  1. Geez, that was excruciating towards the end. Great result though, especially with so many of our best players missing.

Must go ahead, I'm fed up writing previews for it.

Not convinced that it was the right decision given the weather forecast. However, now that it has passed a pitch inspection, every effort should be made to get it played to avoid the team and the hardy band of travelling fans from being inconvenienced and out of pocket again
  4. This is the kind of stuff we are capable of,even though Chick Young says it is absoluteley astonishing and hard to believe. Come on lads give Mr Young a full time report to choke on.
  5. Phew. Gotta love ICT for raising my blood pressure but it was all worth it. Fantastic 3 points to pick up on the road. Be a happy trip back up the road for those brave souls that ventured down
  6. I’ll take that. A good 3 points !!!!
  7. Excellent. That will do the confidence a power of good.
  8. Absolutely fantastic result.
  9. It was because we were 3-0 down at half time......................hope we go for it second half and do not sit in and invite problems.
  10. or the 0-7 in 2010 or the 7-3 in 2000 !!! there have been a few crackers against Ayr
  11. most acceptable ? .... not sure what the pre-match teamtalk was but it seems to have worked !
  12. He made a good impression on many of us on Saturday - ready and up-for-it. Same for the loanee from Hearts - looked a good prospect. Onwards and upwards for the Caley Thistle. I was a “Caley” for many many years but now a true “Caley Thistle”.
  13. This one fully intends to ?
  14. Hope the Jags supporters get behind him too ?
  15. True story amazed wev not brought even a loan striker i think wer the best team in the league by a distance apart from up top we are proper lacking a goal scorer!

M6 was down to one lane from Tebay to the Shap. Snow was bad passed Abington services. Glesga is clear and relatively mild. Catching the 18.00 choo-choo from Central. Not one of the usual Central Belters going.
  17. don't think so somehow. I just hope he is not being used to give us a bit of credibility.

Weather forecast looks ropy. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if it was off given we are likely to be missing Ridgers, Donaldson, Walsh and Doran.
  19. As I actually was at yesterday's game, I feel I can comment with some confidence. If there had been any neutrals at that game they must have loved it. End to end stuff with plenty of chances at either end. The game stats show that we clearly had most possession etc and probably should have converted more of our chances and won the game, but in fact we were hanging on at the end with Falkirk clearly on top in the latter stages. Whilst I approve of giving our young goalkeeper all the support he needs to continue his improvement, the facts are that he was shaky from the start, and clearly must take the blame for Falkirk scoring direct from a corner. He did not seem to be impeded, and in my view, although we away supporters were a long way from the action, seemed just to misjudge it. Their keeper, in comparison, made several good saves which probably made the difference. Thought there were fairly encouraging signs from McCauley, and if McDonald's left foot rasper just after came on had hit the back of the net, he would have become an instant hero. Anyway, I enjoyed the game in 'Eagle for Caley's company, and look forward to my next live match.
