Reprieve for Brewster :rotflmao:

So much for my rubbish prediction hibs 0 ICT 1....

That the way to do it boys

And John Robertson, commentry/analysis of the year, I think he likes us?!

Gosh it is strange reading this, as I am still listening to it live!

Great result, but it sounds like we could have got more - sounds like Cowie and others have got into good attacking positions. Certainly didnt expect the penalty save, either.

Jump 2 teams in the league!

Brewster must stay!

You might argue he is slightly biased being an ex-ITC manager & Hearts legend :rotflmao:

Fantastic result today and 3 much needed points. :thumb04:

Agreed, Robertson was excellent.

Yes, he is refreshing! He is treating it as an extended job in terview. All in vain I fear. He was also apparently disappointed to leave here.

whatever anyones thoughts on brew are, dont think anyone can disagree that the team showed great character to come back from last weeks drubbing to get a great result today

And he's just given Vigurs MOM, says he controlled the game

well done son

A young lad with great potential

Great 3 points today. Played the gameplan to perfection. Well done lads. Spesh mention to Easson on saving the penalty to ensure the 3 points :rotflmao:

Credit where credit is due, the team performed far better than last week. To perform worse however would have been difficult. Special mentions to Esson for saving the penalty and Vigurs for a solid game. The rest were pretty decent too !!!

great result :rotflmao: :thumb04: :018:

same team for rest of season ;)

What a difference a week makes!

Great result, well done boys.

A repeat of our 5-in-a-row winning streak like we did before Xmas a couple of years ago is all we want now!

Excellent result today. Not at match but radio gave impression we were holding out ok and playing well on break.

NOw need to build on this and get results this week against Falkirk and Hearts.

If we do then then it will be a good week and hopefully a turning point in our season which would then hopefully lead to a successful season again, maybe even top 6 - the league is still very close and a couple of back to back wins ( 3 this week would be magnificent and well within our capabilities) would have us climbing the league

Great stuff today. I thought we sat a bit deep to start with but the midfield trio took control and our counter attacking was brilliant. The first goal came from an almighty **** up from Makalamby but it was a decent finish from Cowie. Second goal superb break from us, Imrie carrying the ball forward, laying it through to Black who composed himself and finished like a dream. Great celebration, Klinsmann in front of the fans.

All through the second half we were breaking dangerously, Imrie and Cowie were great at this. Wood is such a willing worker, he did better against Hogg and Jones than any other of our forwards at Easter Road in years. Esson was solid, a really good save at the penalty. He was raging when Riorden scored at the end, obviously wanted the clean sheet.

Fantastic stuff. Match report on the way.

Great second goal. Chris, Imrie fed Cowie and he squared it to Black.

Apologies. It was a great goal :rotflmao:

I'm back & delighted , well done the boys :rotflmao:

I'll have to stay away from the radio more often on away days

Bring on the bairns :thumb04:

A great win, and everyone seems to have forgotten about the rangers match at last. Brewster got his tactics spot on and played to our strengths. No player could be faulted for effort, and i can't remember the last time that a team won with so much conviction as we did today.

still want brew gone? nah didn't think so...

While I dont think everyone has forgotten the Rangers game, and as the saying goes " one swallow doesn't make a summer" it is nice to see they came back from a very bad day and hopefully they can build upon this

yep, we need a win against falkirk to make this one really count, we could be looking at ourselves 6 points clear of the bottom.

Very entertaining game, great performances from everyone, and an amazing result. Shame about the Riordan goal, but the fact that so many Hibs fans left with 15 minutes to go showed how much we were dominating.

Wow. It's nice to remember what leaving a game happy feels like :rotflmao: :thumb04: :018:

Only downside: Barrowman for Wood. An immediate downturn in performance. DON'T do that again...

Changed yer tune a wee bit smee?

Well done the players/managment!!!!!

I don't think anyone has forgotten last weeks match and the question still remains as to how/why we can produce the mince we did last week and then turn up today as if it was a totally different 11 men on the park.

Some will claim it was thanks to Brewster, some will continue to deny just how bad it was last week and put it down to the fact we were playing an on form Rangers team, some will credit the players for having an improved attitude on the park.

The fact of the matter is that we went out there today with much the same formation as we did last week and it worked against the team we were facing. Brewster either got lucky, or it was a master stroke to stick with what hadn't been working for the previous 5 games because he knew it would work today....time will tell.

Sitting back and hitting on the break may work on the road, but it's not going to bring much at TCS (as we have witnessed so far this season). Brewster has to show he has the where with all to look beyond his "One tactic fits all" approach to the SPL and demonstrate that he has what it takes to make the necessary changes to formation and tactics to get results at home.

I'm delighted we got the win today, and I'm delighted the players seemed to be playing with some heart for the first time in long enough. However, it's far from proof that Brewster should be forgiven for the crap we've been served up for the last year.

It doesn't take much to get a team fired up when your coming off the back of result like last week, so I have my doubts about just how much of a hand Brewster had in the extra fight the players showed today and how much of it was down to nothing more than them trying to regain a bit of personal pride!!!
