  1. Top six may be a distant prospect now but still not quite impossible. Whether it's a last effort to get into the top six or vital points to stay ahead of the relegation battle tomorrow's trip to Dingwall is huge and a draw would favour County much more than us as it would consolidate their place in the top six and their lead over us. If we win this match and our game in hand over Hearts we will be on the same points total as the Dingwall men and could still pip them for that place in thetop six. Personally, to end the league season, for once, in their shadows would hurt almost as badly as ending up in the Championship. There is no room for negativity either on or off the pitch we need to go all out for the win. I know we are all scunnered after recent results and performances but let's get overthebridge in good heart, good voice and good numbers to roar Richie Foran and the boys to victory and take a bit of the shine off their trophy and a bit of gloss off that five minute open top bus parade around Dingwall while at the same time turning our end of season around.

It's part of the whole nonsense of being a 'fan' now at any top-flight club anywhere, or indeed at all major sports and concerts. I used to take a camera along to away games when we were in the old First Division and supply a couple of shots to Bryan Munro for next week's match programme. Even at home games I used to get action shots for this website. That all had to end when we got into the SPL where they had pro photographers at every game anyway. Your involvement in the game or 'event' is supposed to extend as far as buying your ticket and merchandise and concession stall food, then sitting down and watching the 'event' and generally being a good consumer and going home happy at the end. It's why I've been at only 15 ICT games this season and two or three ridiculously overpriced English matches. The other 40 or so have been non-League where you can stand and have a pint or walk around during a game and mix with opposing supporters and even chat to the players afterwards.
  3. Last season may not be repeated in its completeness for many a year. However, this year we had an eminently make-able route to the final laid out for us (i.e. get past a Championship side albeit very good, then the side rooted to the bottom of the Premiership). That level of challenge to get to a final may also not be repeated for many years to come. Serious foul-up (team selection, defensive display, missed chances) at the hands of a team that is ridiculed in social media for bottling on the big occasion. On Wednesday's big occasion, it was ourselves that "Hibs'd" it. I applaud the board for last year pulling out the stops to get a proven goal-scoring forward albeit on a short-term deal (Ofere) who eventually played a very significant part in achieving Europe and cup success. By comparison, I'm hugely disappointed with their lack of effort in the same area this year ... especially after having banked our biggest ever transfer money deal early in the season when there was still plenty time to plan / get our ducks in a row recruitment-wise.

You'll probably enjoy this even more. Just something I knocked together. ***Warning _ This Report May Contain Some Terracing***
  5. Could not be there last night as down south: blessing in disguise? Could not believe the team selection, despite being happy JM back. Watching BBC text updates was painful, car crash waiting to happen. Confirmed by highlights. I am going to Dingwall on Saturday fearing the worst but hoping for the best! Bottom six is inevitable. I hate to admit it, but after the highs of last season, I predicted we would finish 8th this season. I would take that now! The criticism of JH and some players on here is justified, but when times are tough the players need to know that we are behind them. Let's do what we can to support and encourage them.

No matter the team - just go do em big style guys!
  7. Totally agree with Kingsmills, at them from word go we have done it before. Players know what they have to do and I hope a good crowd right behind them.

It would be great to have Meekings back there, we've seriously missed him. Against County in particular I'd love to see him "behave in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm by shouting and swearing, challenging people to fight, uttering offensive remarks and behaving in an aggressive manner"
  9. A lad a few rows infront of me was periscoping the Hearts game at the start of the month Think the club should do something to Dundee I think it is, who have a stream set-up for overseas viewers

German football is cheaper and they have bars in the ground. Milan too. Much more enjoyable. The other posters here got it right in that social media and brand can co-exist. Enjoyed your flickr photos

100% my thoughts Mantis, scunnered with the "organisation" from top to bottom,no craic or fun attending games these days, no atmosphere, policed to death."Gie's yer money, sit down, shut up" Saturdays generally spent in other pusuits these days.
  12. I felt Josh was well off the pace to begin with but gradually got upto the pace of the game. I'm desperate to see our centre half's back together again, hopefully Hughes puts them together for the derby. Danny is simply not good enough, he's had this whole season up until now to prove himself but has not reached the required standard. I like the idea of storey and Roberts/williams as wide men and Richie as the target man, hopefully this happens for the Derby.

Its crazy and another example of how the SFA/SPFL and others seem to value their brand fiercely but then do nothing to promote it themselves. 1000 fan pics posted all over social media does more to enhance the brand or show enjoyment than making a handful of professional pics available via SNS or media outlets. The two things are not mutually exclusive and can co-exist very easily. I know this well - both from taking pictures at ICTFC before I moved over here, and when it was allowed, even encouraged, and also from Season 1 to now with TFC. I am glad that Toronto FC has a different policy, otherwise TFCpics would not exist ! 10 years worth of photos on there. I have had the odd issue getting into the ground, mostly because the stewards think the camera (Nikon D7000 with 18-200mm lens) is too big, but some assertiveness and requesting to speak with a supervisor on the rare occasions it happens seems to work.
  14. Awful team selection. Its no coincidince we were much improved after we made the substitutions. Why Hughes started up front and Storey was on the bench is ridiculous. What did Hughes do against Hamilton that merits another start tonight. Horner offered nothing in midfield as did Wedderburn. How did these guys start when Roberts, Williams and Polworth were sitting on the bench. If John Hughes doesnt come out tonight or tomorrow and admit he picked the wrong team i will be amazed.

  16. May as well close this thread - that ship has now sailed. The next thread should be "staying up IMPERATIVE". We need another 10 points from God knows where to be safe from the play-off spot. As I've said for months, the 2 games against the Lanarkshire teams are vital. On this form, the other games before the split look beyond us, which is a good indication of exactly how deep in the sh!te we are. Indeed, I'd take a draw against Motherwell too.
  17. How do you decide which naughty words you blank and which ya don't.
  18. Some truth to what you say, CIF Still, it's not over 'til the fat lady sings and even if she croaks, there's always next year.
  19. i see a lot off Hibs and Hearts fans are posting there games Live on Periscope now i watch the Hibs v Hearts game on tuesday night on it what about Caley Thistle fans doing the same thing for home and away games
