  1. It's either that or a companies house only fans site.

  2. Given how rank rotten ICT are these days it makes sense that CTO turns into a plane spotters website.

  4. 30 years On... Thirty years on from our entry into the Scottish League system when we were then known as Caledonian Thistle, we head to Galabank Stadium, Annan, for a League 1 game, having already lost there this season in the League Cup group stages. This will be only the fourth meeting between the two clubs having won the first two 8-1 and 4-0 many moons ago before losing 1-0 last month. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Match/Ticket/Bus Info Thirty Years Ago Today ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not much has changed since we played Annan a month ago. Ethan Cairns is still out with a health issue. Trialist keeper still not signed up. Spoke to the 'Owner', hopeful of adding another couple of players. Wallace Duffy is also still a possibility. Annan beat Cove Rangers last week in their opening League fixture. Second half goals from Max Kilsby, Josh Todd and Malik Zaid gave Annan a 3-1 win over Cove. That win put Annan at the top of the table on goal difference. The League cup encounter was a close affair against Inverness and Tommy Goss got the winner despite a promising display from Inverness where Ferguson felt we were unfortunate not to take something from the game. Whilst Annan were beating Cove, we were drawing with Dumbarton in a game of two halfs. An opening headed goal from Danny Devine put us ahead just on the interval in a lively opening 45'. Alas we went back ito our shell after the break and the Sons capitalised on that to draw level. The Good Old Days Who remembers this one? Four days before the legend that was Alan Hercher scored that opening day League hat-trick against Arbroath at Telford Street in a 5-2 League fixture, we faced East Stirlingshire in the Coca Cola Cup first round and came away with a 2-0 win thanks to first half goals from Wilson Robertson and Alan Hercher. Report by Ian Broadfoot: A fine performance by Caledonian Thistle in their first competitive match won them a second round tie against Dundee. The home 'keeper Moffat denied both Hercher and McAllister but the deadlock was broken in the 36th minute when Wilson Robertson scored after a 1-2 with Paul MacKenzie. Just on half time they went two ahead - Hercher distracted Ian Lee and a Scott corner ricocheted into the net off the defender. Alan Hercher was credited with the goal. In the second half the result was never in doubt and both MacDonald and Hercher nearly increased the visitors' lead. East Stirling did come close seven minutes from time when John Scott was forced to clear from his line. A few minutes later Robertson and Noble had shots saved by Moffat. In the last minute a Geraghty shot nearly gave East Stirling a consolation goal but it came off the bar. 5. Through the looking glass stuff. They have two weeks to report if a director changes. It's also two weeks for Person of Significant Control (PSC) update, but this is just to update information in ICT's PSC register (and then another 14 days to tell Companies House, so effectively a month +) They have up to one month to tell Companies House if they issue more shares in ICT. So, if they have managed to somehow use ordinary resolutions to a greater effect/in a different spirit, it's possible, but the question is could they have marshalled a bare majority without any fanfare? As with the late company accounts and AGM, few are labouring under the illusion that good governance and compliance are the order of the day...

  6. If you say it's a fortnight overdue, then that goes some way to explaining why no shareholder (with the requisite shares) has called a general meeting. It would have been able to be waived away, in lieu of an upcoming AGM. However, a late AGM when in the light of i. the resignation of long-standing Chairman, ii. the appointment of a new, interim Chairman, iii. the 'resignation' of a CEO, iv. a cry for help from the board and v. an offer for majority ownership being accepted, is yet another in a long line of symptoms of a very dysfunctional board and senior leadership. Wonder when AGM+14 will happen?

  7. As someone who answers every question with a question I'm not sure he knows what a straight answer is. I've come to accept that we are screwed no matter what happens. All the digging into companies house and linkedin and google and all the blethering of fans and amateur journalists on here will not make a single iota of difference. I'm going to attend games and try and get some enjoyment from the little time we have left as a club. **** them all and I hope Morrison and Gardiner rot in hell for what they've done to us.

  8. Confirmation statement now made. Morrison has ICT's share. Registered office now in Dundee. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC732789/filing-history

  10. And Musa Dibaga the trialist GK from last weekend. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6551993/caley-thistle-boss-chats-to-new-potential-owner-transfer-targets/ It seems that potentially more signings/loans are likely if this article is to go by. Slightly off topic but there's a quote in there that proves my point about not judging KM before he's even started and that is "he's a very positive guy with lots of positive ideas for the club". That is the type of positivity I like to see so let's see if he delivers on this :ictscarf:

  11. Wallace Duffy might be back. Bit mixed about that as he's injury prone. With all the plastic pitches he might be on the sidelines injured more than on the park.

  16. Might it not be better if he retained statements like this until after he produces confirmation that he is the legal owner of the 50.48% of the shares that he has pledged to acquire?

  17. Has anyone heard anything about a meeting between the Board and the bigger shareholders, but not involving Scot Gardiner? What I heard was that the shareholders are keen to help the club if they possibly can. If this is the case, then I would look on this as a welcome development.

  18. Nah, Gardiner would spend all day on Wikipedia writing about himself, looking in the mirror, and then writing some more about himself ... all whilst telling himself what a great job he is doing!

  19. It's been changed back to Seventy7. The person who made the edit says that "The club have confirmed the change of majority shareholder." Did I miss that confirmation?

  20. There was a time when I used to edit/update some stuff on Wikipedia, but I noticed when looking at this that I am now blocked from editing, for various reasons that they list. My IP address seems to have more red flags than Ketan Makwana does!

  21. You are asking if Wikipedia is entirely reliable as a definitive source of factual and accurate information?! That ownership bit was added by a user called Coatbridge Chancellor on 26 July. He lists his interests as Rangers and Scottish football.

  22. I chanced across something today that he wrote about a Yeading and Hayes match. It was "we" this and "we" that, written as though he was the owner. And we all know how that turned out.

  23. Things he could put on his CV. - significant cost cutting when he first came in - £3.4m income from battery farm project which was initially approved by planning but overturned by unusual manoeuvres by the council, but which may still get approved on appeal - 99% of our interest in the battery farm was apparently then sold for £250,000 - this generating more cash than a year’s worth of season tickets? - 2 sell out concerts in 2020 would have been very profitable but then Covid hit. That was unlucky. - further attempt at concerts actually made an unspecified but significant amount money for the club from stadium rental and provision of other services to the concert co Obviously he wouldn’t mention the negative aspects of these things!
