  1. Probably a case of one player showing more passion and fight I that clip than our whole team combined this season so far.

  2. There were calls last season for Tokely to be given a shot at management, I think as a result of his extremely insightful comments in the press and on ICTV livestream commentaries. Who knows, Tokely and Esson could be the killer combination we need!

  3. Billy Dodds ain’t going anywhere the club can’t afford to sack him as they can’t afford the compensation. More concerning still is why the club decided to employ Robbo in the role what he is now doing only the board can answer that one as I certainly can’t. Until these guys contracts come to the end we are stuck with them so no amount of your inane ramblings and use of CAPITAL LETTERS is going to change that. Neglect and mismanagement since the Scottish cup win by the so called guardians of the club Dougal

  4. And would you be the super-rich sugar-daddy the team and fans have been craving? Cos somebody would need to pay for all that!!

  5. The Supporters Trust held their AGM on 13th December with members attending both in person and via Zoom. Chair Jennifer Aitchison reported a very significant and welcome increase in membership with nearly twice as many members than a year ago. I (Peter Mutton) had informed colleagues a while ago that in order to focus on other aspects of my life, I needed to step down from the Board, unfortunately, nobody else has come forward to serve on the Board and there are now only 4 members serving on the Board. In addition to Jennifer, the Board members are Laura Grant, Alison McInnes and John West. Jennifer updated members with the latest work of the Board. The Trust continues to try to work with the the club but with limited success. Earlier in the year we had offered to work with the club in raising money for a roof for the West Stand. Requests for a meeting to discuss options went unanswered. More recently the Club has contacted the Trust with non-negotiable plans for a roof over part of the stand and asked us to be part of a fundraising group. Despite having had no opportunity to input into the plans, the Trust again demonstrated its goodwill by agreeing to help. However, after an initial meeting, it appears to have stalled again with meetings being cancelled at short notice. We are also trying to liaise with the Club on a fairly detailed survey we have been working on about the match day experience. We are awaiting feedback from the Club regarding this. The reach of the survey and therefore the quality of the data will be significantly greater if this is a joint effort with the Club and therefore, the Trust Board very much hopes the Club will engage constructively on this. With or without the Club, the Trust will be launching this important survey in the New Year. At a meeting in September, the CEO told Jen and I that the Club were close to appointing 2 new members to the Board and that the AGM would take place soon after that. It has taken a while, but there are now 2 new Club Directors and therefore we can reasonably expect that the Club will hold an AGM soon. Given concerns about the Club's finances in the light of a number of factors, it is important that the Club Directors update shareholders and supporters at a long overdue AGM. The Supporters Trust will continue to push for this. Given the concerns about the Club's finances, it is more important than ever that the supporters of the Club have a strong voice. The Trust has grown in strength in the past year and it now has a far better infrastructure behind it to support a growing membership. Whilst the membership has almost doubled in the past year, it is important that it continues to grow strongly in order that it can be seen to be properly representative of the wider fan base. But a growing membership and a sound infrastructure counts for nothing if there aren't people to do the work. The Supporters Trust Board can have a maximum of 10 elected members and now there are only 4. They need your help. Jen, Laura, Alison and John have been a pleasure to work with and all are passionate about the future of the football club and the need to get the voice of the supporters better embedded in the working of the club. But they all have a range of work, family and other commitments which restricts the time they can spend on work for the Trust. The Trust urgently needs people to help both on the Board and behind the scenes. You can find out more about the Trust on the website, or, if you are interested in helping out one way or another, you can contact the Trust at [email protected]. All best wishes to everyone for a happy and successful New Year. And here's to some genuine togetherness between club and supporters and to success on the pitch.

  6. We have been truly awful to watch every season since we fell back into the Championship. It is only because of the low quality of other teams that we have not completely fallen away (although we are in great danger of doing that now). No shape, no leaders and no f***ing use. Total clear out at all levels needed.

  7. Did a search and found this: https://ictfc.com/john-robertson-extends-contract-until-2022-23 If his managerial contract terms still apply it is also up in June.

  8. I was always under the assumption that Robbo was just seeing out his managerial contact (which I think had not long been extended before he went off ill) just under a different name.

  9. We couldn't afford to sack Foran and look at where we are now.

  10. Something needs to happen and quickly. When we stayed in Inverness I was at every home game : if I was still there, I don't think I'd bother to be honest. Have been to a number of away games, particularly earlier this term but doubt I'll go for the remainder. Queens Park away was the final straw.

  11. Again how can we not afford to sack him? I agree though we may not be able to replace him with an external man until his contract rums out in the summer.

  12. Aye, saw that incident on the box too and couldn't help thinking we could do with some of that passion in our team. Have him sent to ICT on the next coach North.

  13. A dreadfully depressing thread to read but sadly it’s hard to disagree with any of the sentiments. It may often be said but the next two games really are crucial and will define how far we have regressed this season and what we are facing for the rest of it. Next up are Cove, the last team we defeated way back in October - our performance in that game will likely be a clear marker on our declining standards. The following game against Arbroath really worries me. At the moment I can’t see us coming away with anything from that and a loss closes the gap enough to put us in serious jeopardy. Norwich have wisely taken the decision today to ditch a manager that has lost the dressing room and the fans support. It’s the right move down here and would be the right decision at the Longman too. Just put Dodds on gardening leave till his contract expires and hand over the reins to Esson.

  14. I think the far more important question is; Has there ever been an ICT manager that you haven’t called to be sacked?? Lolz Who do you think should replace Dodds then is there any yokels or bumpkins in Caithness that could do a turn? From my experience Pentand Utd were always a well run outfit that has professional aspirations. Dougal

  15. If rumours are to be believed we can't afford to sack Dodds we just gotta hope we survive both on and off the pitch this season and then hope the board won't renew his contract. I just can't see him resigning or coming to a mutual agreement with the board to terminate his contract. We're unfortunately stuck with him
