I like it and have no issues with doing a different badge for the away kit this year. I’m sure it will be a good seller and lets us put last year’s orange abomination behind us. Well done to those involved and I’m just glad we still have a club, and that they’ve been able to sort out the Puma arrangement and finally get these on sale.6 points

A very assured performance from our new goalie Musa Dibaga on Saturday. Commanded his area well and his distribution seems really good too. Early days but I was certainly impressed.5 points

As a one off design, i think the badge is pretty good. Subtle inclusion of the two main icons.4 points

I heard little left sided Duffy has an issue with his collarbone, broken/dislocated. Not sure about big right sided Duffy, seemed to get caught on the foot after he cleared the ball upfield. Might be sore for a bit - ice/heat/elevation should be fine.2 points

Personally I like it. The colour scheme works (not too far away from my son’s away kit for his team as posted earlier) and the badge is something different to mark the 30 years. Designed by a fan and looks good imho. Think I may be tempted to order this one. Toronto FC did similar for their kit and badge in recent seasons. A new badge (simplified) but not the official one and they usually stick it on what they call a community kit (3rd kit). The first team strip is actually fan designed for the last couple of seasons although this year that one is bogging! if this design was approved by our former CEO then I will say that’s one decision he may have got right, even if the strips weren’t ordered or perhaps paid for before the season started.1 point

I must have missed the news on the design for a new logo. Was this a competition where the best was chosen? You’ll never please everyone even with this concept to be honest. Personally I don’t like the badge but this isn’t me having a go at the club for trying new ideas. I’d probably prefer the usual logo in those colours with some sort of anniversary description on it. It won’t stop me buying it though.1 point

At first glance I thought that Jaguar was a Bentley! I have a photo or two of an early Fiat 500 Topolino, which I will put up when I get back home - I am in Croatia just now. My next door neighbour - a stylish lady in her early 70s - had a Fiat 500, but not for very long. She'd had a classic MX-5 for years. Bought a new one when the redesign came out a few years ago, but she couldn't get along with it. Next up was a Fiat 500, which lasted for even less time - I was able to use the old "Had you filled up the ashtrays?" line. She then went on to a Mini, which she is very happy with. Three brand-new cars in a few weeks! One of the problems with the Fiat was that her partner is over 6 feet tall (and ex-Scots Guards) - and he didn't fit in very well!1 point

Unsurprisingly, dropping down a league seems to mean the calibre of match officials drops down a level too.1 point

On reflection that was quite brutal. Our players and management were really up for the win but in the second half Duncan the referee really seemed to lose things. The stand side lino - not sure if he was called Ferguson - repeatedly made the wrong decisions on throw ins. If you have ever done any refereeing or lino duties you do appreciate the complexity and sensitivity of each decision. However, Brooks booking, the two late tackles on Divine second half and the hoof out of QoS's defence late second half that ended up being absolutely nowhere near one of our players before going out was then given as a QoS throw in. Their goalkeeper stole yards at a free kick near the half way line yet the lino and referee did nothing when he moved back and then spun the ball forward again. Their number 5 repeatedly stole yards at throw ins yet no action was taken against him. So if the referee and lino are honest today, this was not a good performance by them. First win over the line but at a cost of some injured players. With Nolan on board we do now have an additional attacking threat. We are fortunate that next week we have the Trophy match.1 point
