later and can get ourselves into the next round
  16. No words required!..........
  17. For me it has to be the moment David Raven scored the screamer against Celtic in the semi final, pure joy
  18. His relationship with McGregor was the problem, money was the excuse.
  19. Cheap shot, nothing wrong with White's scoring record at any of his professional clubs including ours, he's not van Basten but we are not Milan. Give the guy a break.
  20. Robbo is not the problem - it's the lack of funds!
  21. Just like your arrogance in assuming that is what SP meant in his post which, given the nature of his previous posts is highly unlikely. There really was no need to red dot the original poster in my opinion.
