  1. Neil McCann assisted by Billy Dodds would be my first choice. Failing that, I would go for a young coach with potential and ambition. Any lack of experience could be compensated for by Robbo's sage advice.
  2. I like the sound of this, and had wondered if this was how it would pan out. Robbo has had a reasonable hit rate with player recruitment, and if we can get a management team who can get us playing like we were during Robbo's hiatus, this could be a win-win situation. If we can get McCann & Dodds, I may spontaneously combust...
  3. Well done to @IBM. Completely random arm's length draw on randompicker but pretty fitting given how much hard work you have put in this year in getting our player information up to date on the site. I have sent you a message with relevant details needed.
  4. Dougal has the experience of Roundabouts. He would be Magic.
  5. Please be McCann I was so impressed with his time here
  6. Can someone please explain to me how a bang average/mid table Championship side with limited apparent revenue streams can afford a CEO, Sporting Director and Head Coach? Unless someone has emerged, unannounced, from the shadows and injected a serous wedge into the club in an attempt to buy our way out of the Championship how on earth can we justify this kind of outlay? I just don't get it.....answers on a postcard please.
  7. The Under 18s game on Friday is being streamed live as a test of a new camera system. Hopefully it proves successful, but a shame it could not have been in place earlier in the season. https://ictfc.com/under-18s-game-live-streamed-this-friday
  8. Here are the draw results for 2020/21 season to see who receives Cameron Harper's signed shirt from this season just past. WINNER - SIGNED SHIRT : @IBM The names in the hat for each of the seasons are based on the members who joined the sponsorship group each year (see topic linked below). The draw itself is conducted using a random generator website (www.randompicker.com). We have used this same site to conduct all our draws over the years and have also successfully conducted several test draws on the current data that completed without any issues. The draw is completely and utterly random and no-one on CTO or within ICT has any influence or control over the names that come up. This is important to note as there are people connected with the club and with CTO who have subscribed and are therefore eligible and who will not be excluded from the draw. If anyone has any concerns or questions about this process, please feel free to PM me or mention it in the thread below. 2020-21: List of participants 2020-21 Draw Result on the randompicker website
  9. Not sure why people are still hoping it will be McCann. The fact that the club has his phone number and have no doubt had numerous conversations with him over recent weeks and months, but are publicly advertising the position, means that it will not be him.
  10. Hearing that Michael Beale the rangers first team coach has put his name in the hat.
  11. It does sound like an updated term for the role Grassa had. The problem with it is that most managers are unsure of the "power" of the Sporting Director. I cant see either Dodds or McCann going for this and doubt if we can afford it. It is going to be an insider.
  12. We have time to get this appointment right, no need for hasty decisions.
  13. McCann recently turned down Falkirk because he has other things on. I'd be surprised if he would contemplate a return to ICT.
  14. I do wonder what would have happened if Foran had had some experienced help. Someone with less experience, but having the safety net of an experienced sporting director could be a good thing. That said, if we can persuade the interims to become permanents, I'd sign up for that!
  15. Well, judging from the last time we had an inexperienced manager in the hot seat, I think it'd be a wise idea to get someone experienced...
  16. That will give us something to do on Friday night, I hope it's a success.
  17. Quite happy with that, as at the end of the season he became a bit of an impact player coming off the bench. Hopefully we hear good news about Toddy soon.
  18. Shane Sutherland has signed a one year extension, now under contract til the end of 21-22.
  19. Jim McIntyre Ray McKinnon Peter Grant Stewart Petrie
  20. Wonder if Terry is busy...
  21. I'm with Satan and hope its not a rushed appointment, let's take our time and carry out the necessary process. Imho, I'd like someone younger being mentored by Robbo whilst also retaining Baz Wilson, Scott Kellacher and Ryan Esson. I'm more than certain the usual suspects will be bandied about: Terry Butcher (however unlikely it is he'd return), Mo Malpas, Gary Locke, Stuart McCall, Stuart Kettlewell, not exactly an inspiring list. Paul Sheerin, Paul Hartley will likely be mentioned too but these aren't as uninspiring as the above names.
  22. The branches have finally broken for the horse stuck in a tree...
