  1. Just seen on Twitter that Yogi has won the manager of the year award well done Yogi it is fully deserved
  2. I am delighted for him. I am fortunate in that I get to speak to the big guy more than most fans and he's a gem. No matter the result, no matter how much he's been wound up he's an absolute pro. Will talk about the game - with a depth of insight that would surprise some, always talks up his players and has a real affinity for the club. Will never sulk, never avoid the issues and never act the prima donna. He can be devastatingly honest at times (and not always for his own good) but his knowledge of people and how to get the best out of them is second to none. His predecessor was always praised for motivating people but if anything, Yogi is better. There's also the fact that he's a genuinely good bloke. When he was appointed, I remember being taken aback at how enthusiastic Kenny Cameron was about his appointment. There really was no other person who came close to surpassing Yogi. Wasn't wrong there then! Well done.
  3. but todays sale was for season ticket holders/shareholders and fans who attended the semi. A casual fan will be able to get them when they go on general sale and there will be plenty days to get these so your comments are a bit harsh. It took me 2 hours to get mine, probably with 4 serving, may have taken an hour but this was down to several things, volume of people, people choosing where they wanted to sit and lots of people buying got groups. The two people in front of me bought in excess of 20 tickets each which did cause delays but tickets got and final here we come.
  4. How brilliant is that? Well done John. You've proved your doubters to be wrong. Now, the icing on the cake will be clinching 3rd spot in the league, and, of course, winning the Scottish Cup. You can do it.
  5. Caleyjagstogether are working really hard trying to arrange buses to transport as many supporters as we can to the Scottish Cup Final. If you travelled with us to the semifinal you should be receiving an email allowing you to book again if you wish. You will hopefully get this today. If you booked in person we have tried to contact as many of you as possible but if you have been missed can you PM me or call into the sports bar desk prematch tomorrow so we can hopefully sort a seat for you. We are waiting to hear from the bus company re further buses. We hope to open general booking on Thursday so watch this space. Please please DO NOT phone the travelline for info. Open for Dundee and Celtic bus booking only and by TEXT. Board Members have full time jobs and cannot deal with the phone calls at the moment. If you have family, friends or neighbours not on social media, who wish to book seats, can you please let them know that there will be opportunites to book in person. Announcement of when to follow. We will keep you informed of arrangements as and when we have information to share. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.
  6. Joe - you could always volunteer to lend a hand? I'm sure the folk in the club shop would appreciate it.
  7. Nice touch - Club phoned me and asked me where I wanted to sit.
  8. I believe there were two points selling. You can also buy online. We are a small club with limited resources and staff so folk will really just have to be patient. Lots of time left to buy as well. That is a pretty poor excuse. Two selling points to sell thousands of tickets. If I was a casual fan thinking of going would I bother to wait two hours in a queue when I most likely have other things on. The only thing it could possibly lead to is reduced sales. Compare this to the final when County got there. If I remember right they had about 10+ selling points to meet demand. They also ordered in thousands of extra strips to sell for the final, selling them in Tesco as well with other stands in the town. Also busses were sourced from all over Scotland and even England to meet demand. I just have this feeling our club won't be as organised, with two selling points on the first day a good example. Will we run out of tops in the next week as well? Joe, It's not poor and not an excuse. She's just telling it how it is. The rest of your post is just "what if" . Chill, you and thousands more will get their tickets and buses and enjoy a day out like no other. Of course, if what you say comes to pass then complain after the final. After, mind.

  10. Nom Nom Nom, humble pie has never tasted so delicious. I was one of the sceptics after his appointment but I've been won over and some. Yogi is a top man, one of the real good guys of football and I'm delighted for him. Richly deserved and a tremendous honour for both Yogi and the club. By all accounts his acceptance speech brought the house down. Hayley McQueen just tweeted it was the best she's ever heard.
  11. 1 point
I have this vision of him tonight watching sky sports news, sitting slumped on the sofa bottle in one hand and a revolver in the other. Never mind Terry.
  12. Great news. And given our current run, here's hoping the curse works in reverse!
  13. 15. First ever Manager of the Year! Yogi rules!
  14. Great news indeed and puts Inverness Caley Thistle again in the Spotlight, for all the right reasons. Well done Yogi. Many many congratulations.
  15. Congratulations Yogi. Have to admit I had reservations early on, but he's walked the walk.
  16. Looking at highlights, Raven was lucky not to be sent off for pushing the ref after nearly having both legs broken!
  17. Having now seen the TV highlights I still feel, like I did yesterday, that Davidson's two legged tackle on David was very very dangerous. A good referee would have been onto the incident immediately and pulled Davidson aside.
  18. Christ......he doesn't look that old!
  19. Well due to the close proximity fer me it has to be Dumfries or Kilmarnock. Even enjoyed a 60th Birthday meal with King Beastie in Dumfries !!
