  1. Give it a rest, children!!! I will not be reading this post again. Give it a rest, please - posters repeating themselves time after time is just so tiresome and such a waste of time. Go to the away games and enjoy the atmosphere, the singing, the banter, the craic - phone 07951 309 504 and, if you girn, you will have a few ladies on the bus who will sort you out pronto!! Promise!
  2. It's on Stenhousemuir website that the game is on Tuesday 25th September with a 7.30pm kick off.
  3. Here we go again - another evening away bus to arrange! The joys, the joys.
  4. I am sure every ICT fan wishes Nick all the best, and an asap return to full fitness. We will miss you, Nick, and look forward to your return to your place in the first team. Best regards. Liz S
  5. Great news. Congratulations to them all and I hope they all feature on the field and come back to Inverness safe and injury free.

    Well said, young man.
  7. Foran has a two game suspension so give us your next team selection please.
  8. Very well said DD. These "supporters" spoil the day out for those unlucky to sit near them. I have to listen to the same constant girning in the North Stand - that's why I much prefer the atmosphere with our supporters at away games.
  9. Today, in the North Stand, only reinforced my belief that the away games are so much more enjoyable. Moans everywhere today, from those who only turn up for games once in a while. Where's Grant Munro, where's Rossco - please people, these players are gone, and however you moan they are not coming back. Even when Draper scored his two goals there were the moans, its too little, too late etc etc (and half of them couldnt even get his name right, even though he has played quite a few games for ICT now). Its got to the stage when I now enjoy the away games so much more, the craic and the singing but, unfortunately I seem to "endure" the home games, because of the constant sniping against the team. I am not a happy clapper, but want to enjoy the games I go to, not listen to the abuse I have to suffer today - its enough to drive me to drink (especially the (one) cocktail I enjoyed in Dows today before the game!). Please note, I had no other alcohol before the game, or since.
  10. I had arranged to come back home a day early from a weeks holiday, in time to go to Hospitality on the Saturday and enjoy the game. My travel arrangements were that I would get into Inverness after 9pm on Friday night. Even getting changes to travel that day, if I can, and make the kick off, hospitality may be an expensive non-starter for me. Booooo
  11. Don't believe all you read In my previous employment, we were often advised to believe only 5% of what is in the press, the other 95% was likely to be made up by reporters stuck for something to fill their columns, or filched from some other paper or magazine who did likewise! and so it continues. Be sceptical, my dears.
  12. Blast and botheration!!!! Was working today and just got on to the computer. I haven't missed these games for years - how come no advance notice. Poor show and very very disappointed.
  13. Why didnt the "powers that be" get together for next Saturday's friendlies. Clach v Hearts (quite interesting)(especially with ICT playing Hearts at least twice in the next season) and ICT v Coventry City (interesting really only for us ICT fans). Could some heads not have got together and had one game early and one a bit later and then the total football fans could have watched both games, encouraged both Inverness teams and more money into both turnstiles. Needed some "joined up thinking" but didnt happen as both ko's are 3pm.
  14. There was a striker on the bench - why only one sub - Nick made all the difference, scored the goal. Strange that Elgin used umpteen subs, but ICT used only one. Why?
  15. Wonderful!!! Many thanks Jagster. Your comments have added to the enjoyment of our day out at Buckie! Where's the comedy in the SPL? Lots of craic at the game - just a pity the rain was so bad and made the pitch so slippy. Highlights for us were the nicknames made up for the newcomers to ICT!! ?? Oh dear.....
  16. When will this all end? Please, soon. I am so sick of Rangers, rangers, money, etc etc. Scroungers, cheats, the lot of them. Whatever is the end result, no-one will be pleased - the Rangers fans, the SPL (real b.mmers who cannot make a decision), the SFL (make Rangers go to the 3rd Div- wow)(even I might go to Elgin if I was not able to go to support ICT on that date), if it was you or I who owed so much money (or even £100) to the tax man, would we be allowed to run up such a debt? Never. I have gone to Ibrox but dislike the atmosphere, intensely. This won't change, no matter the outcome. The loser is football, integrity, the lot. This whole scenario has long outlasted everyone's patience - please - .........
  17. Best laugh of the day. Thank you, Luke. x
  18. One of the really really nice guys to play for ICT - always polite and so generous of his time to the fans, young and old. Many others could learn from him (current players included) on how to interact. Many thanks, David, for all the great times including the timely goals, (recorded on dvd for replay), the times you "took one for the team" and just for being a really genuine person. I'll miss you. Lets hope ICT find a real star to replace you - it will be difficult. Best of luck David - you deserve it.
  19. Very well done to Graeme Shinnie - the Supporters Club Player of the Year and the Supporters Trust Player of the Year.
  20. I'll be there, just as always. I don't mind being called a happy clapper - I've likely been called worse over the years! I don't think I have rose-tinted specs, but I do support my team, through thick and thin, and so, very well said Don. Come on, ICT, show us true spirit, especially now when its needed. We really don't want a last day of the season scenario v Hibs, that would be too much to bear.
  21. Many many thanks. I've really enjoyed watching these clips over and over again. Happy memories - of Telford Street especially!!! and the terracing. Oh, the memories of changing ends at half time, to keep being behind the opposition goalie, to hopefully be there to see "our" goals going in - imagine changing ends nowadays!! Only "golden oldies" (and maybe IHE) can recall that.
  22. Oh, for goodness sake, give it a rest! Please. GMS wasnt signed, even everyone at Clach Park that day thought he was great, but.... The others were. End of. Topic closed, please.
  23. There will be more than 22 there today, as there's more than that travelling on the Supporters Club bus.
  24. Having been a Caley fan since a small child, I dont remember the earliest games I was taken to. However I do recall that in the mid 60s Caleys biggest rivals were Elgin - with lots of supporters buses going through to Elgin. I was actually spat on, leaving one game, Caley having won (again) and their fans just a bit unhappy. Elgin were the biggest "enemy", but I also remember being very bored at Dingwall, watching a 0-0 draw - one of these games when a goal was never going to come. Remind anyone of recent games at ICT? Strange that I now watch out for Elgin's results and actually wish them well.
  25. Today was a great day out. Sunshine and happy faces, laughs and banter. Many congrats to the organisers and, of course, to Grant and Russell. It was good to see the "oldsters" remembering their footballing skills, but good also to see the young players in the first half really doing a fine job (not forgetting Captain Ross Tokely, who seemed on a mission to get a hat-trick). Surely the management team should give our young players a game towards the end of the season, once ICT are mathematically safe of course. Today several of the youth team showed that they are worthy of first team selection, especially due to their commitment and obvious try, try, try attitude which at times seems to be lacking in the first team. Again many thanks for all the memories, Grant and Russell.
