  1. I'm not worried at all yet. I've seen enough good things this season to know we can come good when we get our players back. Losing to Celtic and Heartsat home isn't that bad, The Hamilton game was a bad one but we can make up for that one on Saturday against St Mirren.
  2. Pretty sure it's Lewis Mackinnon. Either Craig Macmillan or Lewis Mackinnon?
  3. Tokely played pretty poor today but he was out of position. Eric was good i thought and can't see any reason why people would think he had a poor game. Im guessing Innes is out now so its going to be a very out of form defence against Celtic on Wednesday. Golabek---------Munro-------Tokely--------Proctor ????????????? I can't see McBain going in at left back or Cox at right back.
  4. No chance are we in a relegation battle. I can take enough from todays game to believe we can beat St Mirren next weekend, Tightening it up at the back is all thats needed and im confident the goals will be there next week, Rooney was unlucky a few times and just appeared to be having an off day infront of goal. Next weekend will give us a better idea of where we are. Losing to Hamilton could be down to a bad day but our second attempt is next weekend against St Mirren, if we lose that also then we may start worrying.
  5. I'm a bit surprised we lost that one 3-1 to be honest, We didn't play badly but lost a couple of soft goals on the break, we did however have a few of chances to score. The only bad point i would say was the defence, Tokely at left back wasn't working and Proctor wasn't too good at right back either. Hayes had a good game and had their left back in his pocket all day. Rooney done well also and created a few chances with a great first touch but was unlucky with the finish. Pass marks for Duff and Ross too today who i thought offered a few nice balls through to Rooney.
  6. "New signing Rudi Skacel is unlikely to be included in the Hearts squad as the Czech Republic international needs training, having been without a club." Taken from the BBC Website.
  7. I've always wondered what sport dishes out the most wages. I guess it would it be Football but how does the NFL compare and sports like Golf and F1?
  8. HD has ruined me now. After watching the world cup BBC games in HD and ITV games on regular i now find it really hard to watch matches at home that aren't in HD and for that reason i much prefered watching the BBC games over the summer. It really does make a different and defines the player so much better.
  9. C'mon Rooney! Multitask! Get that contract signed as well as banging in a hatrick against Hearts.
  10. Most likely you will be able to. I can't see this one being a sell out and i've turned up and parkhead and ibrox for league games before and bought a ticket before kick off from the ticket office.
  11. Changing my first scorer from Skacel to Kyle as Skacel is unlikely to be in the squad.

  13. Shame, i can't wait until everyones back and we have our first 11 out there. So whos in for Gillet then? McBain or Golly I'd go with Golly as he didn't do anything wrong last season to lose his place and deserves another go.
  14. Ian Black was a well established player at ICT, and a good one at that. I would be applausing him before the game and no booing during the game. Theres a select few that i count as ICT "legends" but i reckon hes got to be in there.
  15. Will also be going to this one from Paisley.
  16. As a student i rarely have to pay £15 to get into grounds, especially for a cup game. I'm not complaining at having to pay this as i know it is normally around £22 to get into park head. It is however quite steep for a family to see a cup match on a wednesday night. I don't expect to pay less than everyone else, i expect to pay the same as all concessions being a student. Most teams include a student price and thats why i asked.
  17. First half they done well to keep Man Utd at bay and in the second half you could tell Man Utd stepped it up a bit looking for that goal. There were spells during the game when i thought Rangers could have snuck a wee goal as Man Utd were pushing furthur up but overall an excellent result for them and i even think they managed more shots on target.
  18. Delighted with the result today. Looks like we could have easily have lost it with the open goal miss, offside goal decision if Wotherspoon got out of the way for Riordan to shoot and the penalty miss. 4 Points from our first 4 matches is good, we've had to play some hard teams. Roll on playing St Mirren, St Johnstone and Killie to clock up some real points. In the mean time another draw next weekend would suit me.

  20. Haven't got my specs but, from the stats on this site, I make it Played 15....Won 8....Drawn 2......Lost 5 in our previous league meetings which gives us a 66.666% chance of winning Its P 15 W 8 D 2 L 5 in the League and P 16 W 8 D 2 L 6 Overall including the Scottish Cup.
  21. So it turns out Proctor really is a good centre half? Add that to the fact that Rooney and Rory are now two of the most prolific goalscorers in Scotland. Fair play Brewster, peraps you weren't so daft afterall. Aye right, take a look at your avatar!
  22. They beat us in the very first SPL match which was at Pittodrie so your right, they have never won at TCS.
  23. SMEE - Have advocated the following solution in the past and think it is truly the only way forward for Scotland in the future if we are to have any chance of qualifying for World Cup Finals or European Championships -- Create a North Atlantic qualifying region consisting of Iceland, Faeroe Islands, Greenland ( assist/fund them to enter as a full FIFA rep ), Northern Ireland and Scotland. Top two teams in the group qualify for any finals. This puts us up against countries/competition very similar in capability and aspiration to our own levels. This would give us a genuine opportunity to qualify for finals in the future, where we can then be absolutely tanked by all the other finalists. The other alternative is to create separate competitions for genuine third rate teams like Scotland - so we have a chance to win a little trophy and some medals Or due to the amount of European countries these days we enhance the tournament to 24 teams and have extra teams qualifying. We would then have a better chance of qualifying and then getting absolutely humped at the tournament.
  24. Ok so on past matches at Easter Road in the league they've beaten us 4 times and we've beaten them 3 times (not bad) Altogether we have beaten Hibs 8 times, drew 2 and lost 6. We're unbeaten against Hibs in the last 3 matches, beating them twice. Overall my opinion is we WILL win. C'mon ICT!
