I know we have all been critical of the club of late and some of the recent comments have been over the top! However we really need to start getting the basics right for instance I was down at the stadium this morning hoping to purchase a new away top for my son and surprise surprise the club shop was closed with no notification of whether it would be open or not! The doors to reception were also closed. Do they want our money? Granted I could have phoned / tweeted beforehand to check but come on it was 10.45 on a Saturday morning and I grudge spending my work lunch time through the week going down to the shop. It's time we got our act together its little or basic things like this that gives off the impression that we have a amateur set up! I do not want to blame individuals here but the club as a whole who really need to step up a gear!
  2. MM may not set the pulse racing but he's a decent coach and well worthy of consideration as Director of Football.
  3. I hope to goodness you mean Dods!
  4. The supporters group have been good at sorting this in the past, maybe they could organise something?
  5. Every single one of them has a better manager than us.
  6. Could still be a dual citizen gentlemen and ladies of the jury. When he hears the Pimple is a Canajin + dual citizen he will be impressed then? And I should contact him for a free stand ticket the next time I am over on holiday.....eh?
  7. A proper feckin shop would be a good start!!!
  8. Well the longer the board remain silent the more likely that Foran will remain in post. I do believe he requires a strong and experienced number two if we have any chance of bouncing straight back. Daniel had Mr Miyagi , Luke Skywalker had Yoda but who will guide Foran and ICT, back to the Premier League ????
  9. Over 700 members of the supporters trust and over 1,300 followers on facebook. But I would definitely say that individuals should also contact the club direct, the more the better to get the true feelings of the fans over to the board.
  10. Graham's a good guy and I think he'll be an asset to the board.
  11. It is obviously out of our hands what the board eventually decide to do about Richie, however surely we should be letting the board know that many of the fans do not want him to stay on as manager? Fans chanting "Sack the board" should have been "Sack Richie! Fans pay their hard-earned cash to attend games, sponsor players, buy merchandise, sit on committees in their own time, etc. so surely we have the right to influence the board due to the frustration and disappointment that Richie has not been up to the job. He clearly does not have the skills at the present time to be in a management position, looking at an article written by sport psychologist Martin Perry and "the perfect manager" it is clear that Richie does not possess the top ten key skills - Innovation Vision Leadership Communication Principle Organisation Respect Strategy Storytelling. Unsure as to how we let the board know but any suggestions........?
  12. I want United to lose for 3 reasons: first, it would be one in the eye for the establishment and pundits who want "normal service" to be resumed as soon as possible. Get rid of the "wee teams" and replace them with the "proper teams" who appear to be entitled to top flight football. Hits and Dundee United for ICT and Hamilton would be their dream come true. 2nd, I think United would struggle even more than us financially, if they stay down. They would, at best, have to bin their better players and at worst might have to accept 15 point deduction for administration. 3rd, they play on grass.
  13. Armstrong was indeed let go because of relegation - we didn't field an u20 team (or whatever the equivalent was called then) when we were in the first division, so Armstrong was one of a lost generation. Regrettable! I assume that similar considerations are being made right now for next season - hopefully there is a realisation that youth is the most cost-effective option for filling holes in the first team squad. as for Bowden and Mulraney - I'm not surprised on either count, but I think Mulraney could tear up the championship. I think it was against Dunfermline this season that he was unplayable. Unfortunately, it seems that Foran is still making the decisions. He should have been relieved of any role in decision making, given his track record over the season. The worst apple is still at the club and must be removed immediately.
  14. I hear Andrew Moffat has been successful in the lower leagues.
  15. Hoping Accies run riot. Sick and tired of hearing biased pundits like Willie Miller lamenting wee teams displacing the 'big teams' in the top league. The closed shop mindset. It's good for Scottish football having Sevco, Hibs, Hearts and Dundee Utd in the SPL don't you know? Heck, lets go the whole hog - just give them the 10 team Premier League they keep asking for already, and bring back the 10,000 seater stadium rule to boot.
  16. Ludicrous if Mulraney is being let go - would suprise me as would the club have used him for the launch of the new tops? I know he's been a bit 'pace but no final ball', but he is a young player with lots to learn - a decent prospect. Boden..not too fussed one way or another. Makes you wonder who'll be left in the squad if we are shunting out players on long contracts? Rather Foran left, to be honest..
  17. I hated the Scottish cup final, it was utter torture. Decent first half and excellent goal but we were rotten in the second half and I'm still kind of amazed we won it. Marley Watkins is owed a lot by this club for what he did in that game. The semi-final is my favourite moment as a Caley fan, what a performance.
  18. Yet another IHE stooge on the board.
  19. A chimpanzee smoking crack would have more intelligence than anything you've ever posted.
  20. You would think after a whole week of meetings the board & new chairman could have released a statement about Richie's future. The only positive I had after being relegated was that common sense would prevail and Foran would be replaced asap. Yet nothing so far! Reading most of the posts on here suggests that there are more reasons why it is time for Foran to go, the only sticking point is his contract/compensation package. If Foran stay's I can't see any positives. After watching every game this season it became apparent early on for everyone to see that the appointment was a catastrophic blunder! Don't think I can watch another season if he remains manager. And it pains me to say I will probably not be renewing my season ticket. I believe both the players & ICT fans deserve better!
  21. He doesn't even set Mrs Malpas's pulse racing with excitement.......
  22. Ok smart ass. If you want us to continue our decline, keep supporting the current regime.
