  1. Yes. A bit of honesty and openness by both club and SPFL wouldnt go amiss...
  2. Does it matter? A proper apology wouldnt go amiss? Been a disaster every game, ironically, apart from the first one! If all season ticket holders were blocked thats a disgrace and we deserve an explanation. Ignoring all the issues just making folk more frustrated.
  3. Our highlights are up now: What a touch and run by Kennedy at 5:08.
  4. I have had a reply at 1341 from Luca Rossi, copied time Keith Haggart. As he seems to take an interest, in case anyone needs it, his e-mail is [email protected]. His reply read: Hi Robert Hope you are well. I an aware of the ‘genetic error’ message that seemed to appear for a large number of fans yesterday. I am currently working with our technology partner, StreamAMG, to get to the bottom of what happened. It is extremely frustrating as despite testing going well throughout the week the issue only became apparent slightly before kick off. This is completely unacceptable and I apologise unreservedly for the exasperation caused yesterday. I appreciate this doesn’t solve the matter, but rest assured we are working with partners to get to the bottom of the issue and improve the product going forward based on feedback received. On your point re the AI ball tracking technology failing, this was of course a big issue via another partner involved (Pixellot) and we have rectified it by having a camera operator employed for each match. Myself / the club will be back in touch within the next few days to alert fans of the steps taken to make amends for yesterday’s events following a full de-brief with the stakeholders involved. The fans you mentioned who have paid PPV on top of their season ticket will of course be reimbursed. Thanks, enjoy the rest of your weekend. Luca.
  5. And maybe communicate with us their customers as to what happened and how to prevent in future.
  6. I was in the e-mail header to get the 1613 time. My reference to 1616 and yesterday was what the e-mail listing was showing In my in box yesterday and now today. So, yes, I know 1613 is the time they sent it and the SPFL cannot deny that or try a smokescreen. That said, I agree with your final sentence about not discussing further how e-mails are laid out, but will share any response I get to the e-mail I sent them last night, as we have a right to know what went wrong, how it happened and what has been done to avoid a repeat for us or any other club. I copied the club in on it and really hope they are following it up strongly with the SPFL for us all.
  7. Looks like somebody f@#ked up, pure & simple...the discriminatory nature of the failure suggests a targeted denial of service , ie season ticket holders losing access. Nothing to do with servers.
  8. not missed it yet 🙂 .. looks like folks are still up for it so will create the thread and sponsorship product next week.
  9. That was my first thought but I wonder if some in junk mail unread or were allocated to older fans who havent checked their email? A reply system would help or why not ask ST holders to apply for that game and ballot them? At least club know they all want to and are able to attend.
  10. Think the 300 allowed was dictated by SPFL and Govt.
  11. We most definately need to enquire those who set the fan allocation if we can get an increase in capacity. Watching the highlight reel, it seems it was only the seating sections of E, R, and N in the South Stand that were occupied (couldn't see the North Stand), and there was literally acres that could fit at least a couple hundred more in while still being safely spread out.
  12. I keep that for special occasions 🙂 We flew back to Canada from Aberdeen on our last visit and had to make a few stops in Speyside on the way to our hotel in Dyce the day before. The Winter Storm and another bottle we picked up havent been opened yet. Got a nice Highland Park waiting to be cracked open too. Glendalough was nice ... also partial to Canadian Forty Creek ... but a wee peedie of Highland Park is the best 🙂
  13. If 'off topic" is good enough for the site owner... 😇 Glendalough- that'll be the Glen with the two lochs then... Redbreast is another really nice one but it seems to have soared in price as it's become popular. I was at Bushmills on a bike many moons ago. I had a tasting along with a coach load of young Merkins who weren't really that interested, so there was loads left at the end. Ever tried cycling 10 miles pished?
  14. Not sure if you folks are actually checking the email headers. It's not the time displayed in your inbox - it's part of the actual email but you don't normally see it, and as such it won't change from 1613 or 1616 to "yesterday". Not worth wasting more time on!
  15. I honestly cannot think that anyone would believe that the product has truly been "transformed" since the first couple of games. That the camera is controlled manually and no longer follows a bald linesman or focuses on another ball at the side of the pitch is the bare minimum we should be getting. I suppose given the low bar that was set during the first game and what we get now you could argue the change is transformative. Whilst this fault lies with the SPFL the fact is we are completely reliant on their system for streaming games. If the system is shown to be unreliable, misses goals, is poor quality (all of which have been the case in the 4 games played at TCS this season) fans will simply not take the risk and fork out cash for a product they don't know will actually be delivered. ICT are getting tarnished by their association to this rotten setup. If you had read this was the experience at Alloa or Dundee would you be happy chucking them £10 no questions asked?
  16. Apparently you are wrong and it's us silly Highlanders at fault and not the providers as per the response sent out... The email was sent at 3.25 one it was apparent the issue wasn’t easily fixed, it must have taken some time to get to some inboxes due to the number of recipients Thanks Luca Seriously, for a company providing an online service to try to bluff us into believing that the number of email recipients has any impact on the time taken for an email to be received is one of the most insulting things I've heard this year (leaving all political discussions aside!). So because there are about 1000 season ticket holders to notify and because we stay way up north we're meant to accept this? Incidentally everyone else I know who submitted similar complaint was told 3.15 and not 3.25. And personally I don't think it's at all acceptable anyway to wait 25 mins into a 90 min event before telling your customers to try another method. If our club don't distance themselves from this set up asap and speak out then that's shocking. Contract clearly not fulfilled, break ties with provider and seek financial recompense and an apology to supporters affected since day one. Otherwise they are letting us down. Cracking result by the way!
  17. I have sent a strong e-mail to Luca Rossi at the SPFL, copied to Keith Haggart, ICT’s Commercial Director, in response to the e-mail I received with the back up log in details at 1616. In it, Salinger with referring to the AI issues from the first two games, I have said the SPFL needs to publicly state today’s issues were not the fault of the club. I doubt I will get a reply but it made me feel better. Perhaps others can do the same? It is great to read the feedback from those able to attend today.
  18. Again off topic, sorry, but I’m reminded of when a female work colleague returned from an overnight business trip to Islay where she spent the evening in a pub sampling the local malts. ”I woke up with the taste of peat in my mouth” she told us. ”Who’s Pete?!” was the response.
  19. I received a ticket but not wanting to go replied via email and phoned the club and they said someone else would get to go in my place he also asked if I wanted to be included in the next ballot and I said no thanks to allow others a chance to go.
  20. If people got tickets but did not tell the club they couldn’t attend, in my opinion they should be excluded from all ballots until normality returns. Many of us would have been delighted to get a late contact with the chance to attend today.
  21. How did you find the, rather strange, matchday experience overall ? PS both Bruichladdich and Bunnahabhain are fine Islay malts but, for me, you can't beat Caol Ila when it comes to a Hebridian dram🥃
