Should be told to go away. We have spent good money getting him back to fitness. He should say go away too. When Butcher cut his head the big baby put a bandage on. Yogi just got on with things Sunday

  • Yes

  • What un unfair situation he has been injured for weeks ICT get him back to match finess and he moves on . Hope there is no truth in it .

P and J reports a new contract has been offered to Vincent. Over to him now.

we've offered a contract to all the players that Yogi wants to keep

Butcher's interview (STV?) strongly hinted on a summer approach for Vincent on a free. Hope he sees sense and takes the offer on the table from ICT.

He's going to be on the bench on Saturday seemingly.

....and comes on 2nd half and scores the winner reigniting our challenge ;-)

apparently hibs have signed vincent on a pre-contract

anyone else heard about this ?

It would explain the Tansey move if Vincent gave Yogi the heads up

Only this week Vincent said:

"the main focus is just to get back on the pitch, get playing and once that settles down then sort out my contract situation.

For me it’s just all about playing again and getting back in the starting line-up.

It’s always nice to be linked with other clubs, but I just want to focus on getting back on the pitch."

@mancagent on twitter saying not true. Assuming he's Vincent's agent?

I would love him to stay but with Tansey, Foran and hopefully soon Draper all tied for next season It wouldnt be a dire situation...but I would still be disappointed to lose him.

Spoke to him and Marley today, never mentioned anything about moving away, Marley fit and ready to play.

I'm sure he's a top target for Butcher in the summer and he might be tempted. Hope not - he looked great for 2 months and it would be all the sweeter if another Butcher signing target passed him by!

Would be a disappointment but we are well covered in midfield and have coped with losing better than him in the past.

That said, would much prefer him to stay.

If he signs a pre contract we should try and gets cash and move him now. If we can't, let him rot with the under 20's.

He is a good player and, even if he does sign a pre contract with Hibs, we should still utilise him if his form justifies it otherwise we are just wasting his salary and cutting off our noses to spite our face.

Players who sign pre contract generally suffer a lose of form and in my opinion don't try as hard. There are the very odd occasions this doesn't happen. Who would he rather finish further up the league? Us or the team he will play for who would have more money and still and very slim chance of Europe? Get cash now and move him on.

There wont even be any Edinburgh derby day experiences for any Hibees next year or not for definite

the year after either!
