  2. Let’s put tonight in context. A Championship team that has struggled against teams like Alloa this season was drawn away to a Premiership team that has beaten the reigning Scottish Champions twice this season. Only one team played well. Only one team deserved to win. Only one team looked like the best team in the Highlands. Only one team looked like the Premiership team. Which team? The wonderful Inverness Caledonian Thistle. If we make the play offs, tonight showed we have nothing to fear Happy Easter all! Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.
  3. Buckie Thistle gave us more of a fright than County did!
  4. 5 points
Turned out it was a harder game against Buckie.
  5. And it’s a pity too that County’s fans weren’t there, so we could have watched them streaming out when Sutherland scored our third!
  6. It’s not Good Friday, it’s flippin Great Friday! 😀😀😀
  7. Wondrerful performance, played with purpose, application and the desire to win. We fell back in the second half and county suddenly looked dangerous however the three subs turned the game right round again so well done managemenrt, coaching, all who played and the unheard roars of our supporters, a great night a great win and a booster towards promotiion when we go back on league duty. Wont fill in my player of the year selection till tomorrow as so many on the field qualified tonight. .......well done ICT

  9. Uncle Roy is there. Maybe wee Billy should be too. Pwoud, vewy pwoud. Oh to be there tonight drinking @caley100's whisky.

He was dreaming! Reality hit him tonight!!!
  11. Well done to all the team for a good game, three good goals and a great result against County Just like the old days
  12. County in the playoffs 😁😂
  13. What a great performance tonight. We've hardly put a foot wrong. Look more like the ICT we know and love, playing quality football, promising youngsters. McCann, take a bow.
  14. Looks like a desperate shree man substitution in the works
  15. The last time I saw us, think it was the Raith game on BBC, we were near the bottom and struggling. Amazing how much better we are with a few wins under our belt and a new recruit. McCann must get some credit for that. Hope Robbo is watching and enjoying it.
  16. You are right Alan and I noticed the BBC stats had County with 61% possession which was all going sideways and backways which is the boring football we had for a while!
  17. The best one from tonight Mantis we are feeling great I thought this would have even stirred up IHE
  18. Isn't that Daniel Mckay's second goal from an opposition corner recently, didn't he do the same against Raith from a Ridger's kick out?

  20. Only three shots on target but they all counted. Wonder how many we could have scored had the players had more efforts on goal!!
  21. Love it! You should add Roy MacGregor, John Hughes, Billy Mckay, Jordan White and Carl Tremarco!!
  22. Daniel Maradonnackay !!!!!!!! What a goal. ❤️🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤
  23. Told you we would win. Class act all round. Scot Allan will make goals for us. Pride of the Highlands.
  24. Yogi got that completely wrong. He's all talk and front. Oh what a shame 😉
  25. McCann, Mackay and Toddy all gave good interviews. We wanted it more than County. Whatever happens in the rest of April, tonight has made my season. That said, I really hope we make the play offs and, who knows, maybe even go up, and have a cup run, but it’s a long time since we beat County and, boy, does it feel good!!
  26. Daniel Mackay - He scores when he wants !!!⚽️
  27. Three really good goals tonight. Could have been more with Allan’s passing. Once the players read them and stay on side we should be even more strong up front.
  28. I have to profoundly disagree. It's not a slight pity, it's a great pity 😁
  29. That pink strip has a magic effect on our players.
  30. Just a slight pity that our fans weren’t there to see a derby win in Dingwall that will be remembered for a long time. Not often that we win it as complete underdog.
  31. Fantastic performance all round. Play like that in the last 5 league games and we'll cruise into the play offs. 🥳
  32. Ross County 1 - Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3. It might not be in the league and it might not be quite 5-0, but this will do me just fine. C'mon Caley!
  33. Eat your words!!!!
  34. We've got the best Mackay, nah nah nah. What a great solo effort
  35. Brilliant by Mackay! 1-2!!! Skinned 2 defenders and cool finish. Yes!!!
  36. Good team performance, looking well up for it. Welsh and Allen looking very good in midfield. I think we are the better team, just, in terms of passing and tactics. Should be a good second half. Hughes will probably change things around, they don't look great.
  37. Their left back should have been booked too. His foul was as bad as Devine’s.
  38. Todorov had been really good so far. His hold up and link up play have been excellent.
  39. Come on the Caley - Here's hoping for a Good Friday🏆🏆🏆
  40. Did they win then?
  41. Superb....😍😍😍
  42. What a win, I was not expecting that! We took our chances really well, but County’s defending 😀
  43. Would be having a night in Raigmore if fans were there tonight. Head first down the stand
  44. Don't recall playing that long ball ***** when Hughes was with us...lesser players I suppose. Can certainly see why they struggle in the premier.
  45. 1-1. Toddy!! Well finished. We deserved that!
  46. Danny is looking dangerous here.

Is he being serious, or is this an elaborate April Fools joke? https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/ross-county/3018598/if-i-could-win-the-scottish-cup-you-never-know-john-hughes-dreaming-of-leading-ross-county-to-hampden-glory/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
