What we need in transfer market to improve.

Looking ahead to next season, regardless of the league we are in, today and most of this season has shown that we need to improve in areas of the park so the priorities in the next transfer market has to be defenders, especially centre half and right back.  I think we probably also need a striker as well, preferably one that scores regularly.

To be honest, this also depends on who stays or goes because players like Donaldson, Polworth and Doran will be linked away.

I'm making just my second contribution here in a year of self-imposed purdah because I feel strongly enough about this to want to back up Scotty's effort to put the record straight about David Sutherl

Firstly, Todorov has been on the books of Nottingham Forest (2014-15), Hearts (2016-18) and Falkirk (2019) and had loan spells at Livingston and Queen of the South. Anyone who watches lower league Sco

Except Derry are probably a bigger club than us...

Hardly "Lower League" when they've played in the Champions League 3 times and Europa League 5 times compared to our record of 0 and 1...

Surely he was never a first team pick then seen a bit of him last season he looked about 2 stone overweight and ran like he smoked 40 a day!

Nice to be nice my man how's tricks no get the invite to big Js wedding obvs I sent the big man a nicely decorated traffic cone!

Surprised to see McCauley move on. I thought with a full time pre season he could perhaps do a turn for us.

Good to see Robbo’s comments about the younger players stepping up and being more involved this season.  We certainly need them to, given we have lost four players and only brought two in so far. Interesting comments also about the priority being a left sided central midfielder and a striker, so replacements for Chalmers and Oakley / Austin.

It would be good to get off to a fast start this season.

may be worth a shout

Looked quite dangerous against us at Tannadice. However, he was subject to the Tannadice boo boys so a refreshing move to the Highlands might put him back on track - assuming our supporters this year adopt a positive attitude to all players even when not performing to their maximum capacity!!! If he gets a decent haircut that would help him too.

That may well be IT for next season. I am all fer playing the yoof but we have to saturate the team with those players in pre-season to see if they are up to the mark. Getting off to a good start in the league is so important. The other plus in that statement is that it gives hope that some of our potential transfer "losses" appear content to stay. But when you are a "feeder" club don't you just hate the transfer window.

It may all have happened too early for this lad so, if true, he may prove to be a good addition.

Aiden Nesbit was a very promising youth player who is still young but has lost his way a bit in recent seasons. Very like Paul Sheerin when we first signed him. Well worth a punt if he is willing to commit to at least a two year contract on reasonable terms.

Half decent prospect wouldn't be offering contracts of at LEAST 2 years crazy talk my man at the levels we operate on 1 year tops with an option all we should be giving ! Lucky to get big McCauley out the door stuck with likes of Trafford on longer deals mare!

Loads of good free agents out there would improve our team was hoping we'd sign Paul Paton similar player to Draper and improvement on Trafford!

Certainly a player who is now well into his thirties and with his career on a firmly downhill trajectory. Not the sort of player we need to be looking at.

Agree Paul Paton is absolute *****.

Haha Paul Paton just the type of expierienced hatchet man we need to get out of this division see Falkirk signed another on my wish list Telfer great player!

Paul Paton is absolutely useless, a washed up massive jawed diddy.

I take it you mean Charlie Telfer?  His career is progressing on the time honoured path - "hot young prospect" with one of the old firm, middling prospect who doesn't make it at a Premiershop level club, drops down to First Division but still can't do it and eventually ends up bouncing around the seaside leagues until the final career death knell sounds and you sign for Clyde.

Are people still falling for the fishing trip???

Paul Paton no got many fans up here eh our fans are getting spoiled watching such class acts like Trafford and White
