County threat

Just noticed along with Sproule and Hainault county have signed a Greek full back, could this improve their squad and could we see a bounce back from them?

No idea about the Canadian and Greek players but Sproule has been on the wane for a few years. He's far from the player who scored hat-tricks at Ibrox and all that. He could be a decent signing though, he offers them something a bit different in midfield.

The problem for County could be how long will it take for the new players to gel into the team.  If Dundee can get run of a few wins, it could make the relegation battle interesting.

no

That's what I like to see.  An opinion backed up by objective argument.

I think the answer to the OP is "Yes".

County shouldn't need to strengthen in order to secure survivial but despite their current position they are not that far off top six and will be aiming for that.  Not only would that offer provide some money spinnig games at the end of the season, it would provide some real credibility for the club.  Offering contracts to  mix of experienced players and players from abroad who are looking for an opportunity to get on the radar of bigger clubs in the UK sounds like a sensible strategy to me.

Scotty posted something on another thread about the Canadian, there both on Wikipedia anyway

County are bringing in some new players.............so what.........they are still shadow's.

The evening prior to the first cup game, MacGregor and Adams both talk live on BBC Radio Scotland about how County have "different morals" to Caley as they look to have a "local" squad.

So with three signings of players not even born in Scotland does this suggest that they have lost there moral integrity or are simply full of..................?

I think to all those doubters, the answer was YES

The additional players didnt help as much as that awful pitch and the home advantage it gave them to get a run of results going.

County could be a threat all next season, but with a new roster they are no better off than Caley  Thistle.

But because they are playing us I think they will just play harder again when the derby's come around.
