  1. If this bizarre notion of squeezing us into a corner of a third empty stadium an area with poor sightlines and many restricted views is not reconsidered then, in my opinion, the club should hold firm and refuse to accept and distribute tickets. We were treated with contempt with regard to the semi final arrangement and the club and supporters should now stand firm together against this further outrage by the club not selling and the fans not buying a single ticket. Personally, I feel so strongly about this that, despite following Thistle and now ICT for over 40 years, neither me or my family will attending this historic occasion for the club unless reason and fairness prevail. Nothing short of disgraceful and contemptuous and we should not accept it under any circumstances. If Parkhead is not deemed suitable for a fair and equitable distribution of tickets it should not be hosting the final.
  2. Surely the lower tier should be allocated first: one end and 1.5 sides to the sheep and the other end + half a stand to us. Then you fill the upper tier once the bottom has sold out. The way this has been suggested, the lower tier at one end is likely to be half empty while the top tier in the corner is full. That'll look great on TV! What a complete shambles from the usual suspects!
  3. Is it really any surprise? Look at the man who's running the show. Look at him, just look at him! I wouldn't let him walk my dog!
  4. Agree with all the above, was always going to be hard with a significantly smaller support to get a good distribution, but it is a case of shoving ICT in the corner - everyone knows the away section is crap. Why can we not get the full LL stand, the main stand sections can be left free, hospitality or for excess ICT fans - the TV cameras will be from that side so who will know is its partly empty unlike the LL stand which will be visible and be a better view for us fans. Just another example of the SFA behaviour to fire this club up and motivate everyone even more.
  5. Would it not be better to simply say - We Hate Aberdeen ?
  6. The other half might be handy if your caught short!
  7. Not as well as hoped unfortunately...but we're aware that it's not an ideal setup and will be doing some work to improve things, offer more "tag ons" and better integrate it into the club website. We also need to work on the back end/production to make the process more efficient and less time consuming for getting the content online (giving us the time to do other stuff alongside it).
  8. I happened to look up SPFL in the dictionary...
  9. Totally agree with Kingsmills, refuse all tickets until this shambles is sorted out
  10. 25 quid for a ticket to the biggest game in our clubs history and yet half of us may end up watching half a game sitting behind a pole. Sometimes i wonder if the beaks at the SPFL are actually infants who have no concept of making sensible decisions that an adult can understand. These people are a disgrace and should never be allowed to have such power to run the game if they continue to make gaffs of this magnitude every single time they never learn.
  11. 1 point
I like Caley D's design best but would much prefer it without the unnecessary clutter of the CJT and CTO logos either side of the club crest.
  12. Utter disgrace!!! SPFL couldnt run a bath!!
  13. Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC have been in discussions with the SPFL since the seating map for the League Cup Final was received by the club. As far as we are concerned these discussions are still ongoing. The distribution of seating is unacceptable to us in its current form.!! Just seen this on FB .... Why is nothing ever straight forward with the SPFL when it comes to ICT ???
  14. Somebody is going to get a rite feckin whackin soon mun.
  15. Agree with Renegade. Presume CJT have paid a few quid towards the flag to have their logo on it?
  16. Cheers oddquine. I'll see if I have a PayPal account to use. If we are getting a second flag can I propose that we get one of a two fingered salute to the SPFL logo? I'll chip in £50 if we do.
  17. It's a cup final mate , the whole support should be singing .
  18. So glad that someone else asked!
  19. A good post that more or less summed up my view of the game. However, I think we need to try some different options starting with the game against Stranraer on Tuesday. Doran needs rested and Nick Ross could easily slot in on the left. Draper needs to wise a up a bit too - he was a bit sloppy yesterday. Devine also needs some game time before the LC Final.
  20. Wasn't at the game but the highlights make for interesting viewing. Appreciate you just get a few key moments, but several of ICT chances came as a result of good flowing passing moves and it seems that a combination of the woodwork and good goalkeeping prevented this from being a pretty comfortable victory. Greg Tansey seemed particularly unlucky but at least he is not frighted to have a go and could well get a useful few in the weeks ahead. With Vincent signing an extended deal we now have just about every main player in the squad signed up until at least the end of next season, and with several beyond that. Of course it is disappointing not to have won yesterday, but with the continuity the contract situation provides, the team will continue to develop their understanding of how each other plays and I honestly think this side can develop into something pretty special. Some team some day soon is going to be taken apart by ICT and I have a sneaking feeling it just could be Stranraer on Tuesday.
  21. To be fair I agree with them. To any scouts reading this site to get more info on Billy Mckay then he is complete mince and couldn't score in a brothel. I'd go and sign that Nade lad from Dundee if you are looking for a top striker....
  22. DC will be in aboot them.
  23. Did notice that stall today and, seeing the red white and blue flags, gave it a wide berth !
  24. I'm going to break my own rule and comment straight after I have returned from the match but not about the game but about some of our so called "supporters". I sit in the main stand and have, for the first time ever, turned on a man and woman who were supposed to be ICT fans. My wife was applauding the team off the pitch and these people asked "How can she clap that p!sh and the team are a disgrace." He got it with both barrels and was told in no uncertain terms that I'd rather see us in an empty stadium than have his so called support. People have the right to be disappointed but should not have a go at fans supporting the team. We have driven about a thousand miles in the last fortnight supporting the team ( my wife was the lady on Sportscene before the Stranraer game) and if this is the kind of idiot who are coming to games I for one don't want them. Rant over.
  25. I think that's a bit harsh on Steve. He has incredible contacts in the game built up over many years and Inverness have benefitted from those contacts. Let's not blacken the boy's name, he done a great job and pathetic comments about unpopularity amongst the players now he is gone is pretty low. It's not unthinkable that he would work up North again and I would rather it was in a place where he would feel welcome and this thread is starting to develop a nasty little feel to it. To say he was unpopular without naming names to back it up is also a little cowardly as the boy can't speak up to defend himself. He worked like a dog for Inverness and really loved his job here. If he rattled a few cages on the way, so what it's not a popularity contest. If anyone could do his job then why don't they? Come on Steve Marsella should be a hero here, he has done nothing wrong in my opinion.
