Tudur-Jones called up to Wales squad

Featured Replies

Brilliant. Couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving bloke.

Although it may very well put him in the shop window making the prospects of him still being with us next season less likely.

Or "If I can get back into the squad while at ICT I'll stay"

Or he may just realise that playing for us is what got him back into the squad and choose to stay.

I'm sure I read somewhere, that he's more commonly used as a right-back for Wales.  I know that Wales probably have other good midfielders in the middle, but I can't really see him as a full-back really.

According to some Welsh friends Owain was usually played out of position as afull back because of his size.

From me ........All the best Owain you well deserve your cap, good luck

Well done, for me he's one of our stand out players. He's a class above most other centre midfielders in the league imo.

Does anyone know if  Owain got  a game tonight .I was going to watch game but for some reason lost

Sky signal when anthems were being sung it was only a problem on  Sky 1 as the other stations were

available would be interested to hear if anyone else had a problem.

He did not get any game time

If I hear another person pronounce his name as if it were spelt Owen Tudor, I am going to scream!

Because his name does not change for the English speaking fans.  Tudur is actually Welsh for Theodore anyway.

Pronouncing his name like "Owen Tudor" is ignorance.

In which case, why don't we just call him Ted to save any argument

Like Milngavie or Avoch, people will usually pronounce it the way they see it unless they expressly know otherwise, I'm the grand scheme of things I'd class this as a 'first world problem' tbh.

I'm gonna start calling him Theodore.

People pronouncing Moray as "Moe-Ray" is one I really loathe.

Theodore sounds good;

Theo maybe better,

OTJ sounds best to me

He would be wasted at right back. His great asset  is his shooting ability from distance,

His tackleling is not the best and he has a tendency to give away free kicks and penalties, ( Paul Scholes syndrome)  keep him up front Wales.
