  1. Read it and you'll ee its a good statement ,and the fact it's done jointly with County draws a line that is clear. Damage done to either stadium from either set of fans affects both clubs and will be dealt with accordingly. Some tubes in the support can't comprehend this...they aren't needed at the games.

  2. Would you prefer that they turn a blind eye to criminal activity?

  3. To be fair they're only having a go a those who have chosen to wreck seats. I'm ok with that.

  4. Falkirk did their homework. We never got going. They came for a point and got it by looks of it? Big week ahead. Lets pick ourselves up and move on. Lastly special mention to the totally inept ref Hope we dont have him again for a long while.

  5. Just thought I'd spread the word that - all being well - the club will be providing live audio commentary from tomorrow afternoon's game against Falkirk. The plan is to put it up on the club's Twitter feed during the match via the Periscope streaming app - which means hopefully that it should easily be found either on Twitter or by checking down the twitter feed displayed on the matchday topic. You should just have to open the tweet and press play. It won't be much good for people at the game as the broadcast will be about 20 seconds or so behind real time, but hopefully it'll work well for those of you who can't make the game. We're still getting the hang of this, so constructive feedback would be appreciated.

  6. I think some folk are being rather unduly negative. Sure, we weren't at our best but let's give a bit of credit to Falkirk who are a much better side now than the team that beat us here earlier in the season to end our unbeaten run. They strengthened considerably in January and have lost only once in 2019 - a 2-1 loss away to league leaders County. In that game they may have conceded 2 goals but they restricted County to just 4 attempts on goal over the 90 minutes. Today was also the first time Falkirk have failed to score in 2019, a fact for which our defence deserve a bit of credit.

  7. Lots of wee kids in the north stand today - must have been some tickets out to schools. Quite nice to see them running around , a bit of singing going on too. A welcome addition to the fan base, for a day at least. Filled some of the spaces in the stand anyway, and I think they had a better day out than us older ones!

  10. Terrible advert for the Beautiful Game today. Highlight for me was when the sun briefly came out just before half time other than that nothing. MoM for me was Charlie Trafford covered every blade of grass and went looking for the ball at every opportunity.

  11. A very poor game but, with the Pars losing last night, we are actually a point closer to securing a play off place. Much more effort, skill and commitment needed on Tuesday.

  12. Absolutely brutal... That was fan abuse. Last 10 minutes when Austin and Walsh were on we looked a wee bit more dangerous, But poor finishing and lack of composure let us down. Maybe we're keeping fresh for Tuesday?

  13. Listened to some of the commentary. Sounded like a really poor game/performance. Pity our good form of late disappeared today , especially as County and United both lost. Hoping for better things on Tues night. We are still well positioned for a play off spot, so lets hope we can hold on to that. And of course, a couple of great performances at Hampden could still turn a mediocre season into an exceptional one. Onwards and upwards.

  14. That game had 0_0 written all over it after 5mins. So it panned out. Caley could and should have snaffled it 1_0 but for some good goalkeeping and poor finishing towards the end. Bit of a scare late on when falkirk nearly stole it. Hope for a better game Tuesday.

  15. Dreadful performance all round.Do they really want promotion? One pathetic shot on target in 90 minutes says it all. Play like this on Tuesday and we will get hammered.

  16. Bloody horror show from start to finish. Slightly more threat when our useless forward went off. For such a big unit he's a bit soft in the challenge. Hearts will be looking forward to playing us.

  17. It’s a really important game for us today. Given the league table it is a game we should win but Falkirk are fighting for survival and will bring a sizeable and vocal support with them. If we are in any way distracted by the prospect of the County game on Tuesday or the forthcoming semi final then we will likely get beat. We really need the fans to get behind the team today and help keep the momentum going.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.
