  1. Well said, Luke. You are there every game, home and away, and give very sound reviews and comments for such a young person. This forum needs you. Keep it on.
  2. I am sorry that the majority of the posters, so far, seem to have been absent from the actual game and relied on radio, second sight, etc. First quarter all ICT, then even. Against a top six team I am reasonably happy with the point (would have been happy with a point v Aberdeen but got three). Today was a good day eventually, a clean sheet (good show Jonny Tuffey)(despite Sandaza's antics etc- I do hope our Roman gave him a few choice words in Spanish through the game). In my opinion Sandaza makes claims "just in case" and it was a new referee today (well I didnt recognise having seen him before in our League) who despite umpteen yellow cards to ICT in the first half, calmed down in the second and saw the game a bit better. No real failures today - hope Rosscoe's injury is not too serious, but agree that Tade should have been brought on sooner as he could have made a big difference.
  3. Missed this game, due to family commitments, but was kept up to date with the game by text. As a long term fan (of ICT, and Caley before) I attend all games, home and away, and no matter what happens I would NEVER go to watch County (home or away) in place of watching ICT and thats despite my birthplace being Dingwall (my mother's mistake - her being there at the time). There are good days, and bad days, for every football team and surely the good days must eventually overcome the bad ones. Every team has bad times, ours just seem to be having a run of bad, but..... Come on TB and MM, do the business, or ?? And get us a goal scorer, quick, or else....its just as well Dunfermline cannot win at home (please don't let JJ get their first home win against us before the end of the season - that would be the absolute pits).
  4. Sorry - I was away for the weekend and am only just back home. I have emailed Scotty - Supporters Club bus leaves at usual time of 10am as the bus will be going into Perth City Centre for passengers to enjoy some lunch before going on to the game. Site will be updated by Scotty in due course.

    richie foran

You have missed quite a few times then, when Richie has shouted/screamed at his team-mates (usually most games) and, eventually, has gone on to make mistakes himself. On Saturday he was shouting at Jonny Tuffey, Rosscoe! and others. Thats criticism, not captaincy. One day our supposed "Captain Courageous" will give credit where credit due, not point the finger into the face or put his hands on a team-mate - eg at Dunfermline in the cup replay (not for a moment do we believe the story re "getting Hayes going"). It's a Team Leader's job to give encouragement where due and/or lead the team when there's a problem - Richie has to tread the fine line as Captain and keep his Irish temper in check. Interpersonal skills and all that.....
  6. Very good news indeed. Fabrice Muamba seems to have been in the right place, at the right time, with all the right people around him to assist - and - it was obviously not his time to depart this life. I sincerely hope and pray that he recovers fully and goes on to enjoy life, whatever the future brings for him. He, his family, his team, and we (all football fans), really appreciate the dedication of those with their expert medical knowledge, at the stadium, in the ambulance and at the hospital thereafter, for the current outcome - long may they be blessed for their contribution towards Fabrice Muamba.
  7. Apparently severely concussed and still in hospital. I wish him all the best and hope he makes a full recovery soon. Nice guy to talk to, just had big ideas of his own capabilities.

    Butcher OUT?

Oh dear. Such sad, dreary comments. Do anyone of the above posters go to the games or just read the newspaper reviews. I have been to all the games this season so far, as usual and, ok, some have been dire, some more dire than others, and some pleasantly surprising (v Killie away - wow!!)(and the last minutes v Dunfermline in the Cup - thanks to the 4th official for the extra minutes due to Dumfarmline's time wasting after they scored = wonder if they learned any lessons that day). But, overall, there have been ups and downs - Johnny Hayes goal v Hibs (away) was a great "up" for example. Goal of the month - remember? Please, folks, look to the postitives, not just the negatives. In my day job I say to candidates - be positive, not negative - I know its not easy, but, folks, the players are only human and have off days just like us all. (We just hope the off days don't occur on Saturdays). Lecture over!!!
  9. Robbo - a really nice guy, a super coach, and with Donald Park alongside, an inspiration for ICT. For that we thank him and won't forget the glory days. Oh happy days!! Surely somewhere his talents will be recognised and he will find his correct niche in Scottish football - too good to just be stuck behind a mike (no matter how good he is there).
  10. Special top marks to the young supporters who travelled to this game - they sang throughout the 90 minutes and did ICT proud. They never went quiet the whole time, which is more than can be said for lots of supporters of the "bigger" teams when losing. Well done boys - you know who you all are. At the final whistle, only Roman Golabart and Josh Meekings acknowledged the travelling support, so black marks to the rest of the team who left the field without a backward glance or acknowledgement of their fans (probably expecting a tongue-lashing for the next hour or so from TB and MM).

    Current Climate

I have always supported Caley Thistle and before that Caley. However, it is only really since I qualified for a concession ticket that I have been able to attend all the games, home and away. Since retiring from my full time job, I have a small part time job and that pays for the footie - travel to home and away games, season ticket, away entrance, cup tie entrance, etc. I couldnt do that if I didnt get the concession entrance - it makes the difference between attendance and pacing the floor at home worrying - now I just worry whilst being at the stadiums.
  12. Re Luke and Fraz's comments above, I sit in Section G and really miss the singing section, which was moved, supposedly, to have any bad language further away from the family section. From my seat, 4 rows from the back, right amongst the then singing section, I only ever heard the occasional bad word and the user was usually told off by his companions, it wasnt left to wifies to say anything. No sweet rustlers, us! The banter was good and we all had many laughs. Anyway, what school child doesnt hear swear words - they hear them in the school playground nowadays. Well, on Saturday, there was more bad language from a regular ICT "supporter" in section G than ever came from the singing section. He was told repeatedly to curb his language and eventually did so slightly - this guy only ever criticises, never praises and is a real pain. Funny comments for the first 15 minutes, then boring boring boring - Proctor being his main whipping boy, then the ref. This man is such a pain that, when there are empty seats in the North Stand, other fans move to get away from him - this couldnt be done on Saturday, and it must have spoiled the game for the four youngsters sitting in the same row as him, just a couple of seats away.
  13. Our Gregory's already the fans favourite. Running to the North Stand at ICT at the end of a home game to meet the younger fans, and coming to the away stand at Motherwell to acknowledge the fans there - only goes to win over the fans even more and he is already a winner. We have been singing his name since he came here, so, it can only get better. That goal on Saturday was a peach! (Pity it was at the away end from us!). Our Gregory runs and runs, never gives up, and that's what we want for an ICT player. Bring it on, Gregory.
  14. Slow motion of video taken by Andycam clearly shows that Kenny got the ball, not the man. So, who made the decision at the Appeal? Who viewed the video carefully? North/South bias ? or what..... For my sins I do hope that C..nty make it to the SPL (as long as we are still there and are always higher than them in any table) then those namby-pambies in the Central Belt have to travel SO far north twice as often. Ooh the shame - hope it snows much more than it has recently - oh the poor souls, my heart bleeds - not.
  15. The video taken by Andycam, slowed down, clearly shows that Kenny got the ball. Fast track appeal, my a..e. Its a conspiracy!!! Forgive the language! please - usually reserved for live games.
  16. Well said, Johndo. The away crowd, were singing (not always in unison) but singing nevertheless. The atmosphere at our end was great - maybe it was because we were in the stand behind the goals and not in the "tractor style" seats?! Onwards and upwards! Here's to all the brave souls who will join me on the trip south on Wednesday to continue the "vibe". Surely the old "Jebi Dabi" song now fits our own Gregory Tade much better and the chants of Golabart, Golabart, were top class. Many thanks, one and all.
  17. Wonder what Richie made of it, from his position in the away fans stand? Would love to hear his true views of the game, and the players performance, not the edited/printed version !
  18. Could be a great night in Dunfermline - contact me, if you want to go to the game and not just sit and watch on Sky. After all, you can tape it and watch it all over again!
  19. Can I agree with Capital Caley - please. ICT fans will be surprised and delighted with the next ? penalty awarded for us, But not in a penalty shoot-out v Dunfermline next Wednesday, please....
  20. Supporters Club bus leaves from the Stadium as usual at 10am and will arrive back in Inverness around 9.30pm, traffic permitting.
  21. Adam Rooney for Birmingham, Friday eve on ITV4 - a good downwards header. Well done, Adam.
  22. Wow! That's an early rise for us going to Dundee on a Sunday morning !
  23. Really great to be able to hear these interviews and a good insight into the players and Terry as well. Well done everyone involved. Thank you.
  24. Is it still a 7.45pm kick off for our away game v Hibs the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year? Anyone able to confirm this please.
  25. And I'll be there with you. Solidarity, belief, and all that....
