I quite liked the January transfer window thread on here because it brought a lot of speculation and good discussion between posters.

How would you like to see the summer window go? Where should we strengthen? Who should leave the club?

My wish list for next season that we strengthen in the left back and attacking options. Keeping guys like Miles Storey and Owain Fon Williams should be an imperative.

Noticed in in the daily record today that John Fleck is looking for another club. Would be an ideal replacement for Ryan Christie. El Bahkatoui of Dunfermline would be a fantastic addition to our club too.

Hope we get our business done early doors.

We've been signing non league players up until now .. I'll happily take a young player with pedigree from a Championship team.  No risk for us in a 6 month loan .. if it doesn't work out then he

That's a ridiculous statement, there is no way tight Aberdonians will pay train fares when the Megabus is only £1

Ritchie Foran has pulled a master stoke in getting Jake Mulraney's signature. He will be a fans favourite because he is what you pay your money in for. Lightening quick, off the cuff, direct winger wi

Gives us another option in an area where we were a bit thin on cover. Will reserve judgement till I see him play but good to see that Richie has identified a weak area and signed a player to cover it (a big failing in Yogi's time here!).

Do we have any confirmation on how long McNaughton will be out for?

Not good! Do we have any cover at left back? Vigurs?

Afraid that given his run of serious injuries this looks like career ending. My worry about signing McKay is that Meekings could be shunted to right back ?

Did Polworth not play at LB before? I remember Danny Williams filling in there and have seen Meekings play there before. Doran? sure he played there or RB when we went down to ten men once

Foran quoted as saying out for the season.

I can't see anything online saying Kevin is out all season. Surely the club would have said something on twitter giving us a update

Happy with McKay .. as Yingwie said, I thought this as a straight replacement for Devine. He's a young, Scottish, SPL experienced player so seems a good signing

But..... just reading off BBC gossip some tweet (no idea of substance) to say Meekings to Rangers, Tansey to Aberdeen as a swap for Scott Wright

I would be absolutely devastated with that .. but both moves seem feasible

Just speculation at the moment so trying not to over react but that would be 1 step forward and 5 back

To lose either would be a blow to lose both would be devastating. Let's hope both rumours are without foundation.

Surprised to see Nicky Clark (not the hairdresser) go to Dunfermline, I'm sure he knocked us back for loan before and although was never prolific at The Rangers, I thought he might have been worth a deal

“We will be going into the final day of the window,” he said. “We are still looking into our attacking options as well as another defender, with Kevin McNaughton going to be out for the season. We need more cover there. We are looking for players who will be starters, not jersey fillers. We are going for top quality additions. I’m happy with the squad, but we need help.

Raven / Horner / Vigurs could all do a job at LB. Their services won't be required though as Tremarco is indestructible.

If we could re-sign Christie on loan, we would have a very solid team

An Aberdeen fan on P&B (so could well be nonsense) reckons the loan move for Scott Wright is back on.

Larnell Cole joins on loan from Fulham until January.

Ex man United player, gives us some stature. Short loan, but hopefully it'll work out for him. Exciting prospect

Played in good company.. same youth squad that produced Pogba, Lingard, Ravel Morrison, Will Keane and Tunniclife .. so must have something. This could be a great wee signing

If we keep a hold of Tansey and Meekings then this could be a very decent window

told you there was money to spend!!!!
